Bill Thetford, author, has a book called "Never Forget to Laugh". Just the title sums it all it up and I think of it every time a challenge comes up in my life.
The beginning of the game is you forgetting your in a game. This is required because it is such an awesome game. Pretending to be separate from all that IS.
Yes, I understand your point. I m not saying there are no rules, far from it. You should be a moral agent, obviously, and take total responsability for your actions, sure. What I m saying is, because I m an old woman and have some experience, that you young people should relax a little, don t get excessively anxious about life, trust me, it s a waste of energy. Have some fun, please. I know illusion is necessary for life, Nietzsche said illusion is as necessary as truth, and he was right.❤
To each his own. I am also an old women, and I never wanted fun without resposibility, I find "fun" in doing what I think is generaly useful (Virgo). Illusion is my foe. And I take advice only from people I respect on the base of their deeds, not rants - and Nietzsche really is not one I would trust. Anyway, lets anybody have so much of fun and the kind of fun they chose - I am not the one that will judge them. 😀
We need to challenge the seriousness often attached to daily experiences and maybe have a more playful outlook. The idea of embracing spontaneity and Zen's concept of sudden awakening adds depth to the discussion. Between anxiety and laughter, the different interpretations are intriguing with a valuable reminder to approach life with a more open and joyful spirit.
Right, but there is a difference between an approach of open and joyfull spirit and an anethical approach (I cannot find an english translation for this terminus technicus, its more of an personality disorder that just "unethical") of an emotioneless observer.
Well.. does it really mean that there is no acountability for anything we do - incl. for harming others - and that our unresponsible deeds with painful consequences for others have no impact on the further stages of the game for us? I rather think that the joke might be on us in some cases...
This is a nondualism channel. With that in mind, there is no "you" and there is no "others" - all are the same. That isn't to say that you don't experience suffering & pain at the hands of others, but that the separation between the two is an illusion. The aspects that inflict pain or the aspects that suffer pain are merely temporary illusions that will pass (e.g. the ego - it experiences pain and suffers, but the ego is temporary, forever changing; an illusion that isn't really you). The real you is the permanent and silent conscious witness always present....and there is only one conscious witness, which is everything.
@@aquacruisedb I understand very well what nondualism means. But from where we stand there definitely is me and you, and although the suffering and pain is a "temporary illusion", it is feels very "real" indeed. And I just do not accept, that the "only one conscioussnes" chose to create such an illusion, where there is no accountability for a malevolent inflicting pain on the "other parts of me". If you prefer to understand the ultimate consciousness to be a player who enjoys all kind of material experience be it ever so "bad" - its your choise. I hope you stay strong at the next temporary illusion of pain and suffering.
This message is CRAP! Those of us that were blessed with many talents and are multi talented aren’t going to lay down and let greedy crooks STEAL everything from us! (Parable of Talents is about being a GOOD Steward of the Earth and your life!) We are NOT going to bury our heads in the sand!
When you play a game, you know it is not "real life". Still, to be able to play, you have to abide by the rules of the play (which you freely decided to start playing), and you have to take responsibility for the outcomes of the play. In the course of the game you can joyfully win or painfully lose. One thing you cannot is to step out from the illusion/game before the game is played to its end - before you achieve the goal of the play. And in my opinion the more serious you take the game while playing it, the quicker you can step out from its illusion.

Greed and selfishness is responsible for all division and suffering on the Earth.

If you don’t take things seriously you won’t achieve anything
What is your reasoning for doing this? Why would you do this?
