Don’t forget you can leave some stuff in your car like pack TONS of snacks and if u feel like it’s a lot leave it in ur car and Dallas can run out and grab them! So u don’t have to lug everything into the hospital but it’s there in the car if u need it! 💙💙💙 same with clothes, and other items
This is such a good idea!! Dallas is convinced he doesn't need a bag, but maybe I'll pack him one secretly for the car so he can grab it if he needs it 😂 Also extra snacks!!!
@@JadeTheLibra yeah I thought of it when I gave birth 2 weeks ago. Had to be in the hospital for almost a week! You never know and of course he can always run home but you’re not going to want him to leave you! Lol 😂 definitely pack a bag for that man! Haha thinking of you during these times, remember you’re 100x stronger than you think and your mind and body was made for this regardless of what the birth ends up looking like
Agree with this! Also have an extra pillow and blanket in the car if he does a sleep over or takes a nap during your time there. They never have enough cozy stuff to provide and they sleep on that chair that converts to a pull out which if you are over 5 feet is a struggle. Tall ghoul family here, just saying, LOL. Also as basic as it seems throw in a deck of cards or a simple game you guys can play, sometimes if you don't go quickly it can help pass the time. It's always like a survival kit practice because you may not need any of it but it's nice to know it's close by even if you don't lug it all into the room it's in the car. You're doing great!
Make sure you take a camera and a charger cord. Pads and underwear. Your pillow. Make sure dad has his snacks and takes plenty of pictures. His clothes.
I wore a nursing tank and a nice light cardigan for most of my stay. I didn't really wear pants, I just sat under the sheet when we had guests. The nurses will be checking you out to make sure everything is going well down there, so I just opted for no pants.
Yep ! Doula here and a mama of 3! I tell my clients and I also wore a light robe the AWSOME birth undies and a nursing bra :) Long sleeve is a must because our arms are always out if any covers , nursing ect ect :)
Not me jealous of a babies room 🤣 I looove the walls & how everything is coming together!! So excited for you!! Good luck you got this! ☺️ ps I saw bath & body is getting fall & Halloween scents for summer 3 which is real soon which means Halloween decor too 😭😆 soooo pumped for this year! It’s gonna be a good one, I can feel it 😋
“I’ve never known about something less in my life.” Ghoul…that’s a million percent okay. You can’t plan for it all, and we fellow mamas can help and will do so respectfully. 🖤🎃🖤✨💚✨
I honestly wished I would have had a gown/ moomoo when I had my twins it was hard for me to wear pants after my C-section that thing would have been a life saver, definitely a great investment plus they're super comfortable to wear
Thank you!! I just ordered one cuz I didn't even think about what would be more comfortable in case of c-section! If I don't use it in the hospital I'm sure it will be even more comfortable at home!
It's always fun planning the new arrival but honestly you won't use half of it. You won't want to even move or walk around......ya know what I mean!! 😉 Ask for Ice chips if you get thirsty, it's like heaven.
I just want to say that I was a 1st time mom when I was 24 in January of 1996 and I was so excited while packing my bag. My mom and other relatives thought it was funny that I thought I was going to have the energy to go through my little suitcase while in the hospital to do hair and makeup like I did every day 😂 I’m so glad I listened to them because I was in labor for over 14 hours and then wound up having an emergency C-section. I wore a long T-shirt material nightgown, slippers and brushed my hair, wore very little makeup…only cuz I had visitors that were camera happy 😂 My energy level about a zero. Lastly, back then, they used brand new little onesie and hat for after the baby was born. It’s good that you’re bringing options to bring him home cuz our son weighed 8lbs 5 ounces so he was in 0-3 months never newborn size. I 🖤you ghoul…can’t wait to meet little gremlin 💙
@@kkbrazelton 😂 I left that part out . I looked pretty good with a little makeup but, my issue was that it snowed 37 inches of snow the day before that so thank God my dad has always had a dump truck so he took me and my husband to the hospital. We always tell our son that we knew right away that he was going to be a wild one and we’ve been right so far ☺️ It’s truly a story we’ll never forget 🤣😂
I agree about the options. It might be a good idea to have a preemie size outfit as well. My daughter was told her baby was that size but when she was born, newborn were too large. We had to go out and buy her preemie to wear home.
