Thanks so much this really helped because I was so confused using these wall anchors and couldn't find much help anywhere else on the internet! I watched your other wall anchor video too!
That was (truly) very interesting Mr Our House - as not being a "handy-man" myself, I had actually never heard of a floating shelf before... So just curious if in the next video, you could do the "floating carpet" - you know - like the one that Aladdin uses, hahahaha
Appreciate the support thanks Adam. It's easier to give you the link to the range of Wall Anchors so you can compare them all. You should hopefully find all the information you need. Cheers. ramset.com.au/Product/Detail/86/Hollow-Wall-Anchors
I’m having a real nightmare with putting up my floating shelves esp in the past but saw a few videos with the anchors using a setting tool and thought brilliant so went and ordered a set inc setting tool and anchors and went all out and bought an extra box of different sized anchors. My problem is, every single one of the anchors I’ve put up the screws just keep spinning out so doesn’t secure the frame properly… Please help?? I’ve been putting holes all over my house because of testing all the different sizes but they all just spin out. 😭😫🤯lol.
@@GR8Tmate No! The blinking things wouldn’t stop spinning no matter what I did or tried. I mean perfect for everything else bar floating shelves lol. Silver lining though. I bought and used those (shoot, forget the name lol) but you push the silver bit through the hole and when you screw that bit flattens out behind the wall creating tension and tightening which turned out to be perfect for floating shelves 😅lol but my god, thank you so much for remembering and reaching out. Definitely put a wee smile on my face, thank you! I hope all is well with yourself!? Graham 😊
@@grahamscott1547 All good my end Graham. Yes you definitely need the little tool to apply the fasteners or they will spin and tear the gyprock. I’m happy to have one of them because I’d rather use these around the house to hang pictures, hooks and just about anything else. Have a good weekend friend 😂
Thanks for another great video. Liked 👍🏼
Cheers from Tassie.
@@GR8Tmate A wee like 👍🏼 to get you started from me. Hehe. Graham 😉

Thanks for the kind words SingleRacer. 👍
Very helpful video. What thread size are your 8-13mm wall anchors? M5 with 9mm drill bit?
