It did at the time this cultural norm was in place. Some things that were mentioned were cultural and subject to change (ie. Veils for women, length of hair for men), others were eternal in nature and remain regardless of culture (ie. The role of men and women in the church and in the family). - MM
I find it interesting that all throughout the New testament speaks of how we're in a spiritual war and Paul says that women are to cover because of the angels. Ephesians 3:10 says that God is using the church to display his infinite wisdom to the spiritual realm. But yet it just has to be cultural because there's just no way we would do that today

Since the scripture in Corinthians that applies to women then does Corinthian 11:14 apply to men??