When my sister had her baby she really didn't pack anything. She went into labor 3 weeks early. She had a planned c section. She wore a hospital gown the 2 days she was there. Her husband brought her clothes to wear when she left hospital. She didn't really have time or energy to take a shower or really do anything else after giving birth.
Dresses and gowns will be your friend for labor and after birth, at least until you're all checked out and have your first shower. During labor you'll be checked out often, may also need catheter etc. After birth having a diaper on..something easy to take them off and shower etc..if you do wear pants, something loose and then supportive the next day to hold your belly when you're able to get around more and about to leave hospital. You will want a bobby pillow for easy breastfeeding.
I'm not a mom, but I have three nieces... You definitely need a boppy pillow! Even at home, it makes it so much easier when you're nursing or when he's on your lap 🖤🖤🖤
Baby Gremlin will be the cutest pumpkin in the patch decked out in those outfits. Wishing you and Dallas the best and a speedy delivery. What I can see the nursery looks so good 👍
After having a baby, your cooter cat hurts real fn bad and you probably won't want pants. I would recommend bringing a tshirt style gown. Also, stock up on the ice pack Maxie pad things the hospital gives you. They are refreshing AF and 17 years ago they were impossible to find anywhere.
I don't know why, but I'm feeling bad for Neans. She is used to being the baby, but now there is going to be an actual baby there! I know she will get use to him, but she has no idea what's coming! lol
The pads and underwear they give you is not the best. The pads don’t stick very well and I actually had a horrible incident where the pad fell in the toilet and it was a mess. Anyway long story longer, my sister brought me some women’s adult diapers and they were were so much more comfortable and since I had a c section they were less restrictive. Highly recommend bring a pack of adult diapers and just skipping the pad fiascos. Also a comfortable light robe is a life saver.
Don't forget your pump the handheld one from your baby shower haul, To get all that liquid gold. So happy for your growing family. Best wishes to you guys and your both going to kill it at parenting🖤
OH YESS!! I gotta bring my haakaa!! Thank you for reminding me!! They told me they have the electric pumps there for me, but I totally forgot about the haakaa!
Usually it’s juts enough for babies lil lil stomach . That’s why they may live on the boob :) They don’t need much to be full. But the Hakka will a blessing at home . There is some new info that says just catch the extra of the opposite boob. Especially in the beginning. Let baby and your baby control the supply and demand . We say wait atleast 2 weeks to mess with milk supply if you think you lacking . Because 8 out 10 times you have plenty for your babies needs . We are all different and we don’t know what the demand until the supply is set :) Skin to skin like you said is usually all we need to get a good nursing relationship. We are so magical ✨✨✨✨ 🪄 Very excited for you . I always watch and never comment and here I am everywhere on this vlog 🙈🤭 !!
So exciting! Wishing you all the good luck/vibes for delivery. I wore the hospital gown in the delivery room & then changed into a nursing tank, comfy stretchy pants & a robe when we got settled in our room. A few things that helped me after birth-if the hospital has the dry ice pads to put in your underwear, use them, horde them & take as many home as possible. They help so much with the pain/discomfort down there after. Take as many as you can home of the mesh underwater they have too. Ask for a stool softener after giving birth, trust me 😅
Please do a video on all the things you DIDNT use after you gave birth.. shave ur legs? 😂 I love you Jade.. I gave birth and they sent me home from the hospital within 12 hours!
Probably not my legs.. not gunna lie... 😂😂 but my armpits 100%! There's no worse feeling to me than spikey pits 😂 Also, 12 hours?! Omg I wish!! They told me they're keeping me 2 days after the baby is born, so if my labor is long I feel like I'll be there forever! I'm anxious to get back home to Neens and get our baby settled in, so I hope I don't have to be there long!
Jade the peri bottle the hospital gives isnt the best. You should order the bottle that has the nozzle you can use upside down. Thats the one upgrade I think you should get real quick! Thanks for sharing the packing with us it was fun! So excited for gremlin to get here!! 😘😘
Thank you so so much for mentioning this!! I got one of those peri bottles for home, but didn't know the hospital one is less than ideal!! Definitely gunna pack my Frida mom one!! Y'all are life savers over here!! 🖤
Good luck when it’s delivery time! 🖤 The baby should arrive just in time for the Halloween decor hunts and I’m sure he’ll LOVE seeing all the spooky goodies. Especially the ones that move or make noise haha
It’s a good idea to label your bags so Dallas can help you find things easily while you’re resting 😊 my sister used name tags on each pocket with the list of items in each pocket.
