Thank you! This was very informative and easy to understand for a beginner like me! I have Canon 700D with standard 18-55mm lens and EF-S 55-250 mm STM lens. I've been taking very decent photos and now I want to learn taking videos. I am wondering which lense is the best for videography as a beginner who just wants to improve their skills and hopefully in the future learn to make beautiful videos to share on social media! I will appreciate any recommendations ☺️
Thank you! For a beginner, I would definitely recommend a 50mm 1.8 prime lens to have in your collection for shooting human subjects. I’d get a wide lens too if you can (10-18mm) that should give you a good focal range to begin with!
Excellent material on this camera. I have a query here - in my camera I am not able to shoot video for more than 5 seconds, it stops after 5 seconds. I can't figure out which settings has messed up here. The card I use is 8gb n fully free
What kind of Objective you use? I have the one i brought my camera with and it does extremly bad sound.. The motor. The guy lied and told me is normal but is not, even with noise compression you can hear, and is really annoying to have that sound especialy when recording in public.
For this video I used the kit lens. When filming I always try to use an external microphone either mounted on the unit or I record audio to a dedicated recorder. Is the sound constant or only when you autofocus?
If your subject isn’t going to move much, and you're working with sufficient depth-of-field, Single AF is fine. If the subject is moving, you'll want to be in Continuous AF mode.
Very clear and explicit presentation. Thank you!
Super clear and easy to follow along with, thank you very much
this was great thank you!
Wow! What a great video! Thank you.

Which brand SD are you using? Have a look at the ‘video speed class’ of the SD card itself. It makes a big difference.

Glad it was helpful!
What are AF option for video? Single? Continuous? Servo? or it does not matter?

why my camera doesn't have 1080 30 fps ?only 24 fps
Is it the same model as in the video?
@Michael-Media Yes but the problem was about my video system settings. I didn't set it in ntsc mode.
I fixed it
