There aren't many things that completely stop me in my tracks but that wheel did. Kind of what I set myself up for by taking a £30 bike without thorough checking!
If you ever need bike stuff in the Bala area I recommend them... R.H.Roberts Cycles.. I think they've been established there pretty much since the invention of the bicycle! Also E-bikes Eryri if you want to hire.
