They said the sheild was made out of the strongest metal on earth not space plus thanos was able to rip the mind stone out of vision with minimal effort and hes made out of vibranium so i think hes strong enough to cut through vibranium

Here's another point that i haven't seen ANYONE on YT discuss or bring up. What's really crazy about Steve being able to take on Thanos like that is that he's technically not even the most experienced fighter. Thor is. Because keep in mind that Thor is literally over a thousand years old. He's been in many battles with creatures much bigger and stronger than anything Steve has probably seen outside of Ultron, The Chitari, and those beast things in Thanos' army he fought in Wakanda. Other than those three, Steve hadn't really encountered any monsters or people on his level (Except for Winter Soldier and Spider-Man). Most of his victories have been against normal soldiers. And the only other time he encountered Thanos directly, he knocked Steve out with a single punch.
I'm not gonna say Cap was on Demon Time, because that would good against his character. If ever he was on Demon Time, he'd probably not be worthy of the Hammer. But it just goes to show how dangerous an opponent he can be when he locks in.

u think it was bad in the films look at the comics it took a lot more of the most powerful marvel characters to beat him during the infinity war story. it took the avengers the fantastic 4 the guardians of the galaxy and i believe the xmen too as well as some characters not in those teams like adam warlock. but since that story thanos has been made many peoples bitch lol even squirrel girl killed him once

I think there's two reason why thanos cut through the shield
1. The dual end sword was made out of a strong material and was extremely sharp
2. Thanos was strong enough to break Vibranium. He ripped the mind stone out of Vision's body (his body is made out of Vibranium).

I keep forgetting that Vision's was made of Vibranium. But apparently so did the writers of Wandavision.
