Hi nice eyeglasses what brand are they
@7:00 this is only currently working out for those who have chosen to quit because the government is providing the safety net of stimulus, eviction moratoriums, increased unemployment benefits etc. the big corporations dont actually need these workers or atleast not in the capacity they currently employ them. look at amazon and the opening of their amazon go stores. these corporations could automate 90% of the jobs within the next 5-10 years if they wanted to
Solution: Make working at the office REALLY freaking fun and better than living in a cramped apartment. Build a swimming pool, install an arcade, make a large lounge area with a restaurant, a workout room, etc.
Paying fifty dollars for interviewing shows how desperate McDonalds is to find people to make fried chicken
I was the 9,000th like!
We are quitting because enough is enough. Overworked + Overwhelmed + underpaid = resignation. Don’t let the government fool you. They’re are PLENTY of ways to be happy WHILE making money.
So what are they? How?! They know we need jobs
I agree
Yea it’s called owning your own business
This
@OJD PUBLISHING she didn't even say that. also who cares? there is a demand so why shame people for supplying that.
I could do 95% of my work at home, and more efficiently due to my happiness. AND generate more results, and be able to meditate and swim during my short recharge breaks.... but no, I have to sit in a toxic work environment, eat out, and deal with micromanaging 1980s style bosses.
I’m THIS close. THISSSSSS close.
Do it.
Fock those 1980 style bosses. They are frickin worthless and play games w people lives
I’m 100% with you buddy. The 1980s style micromanaging boss is what I’m about to say goodbye to! Can’t wait! :) onto better things!

fuck them dude. Leave if you can. Your happiness and well being is way more important than out of touch dinosaurs unwilling to adapt
You know you are Overworked when you no longer take vacation time because it puts you further behind and therefore it makes it worse when you come back from vacation.
Yes! This is what happened to me. I was so behind and knew if I took off it would be even worse. I ended up quitting and got paid out over 80 hours of vacation that I never used.
Barely receive much vacation time anyway 😂 prob gon be like 2 days a yr
Never work for a corporation out of morale, only for money! When you made just about enough, QUIT and start your own business! You got the damn experience!
Ooof, yeah I am at max vacation hours…. I got 180 vacation hours and it’s soo hard to take off due to deadlines and training people. 😥
Literally every job I've ever had as an adult. Tons of work before and after the vacation.
Unfortunately because of Covid I quit my job and will never settle for less, made me realize it’s not worth working for someone else especially if it’s a miserable work environment.
Felt this for years before covid what did you do to quit
What do you do now?
How do you make money?
Yes yes yes 🙌🏻💞👌🏼
Are you working now? If so in a completely new area than before?
I’ve noticed my employer treating us employees “carefully” I try not to abuse this pleasant change. This is how it should of been our entire life. Competition really brings the best out of us.
Yup
Such a strange arrangement. These employers and managers have been conditioned to have done for them as a result of the job they have "given us".
I was paid over 25$ an hour but the rudeness from my manager, co worker, patients. I couldn't bear. I recently quit
What type of job was that toxic? Is it medical industry related since you said patients? Genuinely curious. Glad you got out.
I hope it works out for you everywhere is stressful dont let a youtuber make you homeless lol!!! Quit on a case by case basis dont screw yourself unfortunatly we all need money to live trust me i wanna quit but it would be dumb if i cant replace my income
@@valetineinc Im not the original poster but for me it was IT (Information Technology), I had quit my job because I felt I was being too micro-managed. Being monitored for every little thing I did. Having everyone else rudely tell me what to do. Getting yelled at for coming 5 minutes late one day. I quit. Now I work remotely from home in another job. And lots of investing on the side. Gives me time to focus on myself and go to the gym more often. Needless to say, I'm much happier now than I was before.