This is all so exciting! It might be a good idea to pack a gown so when the nurses come in to check everything it will be more comfortable and convenient for you to not repeatedly take off pants for that.
I was in labor with my first son for 29.5 hours, and I remember being checked all the time. Another thing,ya might want to pack some hemorrhoid medicine, it's common for mother's to get those due to the bearing down.
I've really been enjoying watching the baby saga unfold! So exciting! I cracked up though when you packed a kindle. 😂😂 It's okay. I insisted on going shopping for the Indigo Girls album Ophelia WHILE I was in labor. What on earth?!? 😂 Today is my baby's 23rd birthday!! It had been the best journey being a mom. I wish you all the best. 💜🖤💜
Congrats! So happy for you! I try not to give too much advice, esp. since every situation is different. But 2 things I wish I had brought were my own pads (tmi, i know), just because there never seemed to be enough in the hospital room. Also, if for some reason you can't nurse, maybe avoid the pre-made "nursettes" (individual bottled formula) at the hospital, and bring your own back-up powdered instead. The hospital's nursettes usually have an additive called carrageenan in them, which helps them stay stable at room temp. However, my baby had a pretty bad reaction to it. My kid's reaction was misdiagnosed as acid reflux- until we figured it out. (Just for reference, this isn't some rare thing: carrageenan's been outlawed in Europe bc so many babies were having trouble with it.) Usually powdered formula doesn't have it, so we used that with no problem, with zero reactions moving forward. Good luck. You got this!
So I’d suggest compression socks after birth…if you’re going the whole compression route…I wish a couple decades ago we had that lol. All that fluid has to go somewhere after birth and with my daughter, I delivered with no complications but my feet were SOO swollen. And then a yr later my son I had to have an emergency c-section and still…swollen feet to the max. My friends who waited till their 30s to have babies when compression became a thing raved about it. It also helped the skin shrink back to where it belongs. That’s something they don’t tell you…the uterus expands from the size of your fist x100 to a basketball size and takes a few months to go back down completely. The skin can use all the help it can get to fight gravity. 🤷♀️ just being honest ❤. Also sooooo glad ur packing nipple cream! I was gonna say it if u didn’t 😂! It’s a life saver. Sending so much love and prayers and happy vibes for a smooth, fast, easy and healthy delivery. ❤❤❤ Edit: also! Happy Mother’s Day!!!
Now that we’ve talked about nips, You’re going to need breast pads for leaks too. I don’t know if the hospital provides them? It’s been a minute since I had my babies. Don’t forget your chargers ! Check the print on the front of your shirt make sure they are nice and soft or maybe a receiving blanket thrown over the print so gremlins face isn’t on the shirt art. It’s possible to cause irritation to babies skin. I think you did a good job packing, you are gonna be tired, sore and ecstatic! So pack accordingly. I’m so happy for you!
Hi Jade, I thought of something that you could do as a DIY halloween baby project. You could do, are you a fan of Batman Returns? Cause if you are, do you remember penguin's umbrella with the dangle ducks & other ornaments? The scene when penguin returns to the sewer & plans to kidnap Gotham's children. He pulled out an umbrella with dangling ornaments. Well why not try make a homemade music spooky but soft shape spooky ducks, shark & (either purple, teal or green) colour bat hanging above the baby's crib?
You're doing great! So think about it, best case scenario you'll be in the hospital for 48 hrs postpartum for a vaginal birth and 36 hrs for C-section. You're probably over packing clothing wise for the postpartum phase. The days will run together so you'll probably change into 3 different outfits tops. Definitely go the baggy option for clothes. You'll still look pregnant right after. Maybe compression leggings will feel nice and especially if your legs swell after. I really enjoyed packing compression socks and slippers of choice. But definitely go against a binder. Don't bother taking your own hospital gown. Your loose clothing options will suffice. You just need easy access for breastfeeding and fundal checks. Also takes tons of hearty snacks (definitely pack more) and especially if you need gluten free items. Hospitals sometimes have trouble accommodating certain dietary needs. You will experience the MOST intense hunger and thirst of your life right after birth and everytime you breastfeed. And some kitchens are not open 24/7. That happened to me but thank goodness I had my snacks. Overall you're doing great and good luck on your experience! ❤️
You maybe won’t use them, but I’ve always heard you want to bring writing utensils and a journal. just to write out feelings and thoughts in the moments. Or to take notes of nurses, medical stuff, etc.
