Kochadaiyaan movie is one of the best Historical movie watched ever, Sena character was young and revengeful. Intro of Raana in climax was epic. If they take up initiative on a sequel like Baahubali it would be the best of Indian cinema.

At The Indian Express critic Shubhra Gupta summarized in negative-"Even Rajinikanth, the one and the only, can't pick up a film and run with it, if it has the oldest, creakiest plots cobbled together from many books."
