Same here. I believe, the Bears will be a historically good team with a rookie QB… That’s if he comes close to being 3/4 of what Rodgers or Mahomes are. Since those are his comps. Defense was #1 from week 8-17 last season. Detroit was in there twice and Bears should’ve beat them twice. 2024 is about to get crazy….
I believe it cause its easily making everybody happy Dj gets MHJ ,Caleb gets 3 pro bowl receivers & a above aver RB with a solid o line, Keenan feels wanted, all defensive leaders are paid plus Flus gets a another chance to show his full potential with that new Roster

Let’s say Arizona is the trade partner. We’re asking for #4 & #27. We offer 9/75/122 and next years 1st/2nd. Arizona ends up with a Pick Swap for all intents and purposes…..4 & 27 for 9 & 2025 1st with 75, 122, and a 2025 2nd to tip the scales? If I’m AZ, I’m at least asking for that other 2025 2nd.
He didn’t say he wanted to play with the colts, they asked him how he felt about being in that stadium and he said he wishes he was playing in the stadium instead of being the combine thing.
To be on the safe side I'd try and trade up to # 4 to get MHJ. I'd give up both 2025 2nd round picks to move up. A hefty price, but he's the real deal.

I am so stingy when it comes to draft picks. I love MHJ but the idea of giving up a first next year makes me ill. Yes, Marvin is the best WR this year, but Odunze and Nabers are not far behind and will be great in their own right. I just really struggle to deem that loss of draft capital as being worth wild. This would also mean that our Defensive Line is still going to have issues and we wouldn't have a first round pick next year to have a better chance of filling that need. I wouldn't do it personally, but if it happens I won't complain that we have MHJ either.

I don't see MHJ falling below the Cardinals. I suspect Phoenix would be looking for a haul for the 4th draft pick. They will demand just as much or more as the Pats @ 3 and the chance @ Drake Maye or MHJ. But, I'd be happy for the Bears if Rome, or Malik falls to #9 too.

My hope for year one for Caleb is win 11. There is nothing I want more than for him to win more games in year one than Fields won in three.
Bears are in for a NFL historic season by any rookie QB ever. I can feel it. This season gives me 2018 vibes and I knew that year they’d be great. But Fields went through a full rebuild after 2021 (rookie year) so not sure why you’d say that. Bears clearly just are wrapping up a rebuild, they’re stacked on offense and defense for any QB to be great..

If you were Marvin, what would you want to do? You want to go in the top 10, but you don’t want to go to a train wreck. So then it comes down to who is seriously considering taking him. So not, Washington, probably not the Pats and he probably didn’t pick up the phone when they called. In fact it seems he started doing that at the combine. Trying to fly under the radar. So you have Arizona, who he worked out for. Maybe he is ok with that, but maybe they like a Nabers better. Chargers? What if the Chargers are not looking for a WR in round 1? What if they never called him? That leaves the Giants, Titans, Atlanta. He does not want to go to the hot mess that is NY, Titans? Eh. Atlanta would probably love him, but, he isn’t calling them back. Maybe they are focused on defense anyway. That’s leaves the Bears.