After having two kids, I can tell you that you are packing way too much. I mean this kindly. You will not use half that stuff. I do recommend some gowns and very loose pants for when you leave. Also, you are not going to produce much milk while you are in the hospital. It takes a few days to build up and not enough time to be sore from nursing while you are in the hospital. Bring as little as possible when it comes to make up. I wish you a speedy birth. Hugs ghoul. Also, bring some disposable flip flops or slippers, because those hospital floors are gross and you don't want to bring that back into your home.
Hey girl you only need a hair tye toothbrush and toothpaste comfy clothes and outfits for the baby and slippers and phone charger..too many bags is guna be too much stuff at the hospital and for that duffle bag leave a little room to take all the towels pee pads and the underwear they give you at the hospital..I mean you can bring what you want but all that l stuff you probably won't need...just some advice and your husband should bring clothes for him and snacks and some money to go to the cafe or lunch room depending what the hospital has...I hope that helps! Good luck and can't wait to see your little gremlin!💚
It's nice to see you sitting in the nursery because the last thing I saw was you and your dad putting up the molding and then painting in there and I've been really curious to see what the kid's room is going to look like. The wall and the crib look really great + I love that Betsy Johnson bag. I'm an old person & Betsy Johnson is one of my favorite designers from way back when. Her perfume Pretty in Punk is really great too. I was thinkin' about it & I thought you were about due any day now. It's a good you're getting that hospital dash bag ready 'cuz I think you & Dallas are going to be heading that way in the very near future.
Don’t forget to take some Always discreet postpartum underwear! They’re way more comfortable than what you get at the hospital. Also some cheap flip flops to wear in the shower.
I packed a cooler of drinks to take in for my husband and me when I was able to drink the next day alo g with snacks. The drinks at the hospital get pricey.
I personally was too exhausted and in pain to do much personal hygiene outside of a shower.my son gave me a second degree tear so my lady parts were being held together with stitches.i got no sleep in the hospital because my sons nurses and my nurses kept coming in and being loud and turning on the lights when they came to check-in on us and it was never at the same time.so ask them to be considerate so you can sleep.
Honestly I don't think anyone wears bottoms while in hospital. Whether its cause you get cut/tore, had a C-section, & of course the 🩸🩸 aftercare paraphernalia 😅.
It’s so cute how you think you are going to sleep after having the baby… 🤪🤣🤗 kidding not kidding aside…. Must take items…are…. a multi plug extension cord, a clip on, goose neck, battery operated, light… a sleeping eye mask and some ear plugs. You may want to take a long night shirt… just in case you have sore, leaky, parts and it is too painful to deal with pants. Ideally you should have a small tote with pockets/compartments to hold and easily access items, like your phone, ear phones, chapstick, deodorant, mirror, wipes, ear plugs, glasses, tweezers, etc… to keep on your bed tray table. Jade I am sending you power vibes for your baby adventure. If all goes well you will only be in the hospital for 24 hours. 💚💚💚
Hey mama hey, so happy for yall and praying for a safe and healthy delivery. Don't forget to plan for soft stools afterwards. What is your poop plan? We don't want you to have to bear down hard if you have stitches or from meds. Thought you might like to go the prune or warmed prune juice route. Please forgive the 💩 interrogation but I'm a nurse. Hugs to yall! 🖤
So I’m going to be having my second baby in the end of July, so they do give you at the hospital SOME things but not nearly enough is all the aftercare stuff you will need for your vagina. I didn’t see you packing any dermoplast spray or tucks, where’s the peri bottle and extra large/long pads??