Great point Matthew. I think the other problem would be the consistency of their drives, with as long as some of these guys are they might not be able to stop their drives on the greens they're aiming at.

This guy can make any par 4 hole eagle-able
This is out west in Nevada, where the ball travels further than anywhere in the United States, this is not your legal standard driver, and your typical green is about 20 yards wide. They wouldn't be able to swing this hard and control the ball flight. With a normal length driver and playing closer to sea level, the ball would not travel nearly as far. A 360 yard drive would be absolutely smashed in normal conditions with a standard length driver.
@@UTBaller22 This one was in Thackerville, Oklahoma (elevation less than 900 feet), but they did have quite a tailwind. Brian Pavlet used to say that any ball that goes over 400 yards has help (i.e. wind, altitude, hard fairway). Since their clubs must conform to USGA standards, where shafts are not allowed to exceed 48 inches, I think the low lofted heads have a bigger impact (no pun intended) on the distances they're getting (I believe Joe uses a one or two degree). I hit in a long drive event back in 2001 where there was a division for 46" and under, and another division for unlimited shaft length, and IIRC the unlimited was only a few yards longer under similar conditions.

There’s an interesting documentary on this... and the outcome was they cant hit the ball much further. Because of the limits placed on golf equipment design by the PGA. To hit the ball further they’d need “illegal” driver designs with longer shafts and bigger head volume.

I don't get why they dont have a longer range. They know some of the guys can hit over 420 yards. Should have around 480 yards to play with for the coming years at least.
I liked it better when they wore Zubaz pants and had mullets and they would yell after every shot.

bruh. thats dumb as hell, especially if you are playing with swing, some times low drives are better because they dont get caught in the wind and you play for distance on the roll. in any case thats like going to an actual golf game and being like "yo lets play off the bounce not where it rolls"

Corek BleedingHollow because they aren’t good? Yeah they can drive the ball far, they only make good contact 20% of the time. They just practice for this, hit is as hard as possible. They don’t have the control to play with the pros.

I'm a 60 yr old hack golfer, a little shit 5'5, 180 lbs. I can whack em pretty good, from a lifetime of playing serious baseball. not quite like this however. I did hit one 316, but I'm not a good player, hard game mon, hard game. Hitting far don't help your score.

They should be disqualified if they go out of bounds too. That way they are forced to keep it in play and the distances would be more realistic. Sitting up there just teeing it up without much regard for accuracy is gay

You know Bubba and DJ could hit this far if they put all their power behind a drive. They have both hit further than this. Tigers club head speed at 42 is as fast as these guys. Pga pros swing slower for straighter shots.

Bird Photographer it’s decent. I live in southern Alberta so we get hurricanes pretty much everyday. On a good day with the wind behind me I can hit it 690, but against the wind around 50 yards. But otherwise your numbers are pretty good
