Neither DoI realistic doesn't necessarily mean better looking or higher resolution textures, alot of things in pubg look really bad, it's not that is realistic, it's that it's horribly optimized
you are comparing UE 4.16.3 performace with UE 4.19 performance. It's quite harder to optimize game in old engine engine, look at release notes in UE 4.17, 4.18 and 4.19. Please take notes ;)

why laptop players only get 30 fps on lowest ? i have to play on 300x300 to get almoast 60 on all epic settings and i get 5 fps i just love how i get 20fps on team rumble to on ultra low

I'm not sure why he said it that way. The command dumpticks does work if you type it in the console, and it will output all ticking actors and components to the output log. This works in editor and in gameplay.

Rime is running Unreal 4 on Switch.
Also, if iPhone 6S with 2 GB RAM can run Fortnite, certainly Switch can.

The Battle Royale mode took 2 months initially as it built on top of what they already had. The core game took much longer.

It's been stated before that Save the World will become free when it's 'officially' launched. Right now it's considered early access. It'll be launched sometime this year.

Epic game really gotta find a way to make blue prints as fast as native c++... maybe a translate to code feature? Also Apex is picking speed, because it's free, it reminds people of the of halo, cod, days... Apex flaw is that it cannot run on slow pcs. I say Epic game ready an FTP Game battle royale with only 30 players, smaller maps, single mode, tripples, duels and quads. at the lobby 90 players, give them 3 choices to jump into map 1, 2 ,3. If map 1 is already full player can only select map 2 and 3...till all the maps gets filled up. Also player need to have a default weapon.
Unreal Engine already has blueprints nativization, they are pretty fast nowadays.

Blueprint nativization does exist however the code that it produces is very human unreadable, includes a lot of extra state checking and is still very slow compared to the appropriately suggested prototyping workflow. This is why it is recommended in unreal development workflow to prototype in blueprints and then move the blueprints over to C++ classes manually once you have everything working.
Blueprints are a very useful prototyping tool. You are correct in the way that they should continue to be a part of unreal editor. But if you want the performance, consider having a msvc course, and follow the prototyping workflow model to translate working blueprints over to native c++ manually when developing your game.
This by intent by engine developers to encourage learning growth and proper design workflow with respect to easy access to prototyping for beginners.

Why call it significance when academic papers describe this concept as interest?
Glader simple really, each teams like to have their own formate to do things, this is an example of their own personal naming scheam that they feel is better in discribing said idea.
Sure, I understand that. Significance isn't a bad name at all. It's just some of the names Unreal chooses to give things always seem off to me. This is a great system designed by some of the most competent people in the world but to not even mention interest, a term used since at least the 90s to describe this, seems off putting to me.
Each team give a name to similar and even identical concepts. Some dont even call it 'interest', just 'optimization'
Personally I find 'Significance' makes a lot more sense actually.
Interest to me implies 'Active' whereas Significance implies 'Passive'. Depending on how the system works, it might make more sense.
If you aren't part of the team the naming convention issues don't really matter. It's getting caught up on a non issue.