👀 I’m hoping you added those in off camera because you are gonna NEED those items, I’m telling ya, and now a days they have these cold pads for your vagina from “Frida Mom” and I WISH they had these when I had my first baby 12 years ago because let me tell you my vagina was on FIRE 🔥 after giving birth, so I’m gonna be ordering me a box or two off Amazon here soon to have those ready. ALSO they will give you some big mesh underwear they will want you to wear those after birth, they have large pads inside of them, they are kind of like giant mesh diapers for after birth, those are nice but I didn’t like the mesh part personally so I’m going to buy some “Always” discreet adult underwear for incontinence, you can use them for after birth care or even heavy periods on regular period days, some women like to wear them to sleep in when on their periods so they don’t leak while they are sleeping, this is a genius idea I wish I knew about for my first pregnancy but now that times have changed in the last 12 years, I’ve lived and learned and will be much better prepared. So Freida Mom makes a great Peri bottle you can get off Amazon, along with the cold pads for your vagina, which I’m telling you has got to be the best invention I’ve ever heard of, and you can also find the disposable panties on Amazon. I do also recommend getting some dermoplast spray to numb your vagina and tucks pads for soothing. With my first I used a few bottles of dermoplast because I had to have an Episiotomy, and that pain was no joke, so anything that will smooth and help you keep your area clean like I mentioned above is a MUST for the hospital!! Best of luck and hopefully this doesn’t get to you too late before you have baby!!🙏🏻
Thank you for the pro tips - seriously so helpful!! I bought all this stuff for home, but didn't pack any of it for the hospital cuz most of it (minus the Always diapers) were on the list of things they provide... I'd rather be safe than sorry though, so I'm gunna bring all of my postpartum stuff!! Also, I hear the hospital peri-bottle especially is less than ideal! I got the Frida Mom one! Have you tried it? I should probably take it on a test drive before 😂
I would pack a pacifier for little baby gremlin! Make sure it’s the right size for him! Also I would bring a coloring book or something just to pass the time 😊 it helped me a lot when I was waiting to fully dilate. Chewing gum was also a must cuz they didn’t let me eat until my daughter was born
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this already, but just in case, some tips. First, since your baby won't be in the room with you except for feedings (usually), before they come to take him back to the nursery, keep anything that came with him (blankets, burp cloths, pacis, etc). I wish I had known this before going in. My kiddo LOVED the soothie paci and kept losing them, they're like $10 a pack. Second, if baby i snot in the room and you start leaking, PUMP. They can always put the milk in a fridge for later. Your breasts will do what they want at the most inconvenient times (like showering). Three, specifically if you have to be induced, get the epidural, don't try to be a boss, it won't work. Pitocin contractions are MUCH more painful than regular contractions and IV pain meds don't do a thing. It's not worth it, get the epidrual. Live will be much easier. And four, get as much sleep as you can between feedings. Other than that, enjoy your delivery. Hopefully it's quick and easy. Let us know what his first world reaction is, whether he cries or whatnot. My kiddo's first reaction was a sneeze, because of course they had to be "blessed" with mom's allergies to all things dust/pollen/certain scent related
You’re little gremlin is getting closer and closer to being brought to the world. I’m so excited!! I love being a mom, I know you will too. You’re gonna adore him ☺️
My husband wore his "Let's summon demons" tshirt for my daughter's birth, it was awesome lol Our more conservative family hated it but we love seeing the photos 😂
Many prayers and perfect vibes going forward for you and Dallas as you prepare for the most beautiful time of your lives. I’m sure Nenes will be excited as well!!❤
Hi, mom of 3 here. You won’t need half that stuff you will be in and out so fast. Your whole stay you will be in a gown until you leave the hospital. Can’t wait to see the new little guy. 🖤🧡👻🎃
Was just going to comment this! Yes bring anything you would like to use for photos. Name plates, swaddles outfit. I am hospital newborn photographer. Trust and believe I love when moms have things they want to use. Also the photographer will take photos with you guys and baby. Idk what hospital she will be delivering at. But our pricing starts out at 59 dollars.
My only advice to everyone is to take a night gown!! I had an emergency c section and only had sweat pants and shirts. It was horrible. So if you can take a dress and a nightgown juuuuussstttt in case. To go home in and to wear in the hospital. If you have him vaginally it'll only be like 2 days in the hospital total. With a c section at my hospital I was there 5 days total. So it depends. But definitely just think of a nightgown and dress! Also the babies don't know how to regulate their body temperature so I also recommend a long sleeve and long pants no matter what to take them home in!
