I would have advised her not to bring up "loving parents.". Instead, use self-compassion practice as a meditation. Ruined the experience. Was about to send this to my friends... How??? Their "loving parents," abused and neglected them - especially emotionally. She's well-intentioned, but clueless that not everyone grew up as she did.
