I was only 3 wen Mel Blanc passed away. If I lived in Hollywood I’d love to go to his forever Hollywood cemetery. ❤ Other wise If I ever won lotto Hollywood would be 1 of my top trips for a holidays.
Imagine being tucked into bed at night by Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Speedy Gonzalez, and Porky Pig. Then a different set of characters the next night. 😆😂🤣
I wish he reprised his roles as the classic Looney Tunes characters including Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, Speedy Gonzales, Tasmanian Devil, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, Pepe Le Pew, Tweety, Porky Pig, and Foghorn Leghorn on Tiny Toon Adventures by reading the parts and recording his lines. That would’ve been Mel Blanc’s final performance as the classic characters before he died
Crazy how some of the greatest actors ever lived passed away in 1989. Bette Davis, Laurence Olivier, and Mel Blanc!
Don't forget Lucille Ball, and Jim Backus, Olivier actually died the day after Mel with Jim a week before Mel as well

What a legend, I grew up on Looney Tunes, and as an adult I still love Looney Tunes
1989 was a bad year for legendary cartoon voice-actors- we lost Mel Blanc, Jim Backus and Vic Perrin!!!
He was also the voice of toucan Sam, the froot loops mascot.
Before Paul Frees took over, followed by Maurice LaMarche!!!

My now voice is Jeff Bergman
Not as depressing as Daws Butler's death one year earlier.
Or even Paul Frees, 3 years earlier!!!
Why even bother comparing the two? A passing is sad no matter how you slice it. One loss isn't any more sad than the other.