My last day is this Thursday, I made a promise to myself to never EVER work a weekend or a stat holiday in my life, those days are meant for spouse, family, friends and hobbies! My job gives me anxiety and chest pains every single morning. Enough is enough! Health is #1 followed by spending time with spouse, family, friends and hobbies!
Check out the university scene! For reals. I worked in startups 6 years and then decided to take a break from the low budget dire need for results, and went to a university. Got a discounted MBA in my evenings/weekends, teach a few courses in addition to my role, plenty of vacation days, holidays off, and in summer when the students are off, the office environment slows down and there’s more time to do team building things like a group bike ride, golf, or lunch together!

I’m in Canada as well. What are you going to do for money?
@@ColinMacInnis academia can be a toxic environment as well.
I was working for a place that started putting fliers out saying they were now hiring for more than they were paying me, and I had been there for 6 years. I don't work there anymore.
Wow that must've been infuriating. ive been looking at job applications on glass door and I figured being a security guard sounded nice. I dont wanna be a police officer and risk my life for people who don't appreciate it and in fact hate me. also all i gotta do is stand around and kick people out i guess. Im not gonna do a armed security job with a gun because that seems sketchy. But I figured since im gonna start going to the gym and beef up maybe security work would be good for me. id feel good knowing im protecting people and stuff.
Worked through the entire pandemic as a “essential worker” and at first it seemed great. I had a sense of purpose because I was helping keep products moving to people who needed them. Fast forward to now, any pay raise that was given to us was just temporary, I’m back at minimum wage but my workload never diminished. I’ve gained $0.30 in raises over the past three years of working at my job and feel like too little butter scraped over too much bread (props if you get the reference)
I just want a break 😩 Might be time to move on.
I started working grocery right after covid because so many people quit & I hated my other job. It was great at first but then after a about 6 months we somehow got stuck doing all three shifts worth of work. Any new people we hire quit within 3 weeks at most. We got a raise to $15/hr.,but it still doesn’t even pay basic necessities. So exhausting and ridiculous. I used to enjoy my job before it became pressure everyday to do everyone’s job for them & when other shifts do work they mess it up so it takes us more time to fix it and even worse ours is the only shift that’s actually timed on how long we take to finish.
I loved working through the pandemic and making less than I would have been if I was unemployed when they were giving out the extra money
@@MostGenericUser right…it should’ve been mandatory that we got paid extra as workers risking our lives because we couldn’t quit and still pay bills,it was only for those laid off.
I can relate to that a little. My job gave $3 raises and even had a covid temp checks, after summer 2020 the pay rate went back to the same and covid temp check tent vanished. Now since everybody quit the pay doubled/trippled..so has the workload, pay off your debt, save your $, & prepare to quit & work for yourself. explore every thing about yourself that'll be your way out.
@@BigSpender29 Pretty much the same except ours went from $11 to $13 for a few months during covid. We had the temps checks too until a few months ago. Then our pay -3rd shift only-went from $11 to $15 but if I still can’t pay bills while doing 2-3 peoples jobs 5 nights a week then somethings really wrong.
You mean everybody didn't rush back to their degrading, underpaid jobs the minute state governments ended the extra unemployment benefits? Excuse me while I put on my shock face.
Lol, same. My family was going on about how everyone will get to back to work after the benefits ended. They have since pivoted to saying that everyone will go back to work after the money they saved up from the benefits runs out, lmao. They run a business, and are super in denial, and I ain't talking about Egypt.
@@MiddleFingerLimited it wont be long until they stop denying it. if it is a long time until then, then all i can say is "wow."
I quit my secure union job 4 years ago to start my own business. Best decision ever. Now I control my time and have lots of money invested.
Great. Hope you’re successful snd need to start hiring. Then you will see the other side of the coin. You’re in for a surprise.
We love the warrens
PPP? Thats why im so pissed I didn’t start a business.
Congratulations and how did you start your own business
Not EVERYONE is capable or suited to start/run their own business. It's a simple fact. Not everyone is meant for it...and then there is ALWAYS competition to deal with and finding/keeping employees if you need them. If you did it good for you, but remember not everyone can and people need to stop shaming those that cant do their own business cause of all the risks involved
We built luxurious cars , hotels , resorts , gadgets ,mansions, restaurants which are totally unnecessary for a peaceful living. And we did it at the cost of exploiting the nature. We are in a mad rush to earn money to buy all these unnecessary things. If we follow the policy of simple living and nature friendly life style we don't have to go through all this. But I am afraid , our minds are damaged and enslaved beyond repair.
Thank you for sharing!
There is no turning back for most so just save yourself and your offspring (whenever they get here).
i feel like even trying to live simple is pretty expensive. its actually expensive to be broke and that’s what keeps us in this cycle of trying to be rich to avoid the expenses of being broke lol
What you said is so true! There is one word to sum up what you said. Greed.....This will be one of the things that will destroy us.
@@M_Archive true. insurance costs alone cost you more when you are poor. buying a house? that interest rate will cost you! same with buying a car.
2020 has certainly pushed a lot of people to truly think about what kind of work / life balance they want. Great video Vin!
It also occurs to me as he was talking about making sure you have enough cushion to quit. That's what the stimulus did for people still working. Between that and the eviction moratorium there was suddenly less pressure on the lower classes. Having enough money to not worry about tomorrow's dinner helps people think more clearly. Think Marlow's hierarchy of needs. I think in that clarity, the oppressed underclass has awoken.
No.. people have always quit if they don't like the job..
They just want you to start looking for something you could like..
It's not a bad idea.. happy people working is better then someone that doesn't show up..
@@e-lo-ken702 no they haven't. Mostly they get comfortable and then feel trapped because they don't want to move and take a pay cut. The thing that is different now is that companies give real shitty raises and workers have realized that the most efficient way to get a raise is to go do the same thing for someone else and make more money.

