So true for San Jose office! It's not just that officer who was ready to transfer out, it's just that ENTIRE field office is a mess. Stacks of files, angry grumpy officers, overloaded desks, rooms with tall piles in each one of them. They have high staff turnover and even supervisors don't stick around for long. What's worse is that a lot of H1Bs are concentrated in Silicon Valley and now have to go through interview process too. So, there is no hope for fast processing or even just a professional demeanor in San Jose. Good luck everybody! Don't loose hope! Eventually justice will prevail! Thanks Jim for your videos.
Terrible, they have to be more organized with this. We're spending a lot of money in this process and is totally unfair that they're making people wait for so long. I didn't have the opportunity to see my parents alive because I'm waiting on my status for so long 😥
Hi,my husband filed I-130 in December 2021 in California, by August 2023 the status says “estimated time 3 months until case decision. He checked in January 2024, status showed estimated time was 1 week to case decision. Then checked a week after, status says actively been reviewed till now we haven’t gotten any response 😢 we are young couples trying to grow our family. He has mailed and called multiple times but no response 😔 what can we do?

Good morning! Can you make a video on the next step? Our case still shows "being actively reviewed" on the first page. On the second page.. up until November 23rd, if you clicked on the my progress tab it said 3 months until. . . and the case is being actively reviewed button was highlighted but did not have the check mark. Heres the change, on November 23rd, I checked it. The 1st page remains the same. However, the my progress page has changed. Now it says 13 months! Below that, the number 3 step IS checked off and step 4 is highlighted but NOT checked. I went from 3 months to 13 months! I'm so confused. Ive seen many videos on "case is being actively reviewed but zero videos about when it moves over to "case decision".
How would I know if the officer handling the case is messy or neat? 😏 The case I am keeping my eye on is for a K-1 visa that got sent to California. I am on the East Coast.

Hey, my mother has entered USA on a visitor’s visa and her I-94 is valid till 04/22/2023. I have submitted an I-130 online for her and have got the I-130 receipt notice. I have mailed her I-485 application to USCIS which was delivered on March 15th. USCIS will issue me an I-485 Receipt notice once they start working on my mother’s I-485 application but that may take some time. My Question is, Will my mother be able to stay legally in USA after 04/22/2023 if she does not get the I-485 receipt notice till then. Thanks