You are going to do great mama! Love the going home outfits. Also, the part with your sweet fur baby at the end is so relatable. My fur baby is 15 and he scares me sometimes and I do the same thing, “you alive?” And freak myself out 😅
When ever i see the word hospital i think of bad things but it’s ok your packing There is no nice way of putting this but you will be in a lot of pain as your baby comes out I just hope your little family is happy and healthy and all that good stuff Also your hubby might pass out during you giving birth sand screaming at him with foul words from giving birth I think it would be wise to take pain killers anyways Good luck if you need it ❤
That portable sound machine is the best! My 4 year old threw it out my car window while I was driving and cars almost drove over it BUT it survived and still works perfectly!!😆😁
Where is Neens going to be while you're at the hospital? Poor little girl. Don't forget diapers and products to clean the baby. Good luck delivering the baby!
I'm not gunna lie, I'm SO worried about leaving Neens! She's not used to being away from me for more than a few hours, and she's been especially protective of me since being pregnant. The plan is for my mom to take turns with Dallas from hospital to home and make sure Neens is taken care of. I know they will do amazing, but I worry about the old gal! Anyway, thank you for the well wishes and I'll keep y'all posted!! 🖤
Being the youngest single auntie of 3 nieces and a nephews. You do what you feel comfy in. If you're comfortable in pants, go for it. My family only used half of what they packed. Better to pack minimal and not need it then not have it. Some hospitals it varies on what they do for first time moms. It helps they gave you a list.
@@JadeTheLibra A lil tip from a Doula and mama :) MAKE sure there is a meal for you after birth :) sometimes it’s 2:15am. and there is nothing available. And you will / may be starving . How ever it works for you , try and get that settled before labour :). Wether you call L&D and ask what food they have available for mamas after birth . Or you have a designated person to drop off at the hospital at any hour of the day . And hospital staff can get it up to you at any hour . Or Dallas can run down and grab it :) It’s always a good job for someone who really wants to support you , may seem like a little thing BUT that person will be one of your favorites lol ! The hunger after a 3am - 4am birth (well any birth) is like no other hunger :) Definitely snack during labour also . Even if they tell you not to . Just except that what goes down may come back up . That’s better than starving and no fuel for the labor of Labor :)
@@JadeTheLibra their nails are so dang sharp.. like little razors!! I think those mittens were one of the first things I needed out of my 17 bags 😂 and you’ll get the hang of the clippers and file! Don’t you worry!! It’ll all come naturally 🥰🥰
Hey Jade! This video got me so excited especially seeing the cute baby outfits you are bringing with you! I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with twins, and this video helped me figure out a few good ideas of what to bring…I plan on packing my bag this weekend since I was originally told they would be here by 38 weeks, but could happen sooner so I figured I should get prepared!!!
Oh, and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HAND/NAIL SUPPLIES, if that's your thing. Whole hospital, not ONE pair of clippers or file, hoo honey you live and you learn lol! Now granted this isn't "birth-related" per se, but hospitals in general. Hand lotion, tweezers, absurdly-small mp3 player.
Jade, how long u gonna be in there? Your so cute. When I had my daughter years ago, I didn’t take anything and was there 2 1/2 days with lots of visitors. So excited for you🖤
I gave birth 13 weeks ago and tbh I didn’t use 99% of the stuff I brought. I wore the hospital gown the whole time I was there. 😂 They basically provided everything Baby and I needed.
Hi Jade,Do you need to bring a shower puff to wash with? and face cloths? Or are they provided?..Im from the UK and we have to bring those items.🇬🇧 Good Luck! It wont be long and your baby boy will be in your arms xx 🖤
Love watching your stuff. Glad everything is going well and baby is healthy and home. I absolutely love this longsleeve you’re wearing. Is it your brand?
Bring your own pillow!! So excited for y'all. Oh if all goes well an you don't have a C-section you can ask for a 24 hr release the best choice I ever made with my middle an youngest Yes they will have post care pads

@@JadeTheLibra
He will definitely want a bag :)
Cozies and snacks for dad :) tooth brush ect .
@@JadeTheLibra You should definitely pack him comfy clothes. Also, a good pillow and blanket.
The crib rules!!
Love the Addams family vibe in the nursery and the Pugsley outfits!
Pack an EMPTY bag! The hospital will give you so much stuff that you'll need a bag for going home. Congrats! Can't wait to see baby!
I tell my clients and I also wore a light robe the AWSOME birth undies and a nursing bra :)
Long sleeve is a must because our arms are always out if any covers , nursing ect ect :)
Yeah I was going to say..gown, robe or no pants cuz you’ll be leaking, checked out, prodded constantly 😂😂😂 it’s lovely. 🤪
You're going to do a great job! I can't wait to see the baby come along with all of us for Halloween shopping.