As much as I like money, A stressful work environment, working on someone else's clock to do a job I find no fulfillment in, isn't worth it. I'm just glad that I'm investing and learning to day trade. There's no way I can be a W-2 employee until I get old. Sounds depressing.
I'm doing the same thing really learning the technicalities of investing because my job treats me like dirt and its a public institution too 🤦🏻♂️
Yea its up to the person some ppl would want to work full time cause of the health care and benefits. However going full time at some jobs can be stressful cause the environment of ppl you work with that could be toxic. Sadly some jobs or hobbies you do to make money dont offer health care or benefits. Some will grind full time too cause of a good retirement when they reach a certain age but some will not take that chance cause theres no guarantee. If the person might live very long until that age some will just do the things. They love doing that makes them happy until the day the person passes away. Now days many ppl are investing there money and getting into the stock market or crypto.
I want to learn your secrets on day trading please.
I started swing and momentum trading about 5 years ago and should have enough to retire and do it full time in about a year. Good luck, hope you achieve financial freedom.
I have an option, to be a self employed non-w2 worker, email me if anyone's interested.
I just finished nursing school but I don’t wanna work as a nurse for rest of my life. I’ll probably work for ten years and leave. It’s hard to for work anyone because employees don’t get appreciated enough.
That's very true, being a Nurse is very hard :(
Work as a travel nurse. They make up to 100 hour. Work a lot , invest your money to make passive income and get the fuck out
You will get work any where in the world, nurses make a fortune in parts of the middle east, dubai e.c t.
I don't plan to work the rest of my life in my first career either.
Boohoo
i've worked remote the last 11 years, but 2019 to the present, my job turned into a sweatshop. i worked til 2, 3, 4, even 5 in the morning. some days, straight through. while people were told to focus on their health, i was running on 2 hours of sleep a night, gaining weight and feeling terrible. job - didn't care. they had the approach that i needed them more than they needed me. i was so scared - what if i go somewhere else and it's worse? i quit a month ago and they told me my leaving wasn't impactful. most people didn't say goodbye. all that time i didn't focus on my family or myself, for a job that truly didn't care. i feel so stupid for giving them so much of my time, so much of my life. in my exit interview they spoke of the Great Resignation as a phenomenon related to the pandemic, and something they just needed to get through. i explained that people don't want to be treated like garbage, but they just didn't see it. i hope no one makes the same mistake i did. these places just aren't worth it.
Omg May a fireball drop on them
So this means they had done their homework & it was expected
I need to show my parents this video because I'm so sick and tired of hearing "people are just lazy" or "wow I can't believe these people want more money to work at Walmart", come out of their mouths. They just understand that people are finally realizing that these jobs aren't paying them their worth and are looking for a better life/work balance. Just because some people live to work and are workaholics doesn't mean everyone should be or even want to be.
Also just because someone isn't highly skilled or educated doesn't mean they're not working hard and they still deserve a living wage.
@@harrygarris6921 the living wage rhetoric is very region-specific. $15/hr is well beyond good enough pay for many of the places I’ve lived.
Let me preface with this - I agree that companies who see an increase in revenue should be forced to increase salary for non-executive by the same percentage across the entire company. For example, if Amazon grows 30% in a year, all non-executives should have their wages bumped up by 30% for the year.
However, the arguments that fast food or retail deserve the same treatment as specialized professions is rather stupid, regardless the point of view. They don’t deserve to be exploited, but they’re low requirement positions for a reason.

