In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
    Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
    Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
    Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
    Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
    Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
    When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

Jake ... looks very good. Best I have seen. I was HCM member for many many years I just can’t afford the $500 to $600 monthly fees so I decide to diy and save money. Plus I don’t like the hcm center appointment always late and never on time. I do like the stylist I use but to me I just can’t afford their crazy high monthly service fee.

Right on! Anyone considering joining a club needs to understand it is very expensive, if you can afford to over pay - great go for it - it sucks having to find an appointment, driving there (I heard one guy drives an hour. That’s crazy) but do you for most of us we can do this ourselves - I did, very happy to be able to work on it anytime I want at home and save the money of a really nice monthly car payment.

Omg - I was going to mention the same thing! They saw the 3k subscribers and the information that jake was giving people (revealing that you can do this yourself, a lot of work and learning but it gets easier over time). They felt threatened and did the ole “keep your friends close and enemies closer” and Jake unfortunately fell for it. Good for him on his success, I am just disappointed that it seems as he pivoted on his original mission of empowering people to do this themselves. Doesn’t he even have videos calling out the extremely cost of hair clubs?

Best look by far. There is still plenty of at home work. You can't get a reinstall every 2 weeks so you'll inevitably have to do one yourself in between sessions. It just makes it a lot easier in the end. MHE actually has better hairlines, but Curtis can't get hair yet.

I think the system looks good and I don’t know what the prices are for Hair Club, but I know when I went for a consultation to 2 different places, the cheapest was $1600 for 1 system and they recommended getting 3 systems for $3900. I was with HC for 27 years...they lost me when they continued to charge full price during all of the Ca Covid lock downs which forced me to do research on alternatives... and here I am.. I now do everything through Lord Hair and could not be happier. Their stylists are great and have no complaints with them.. it was their whole business model that turned me off. Of course after 27 years i know what I want and how to do installs so i guess i kind of out grew them. They are good for first timers and for those that have money to burn and want to be pampered each month but in reality their model is outdated (with the hard sales pitches and monthly fees which are twice as high as a custom system form other companies). I think the Hair for All London business model is the way to go now with an initial consult, order, install, and train the client how to do their own services.
Anyway, Jake, you got the ultra treatment but knowing what i know now, there is no way I would go back.

I am curious to see your thoughts on your recent hair systems and styles now that you've got something genuinely good going there.

Remember they are well aware of your influence so of course you'll get the best treatment they have to give but it's not most people's experience. They're way over priced and push you into want they've got not necessarily what you wanted

Nos I have a question for you how much is anticipated to happen and when you go to a hair club are you tight to their plan ,meaning can you become self sufficient and do it on your out like you ?? Please advice

Wondering if anyone here has had experience with poly (skin) systems with scallop front. I am used to lace but frustrated with the unrealistic hairline and have been advised to try this sort of system. Any comments/feedback/places I can see what it looks like once it has been cut in and applied? Anyone willing to share their experience?

You found a good stylist. Use that stylist to cut in your online wigs?I would use the experience to find the right model...every hair club location is different..its not consistent like McDonalds.

6:42... ya they want to now start treating their clients better because they lost alot of them while they were continually charging full price during the covid lock downs. ...then they tried to say that they "had" to charge us because their systems were so expensive to make --which as we all know, their operations were halted as well..so it was pure BS.. I can tell you that the 6 Lord Hair systems that i have gotten are awesome.

Sorry to say I will be unsubscribing. The hair clubs charge you thousands to become a member and then for the price of a car every year you have to pay a monthly fee and you get a limited number of units. I turned your channel on to learn how to break free from that. Seems like you’re going commercial. The rest of us who don’t get free sponsorships will have to band together somewhere else.

Don't let the door hit you in the can. Jake has done literally dozens for videos for the less expensive end of this market. He did exactly ONE eight-minute video for viewers who could consider having their hair needs met by a professional staff and a bunch of whining crybabies start sobbing like a class of fifth grade girls on their first synchronized menstral cycle.
I found the video's perspective fascinating. Even if I couldn't afford such a service, it's nice to know what the high end of this craft is capable of.
Sorry you feel neglected but honestly, you come off like a jilted girlfriend.
Thanks for the video, Jake. I'm sorry you have to deal with these tempermental tools.