“I’ve never known about something less in my life.”
Ghoul…that’s a million percent okay.
@@JadeTheLibra also after a vaginal delivery they want to check your vajayjay for swelling and healing especially if you have had a tear
It's always fun planning the new arrival but honestly you won't use half of it. You won't want to even move or walk around......ya know what I mean!! 😉 Ask for Ice chips if you get thirsty, it's like heaven.
Don’t forget the baby hand mittens!! Don’t want him to scratch himself!
I feel like you just announced yesterday you were pregnant 🤣 this time has flown by!
I feel the same way!!! I don't know where the time went!!
Just in case, don't forget to pack a pacifier. Maybe the black mustache one 😊
Hahahaha the mustache one!! PERFECT!! I totally forgot a pacifier!!
the 'stache paci with the stripe/pugsly outfit 🖤🖤🖤 this is too much for my goth auntie heart to imagine!
I was a 1st time mama in 1997 and I did my makeup before going to the hospital 😂 I looked like a gave birth in a rain storm 8 hours later 🤣
I freaking died of laughing when you asked her if she was alive 😂 glad she’s okay ❤️
Gave me a small heart attack 😰😆
Dresses and gowns will be your friend for labor and after birth, at least until you're all checked out and have your first shower. During labor you'll be checked out often, may also need catheter etc. After birth having a diaper on..something easy to take them off and shower etc..if you do wear pants, something loose and then supportive the next day to hold your belly when you're able to get around more and about to leave hospital. You will want a bobby pillow for easy breastfeeding.
I brought a boopy nursing pillow- it was super helpful for the first time breastfeeding!
This is such a good tip!! I'm adding my boppy to my list!!
I'm not a mom, but I have three nieces... You definitely need a boppy pillow! Even at home, it makes it so much easier when you're nursing or when he's on your lap 🖤🖤🖤
I second this. A boppy is very helpful at the hospital
I used my boppy all the time. ❤😊
@@JadeTheLibra It autocorrected to boopy... But you got it lol
I know she will get use to him, but she has no idea what's coming! lol
Been watching you for years! I'm so excited for you!!!
OMG!! Thank you for hanging with me all these years!! Can't wait to introduce you to the lil gremlin!!
We are all different and we don’t know what the demand until the supply is set :)
Skin to skin like you said is usually all we need to get a good nursing relationship.
We are so magical ✨✨✨✨ 🪄
Very excited for you .
Ask for a stool softener after giving birth, trust me 😅
This is the best advice!
And hemorrhoid cream, women can get hemorrhoids because of the bearing down, I sure did
Please do a video on all the things you DIDNT use after you gave birth.. shave ur legs?
Hey ghoul hey! My cat Lydia is 16 yrs old and is a deep sleeper; sometimes I poke her to check 😆 ps the nursery looks great!
Hey ghoul hey!! It's always such a scare when they're sleeping so hard! They must like to scare their spooky mamas! 😂
Super excited for you! Good luck in delivery! Praying for a safe delivery!
Thank you so so much!! 🖤🎃
This is all so exciting! It might be a good idea to pack a gown so when the nurses come in to check everything it will be more comfortable and convenient for you to not repeatedly take off pants for that.
Such a good idea!! I just ordered one!! Didn't even think of the nurse checks and also in case I need a c-section!!
yeah the first 24 hours you won't want to be wearing any pants. The nurses will check you down there every hour. And you will be sore.
Today is my baby's 23rd birthday!!
I love the crib!
Edit: also!
HEY GHOUL HEY!!!!! I'm so excited for you, Dallas and Neens🧡🧡🧡.
HEY GHOUL HEY!!! Thank you so much!! Big sis Neens is already such a protective big sis!
@@JadeTheLibra are you in labor yet

Awwwww thank you!!!
You could use Tucks hemorrhoid pain pads for pain relief down below
Hey ghoul hey love everything you put in your bags so excited for you both. Maybe spare nappies just in case of a poo accident 🖤🖤
Good call!!! Never know when the poo will flow 😂 gunna add this to baby's bag - thank youuuu!!
I’m getting so excited y’all we’re gonna be such cool aunts and uncles
The nipple butter doubles as a really good lip balm, btw. I use it when my lips get really dry after surgeries and such. Heals them up fast.