@@tnt4457 yeah, how? Not everyone in the world can own a business realistically so what's another solution?
@@iheartjbgccb That's the only real advice there is under our current societal structure.
You don't have to exploit other people, for example I'm a sole proprietor, so I don't employ anyone. I dropped about 3k into starting up a service, and it paid for itself in the first month.
Now I don't need to have a boss, or an owner extracting my labor, ever again.
The "other solution" you're referring to has to be in the form of systemic change, where workers all share ownership of their work, rather than a capitalist reaping the lion's share of the profit.

Honestly every time i hear a story about being employed in the US it makes me so glad I'm from Ireland
We don't even have that many worker protections compared to many european countries but it seems infinitely better than US
US jobs are tempting for the on paper salaries, but the hidden costs in lifestyle, health, anxiety, etc. seem way too punishing
You’re exactly right. Your list of costs is spot on. In the 90’s employers paid my health insurance. In many industries, labor unions help to create a better situation but now, labor unions have been less popular and they don’t really represent professional careers.
Its all efforts to maximize profits. If you're a hard worker that goes above and beyond, the employers start to think. They will think why have 2 positions when this guy can do the work of 2. We can fire the other guy and give the hard a small pay bump. Our profits increase 🙌
I'm working in the US right now and please don't ever come here. I'm heading ireland to check out about moving there. Corporate America is a leech
this is a common thinking, that your country is far more superior than the US. i bet Uganda thinks it too. a lot of fat people, junk foods, bad health system, gansta paradise, pollution, traffic, racism, homelessness, etc. does it matter to you, no, it doesnt.

When the new intern almost instantly got all the software and equipment I had been asking for over 2 years. Yeah, I walked. Funny part is he only lasted one year then went to work elsewhere full time. I was over due for a change as I was approaching the 5 year mark. My plans were to take 6 months off. Was not to be. Another company dug me up in the first week. Its now been 2 years and I am getting antsy to find the next great adventure.
I'm about the same 5 years is kind of the max limit then it's on to the next
In my last position, I never set boundaries so the company assumed I was always available. What a difference a few years of experience does. If you can, my advice to new, corporate workers is to set your expectations as a worker when you start the job. I work a salaried job where the mindset is, "be available if it is needed" but I set the expectation that I go on walks/runs at 4 PM every day. I do not answer calls or messages during the duration of that time and it has conditioned my department so well that when I was leaving the office the other day my coworker asked if I was going to run or walk that day. I also close my computer and turn off notifications at 6PM. Workplace fires will have to wait until the morning when I sign back in which is usually 6 or 7 AM.
So from 6-7am to 6pm, assuming your 4pm walk takes round an hour. Dang you’re still working 10-11 hours a day!
That's great you have been able to carve out some time for yourself but ideally they should not be expecting any kind of response outside of the working hours you are paid for.
And when you get to work on them fires the next day, you will do so at your own best pace 😃
this! im just about to enter the workforce and ive already decided that im going to put my foot down when it comes to boundaries. I've got mental health issues and im determined to priotize my sanity over ANY job since i didnt do it with school. Im in a secure environment though, i understand many people cant do that.

That's what capitalism is all about. It has a "capital" not "labour" word in its name. Investing capital (money) is the gist of it, not being a wage slave for someone else.

Ha! Wait for that recession to drop. People will be begging for crumbs.
I don't think Americans realize that life requires work in some form or another. We don't produce everything we consume and they want to quit their jobs?? Lol this won't end well.
There are many of us that work way more than 40hrs/week so it wasn't like some watershed moment or movement.
What about the millions of Americand that work in retail, factories, agriculture, food services l, medicine? Not everyone works a 9-5 in an office
what 40 hour week?! Americans, at least, do not have that and never had. We get PAID for 40 hours, but it is expected that you work more than that. Some way more than that.
The thing is this, we no longer have to be enslaved to an office! I found my true passion and I'm leaving very soon..Jobs, managers breathing down your back. I'm sick 😷 of.it I'm looking for a.remote job
Exactly!
When I got downsized for committing the unforgivable crime of being over 45, I was told that, "Our young, dynamic managers don't want someone beneath them with gray hair."
This might be partially true. But more than likely, they don't want someone with MY experience having any influence on the younger workers.
So, to you younger workers, I have ONE piece of advice to offer.
Never, EVER buy into the lie that "hard work pays off." It might pay off, OR NOT, if you are working for yourself. There are no guarantees that your hard work will amount to ANYTHING. But when you have a boss, hard work rarely pays off.
It's a big lie known as "The Meritocracy." It's often used against the poor, as well as non-whites and women. The idea is, "Well, if you were only smarter, better educated, more professional, [insert excuse here], then you'd be doing better." It's used to rip off workers.
And they will gaslight you as they oscillate between "work harder" and "work smarter." Because it's ALWAYS one OR the other that gets used as an excuse to why your pay hasn't gone up, while your boss got a 100% "performance bonus."
It sounds like the young workforce, in general, has a handle on this, which is good. Ping-pong your way by moving from company to company is really smart, and I wish I had thought of doing that, instead of being that dedicated, reliable sucker. With employment at-will, NO COMPANY is dediated to you. Meanwhile, they demand dedication from you, as if it's a one-way street.
You young workers are the future of the country, and the world is watching. I believe in you.
Haven’t watch the entire video but I left my career back in April this year. I had been with this large retailer for over five years, and I just had enough. The stress inability to have work like balance, the micro managing and being talked down to by district managers. Before I quit my job I was offered a promotion for an executive position, thought about it for a couple days and realized I didn’t event want the job I had. This will be the first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years I’ll actually enjoy stress free with my family. I now have my own online business.
If you’re thinking about getting out of retail, just do it. Seriously then call a therapist

Well there are plenty of opportunities out there. Go for it, but make sure you have a plan first and don't make it only an idealistic one. Good luck.
I hear that some ppl do freelance writing for additional income. Best of luck that sounds like a great goal!
Work for another 6~12 months whilst heavily saving. Move to get cheaper rent and live very frugally. Then when you save up a nest egg quit your job and write full time. You might generate some income slowly but not enough to live off, but this will offset the decline of your nest egg. Then ideally you will be making enough money from your new hustle by the time your nest egg begins to run out. The only other alternative to this strategy is to work on your side hustle after your day job, but for most people this is way too taxing and they don’t put in the effort required to succeed.
do it! no fear no doubt
Do you day job, save, and also write your fiction books after work. So you’ll have money saved up for months and you already have books to publish!
The only reason I don't quit is because out of 8 hours a day I only work an hour and a half. The rest is up to me I can be as productive and lazy as I choose to be. Office door is closed and nobody bothers me.