After you give birth can you do a video on the stuff you actually used?
He's here! Welcome baby gremlin and congrats Jade and Dallas ❤🎉😊
Have a blessed go time. My prayers are with you 🙏♥️
Thank you so much, Angela!!
I should probably take it on a test drive before 😂
@@JadeTheLibra I haven’t tried it yet but it’s at the top of my list, having a good peri bottle can be a life saver!
It’s almost time!!! Omg it’s going to happen any time now 😆👏 I’m so excited!!!!
I usually had find a word books when having mine.
Hey Ghoul hey!!! Good luck with the delivery and arrival of Baby Gremlin!! Sending positive vibes to you, Dallas and Baby G!!
Is she really going to need to shave?
Many prayers and perfect vibes going forward for you and Dallas as you prepare for the most beautiful time of your lives. I’m sure Nenes will be excited as well!!❤
Hi, mom of 3 here. You won’t need half that stuff you will be in and out so fast. Your whole stay you will be in a gown until you leave the hospital. Can’t wait to see the new little guy. 🖤🧡👻🎃
Dont forget about newborn pictures! In case you want a different outfit for that. You have a whole package to pick of newborn photos👶👶
My fur baby is 15 and he scares me sometimes and I do the same thing, “you alive?” And freak myself out 😅
Maybe things are different where you are, but I had both my babies in the morning and the hospital had me out and on my way home about 6 hours later.
Usually in the US it’s 24-48 hours after vaginal delivery and 2-4 days with a c section, at least where I am!
@@juliajensonI’m in the US-they got me out ASAP. Told me that overnights were only if there were problems.
When ever i see the word hospital i think of bad things but it’s ok your packing
There is no nice way of putting this but you will be in a lot of pain as your baby comes out
I just hope your little family is happy and healthy and all that good stuff
Also your hubby might pass out during you giving birth sand screaming at him with foul words from giving birth
I think it would be wise to take pain killers anyways
Good luck if you need it ❤
So exciting Jade. I love that you are taking us on the journey. Can’t wait to see him in his first spooky outfit 🖤
I've never been more excited for a baby's arrival other than my own! It's almost time!! I can't wait to meet baby gremlin 🖤🕸️🕷️
AHHHH I'm so fricken excited that you're excited!! Can't wait for you to meet him!! 🖤🌙
That portable sound machine is the best! My 4 year old threw it out my car window while I was driving and cars almost drove over it BUT it survived and still works perfectly!!😆😁
😂😂😂 this is the kind of quality I'm looking for!! If it can survive a highway and child birth, I'm sold!! 😂
I recommend Lansinoh brand breast pads and bottles.
Try to latch baby as soon after birth as possible.
This is so exciting!!!!!! When the time comes I wish you a safe and happy delivery, you’re gonna do amazing!
@@JadeTheLibra I'll keep you both in my prayers 🙏🙏
Hey Ghoul Hey!!! Wishing you a great delivery! Best wishes to you, Dallas and of course Baby Gremlin!!
Remember to take snacks for Dallas. He'll be there with you to every moment....
Don't worry, I packed enough snacks for both me and Dallas, but he also gets food vouchers for the cafeteria - that lucky duck!!

A lil tip from a Doula and mama :)
MAKE sure there is a meal for you after birth :) sometimes it’s 2:15am. and there is nothing available. And you will / may be starving . How ever it works for you , try and get that settled before labour :). Wether you call L&D and ask what food they have available for mamas after birth . Or you have a designated person to drop off at the hospital at any hour of the day . And hospital staff can get it up to you at any hour . Or Dallas can run down and grab it :)
It’s always a good job for someone who really wants to support you , may seem like a little thing BUT that person will be one of your favorites lol ! The hunger after a 3am - 4am birth (well any birth) is like no other hunger :)
Definitely snack during labour also . Even if they tell you not to . Just except that what goes down may come back up .
That’s better than starving and no fuel for the labor of Labor :)
@@Laura-ny4up i saw someone get 2 am fast food from a 24hour place after birth, may not be the best nutrition but i bet it was satisfying as hell
@@SkyBorba heck yea ! That first meal after birth just hits different!!

I hollered with laughter when u asked Memes ... "ARE U ALIVE?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😘🍄
I did this exact thing for baby number 1. Baby number 2, phone, charger, robe, toothbrush, baby outfit lol
You'll do great!!