There is a huge different between quitting the force and quitting to find a new job.
I have been working full time for all of my young adult life, I'm turning 27 soon, since I was 19 I have had to work hard to survive. I am so close to quitting my job and I am beyond excited. I will finally get to enjoy my young life for the first time. I've never traveled, I've never had ME time or a down moment in my life and I am finally ready to take the plunge after a lot of saving. I want to work on my art, start a small business selling it, maybe be a contract artist for companies, I don't even know yet but I know I don't want to do a 9-5 anymore. I want to do something that I actually want to do even if that means working 12+ hours a day, at least I will be working for myself. And that's way more exciting to me than working 8 hours for someone else.
I'm 19. A manager at a fast food place. I work 60 hrs a week, stressed 24/7 but the money is ok. I don't plan on staying here long but I can't find the next stone to step to. Do you have any advice?
@@fowoppy6336 I actually just put in my 2 weeks today, and already feel a weight lifted off my shoulders!
I feel that, Man. My biggest advice is to start saving every penny you can. You hear it all the time, but it's totally true how life changing it is. Take just a month where you cut out every expense that isn't required whether that's going out every weekend, buying fast food, whatever it is, once you get into that mindset of becoming a money hoarder, and it will happen lol, you'll start to feel like a new person. The human brain is funny like that where it only take a small amount of time for something to become a habit, and when you save like crazy that will open up so many possibilities to you because you'll has more financial freedom, and you'll begin telling yourself that if you can do something as hard as saving, what's stopping you from doing anything else? Take more time off, ask for reduced hours, take a demotion, whatever you need to do to be able to start putting all of your focus on yourself. Don't let the job take over your life, that's how you get complacent, that's when days turn into weeks, weeks into years, and suddenly you feel like you don't even know what life is anymore. That's sort of how I felt. Work, money, it'll always be there. But life isn't about being miserable everyday and imo complacency is the same as being miserable.
My friend is actually in the same situation as you. He's worked fast food a long time, it's all he knows now because the pay is "good". He knows what he wants but he doesn't know if he's able to do it and so what's happened is now he's been in the same place in life since high school, getting kicked around at work, literally has a sore beaten body of a 50 year old man at 26, and developed a horrible sleeping disorder because all his brain knows is working doubles, go to sleep, wake up and do it all over again. It's really depressing and I am trying to help him get past that.
I'm rooting for you! I hope you are able to find that stepping stone, It'll come you just have to take the right steps and put yourself first. If you ever need to talk or anything let me know! I am always happy to be that person to listen or give advice. Life is too short to be a slave to the what ifs.
Won’t be any companies to sell your art to if there aren’t employees lol

The beauty of food trucks is that they can move around... meaning they go where the people go.
If more people will be spending less time at the office and more time out in the world, food trucks they might even make even more money. Especially at popular locations, and all day service instead of just around lunch and clock-out hours = $$$.

Got a job with better pay and 100% remote when all I wanted was 2 days a week so it worked out for me.
One thing I've learned about the system is that the more effort you put in to your job the longer you will be stuck in that position Because you have told your employer you're good at what you do therefore no need to move you anywhere. In other words NO growth opportunities! Keep that in mind.
Yeah who wants to return to an office I'd rather work remote!
I second this
True. I'd rather trade for a living and then branch out to create additional income streams, doing the things that I love.
With the way things are going, working remote will now become the "New Normal" for many years to come. You won't be going into the office any more than twice a week, depending on your company....I am in IT for s bank, and we have no plans to go back, none.

I wish I could quit. I mean, I love my job for the most part, it pays me fairly well, and I can work from home, but I'm almost 60, and the last time I was out of work post-9/11 it took me a long time to find a good job. Gotta pay for housing and my remaining debt in the meantime.
I work from home now doing customer service calls. I like it because I can choose my own hours and literally work whenever I want to and as much or as little as I want to.
It's not a very glamorous or prestigious job, but it allows me the flexibility to build up my arts & crafts business. I wouldn't be able to do that with a 9 to 5 job.
Plus, I get to take days off whenever I want. Work doesn't have to prevent me from spending time with family and friends and enjoying life. I'd rather do a "lowly" customer service job and be happy than have an impressive job and be miserable and at work 90% of my waking hours.
I’ve been having a silly battle with my work about letting me work from home once a week. Everyone else on my team has a regular work from home day once a week, but because I’m the only hourly employee on the team, they say I can’t work from home once a week. Working at my job feels like working for the matrix itself. Literally EVERYONE is miserable and ppl are quitting at appalling rates. We have literally HUNDREDS of roles open and hiring has never been more difficult. Wow. I was wondering why literally EVERY building where I live has a "hiring" sign. I'm glad people are quitting though because all these jobs treat their employees like robots. They need to learn how to treat us like human beings with a life outside of constant work before we come back.

This has been and should be a major wake up call to everyone living in a predatory capitalist society. What I mean by that is workers are not compensated enough for their work; work long hours, many lack adequate healthcare, maternity leave, even work two jobs just to make living wages. we do not live in a capitalist society that generates wealth, abundance, social programs, better schools, better healthcare, etc., for the working class, We are living in a system where a few people hold all the wealth made by the working class. This type of society has negative impacts on everyone, and is very similar to the cycle of violence. It perpetuates crime on all levels, mental and physical health issues, etc. This is not okay, and we really need to question what type of world we want to live in and push for that.
While you have addressed this from the perspective of a higher wage earner with a background in business, finance, and economics, I am addressing this issue as someone with degrees and background in the social sciences - political science and criminology.
You are a very intelligent person, not only because of you education, but your ability to think critically and recognize the big picture.

Great video! My biggest issue with my job is lack of opportunities to move to different positions compared to someone who's been there way less than I have and being a world traveler, I've been exposed to many things such as people living a rich life on low income as well as expats living overseas. Glad to see people are waking up!
One of the driving forces of toxic workplace culture is how employees never require better standards of respect and boundaries. The ONLY requirement I see people focus on is getting a higher wage. And I can tell it's been happening a long time because employers have a tendency to throw higher wages at people in exchange for tolerating abusive or just generally rough work conditions. I'm hoping this shift is positive but tbh I'm concerned it will also create worse standards because both managers and employees seem to be ignorant about what their needs are, and what would actually create a better work environment. Self employment, thanks to the internet, may be the best route. That's my plan.

Agreed with you, I believe that everything and everyone should just do both school and work online and not return back to places in real life because we can relax, work on our own schedule and time while still getting paid. Plus for many of us we save on money such as gas, and rent because we dont have to drive back and fourth to work and plus we dont have to worry about traveling and paying high sky rocketing rent. Like for example, I live in midwest and was doing work online from home in ( While job was located in California) and dont even have to pay high price rent in CA. When here in midwest can live for free and dont have to worry about rent or bills. This is a blessing. Plus not trying to sound anti-social or weird or anything... but it kind of sucks having to deal with and put up with people in the workforce and at school because everyone is cliquey, gossip, cut-throat, 2faced, backstabbing and dont want to deal with all the drama and BS. However, hiding behind a computer, dont have to worry about socializing or interacting with people and can avoid people easy just hiding behind PC.

“Screw you im going home “ I say that at work way too often 😂 and I guess what I go tf home 🤣🤣 and well I’m still employed 😆😆😆
