Hello. Mix baking soda, jiffy cornbread mix, and a little bit of cheese. Put scoops in various parts of your home. The mice can not digest the baking soda and they will die. A lot of farmers use this trick and it works perfectly. Most importantly, it will not be toxic to your dog or any other animals.
Good morning 7Sigma. Yall are funnnyyy! Regarding the mouse situation, I purchased some property with a house already on it, only to find out later that it had mice. I used some TomCat glue traps from Walmart. The mice would step on it and could not escape. The more they struggled, the stucker they got. I would check the trap, see 'em stuck there. pick up the trap and throw it a trash bag. It worked quickly and efficiently. Just a suggestion in case you feel your current traps are missing mice. Otherwise, I love your videos. You have a very nice piece of property there.
That is a nice view from the vortex....you should build a home up there eventually. And it was at this point of the video I noticed the dog was not there LOL guess he did like dealing with that leash. That cow poop will make great fertilizer for when you do a garden! Nice property!!
Ya'll had me crackin up on this one lol That tree that has the growth on it, it's called a burl. If you ever have to cut that tree down or it dies then save that piece and have it cut into boards. It's some of the most beautiful figuring in there. It's really gorgeous wood. That crap metal panel is like finding gold, I would salvage that and use it for small building projects. You can use it for roof material on a pump house or a to cover wood stacks, or use it for making raised beds for gardening. Those panels are hi dorrah. I would really like to see the spring, if you have a year round fresh water source that is a HUGE advantage. You could build a spring house and use it not only for fresh water but also for a cool place for storing food stores if you can secure it.
Yeah man...I tried to make it back to the spring for you, but my back and knees wouldn't let me...lol. My son and I will take the hike back there soon and we'll get some footage. So be ready when I call you for advice on the what and how of a spring house cause I have absolutely no clue(like I didn't even think of using the scrap metal for other purposes, or what a burl is...lol). As usual..thanks for the great counsel my brother!!! We really appreciate you man!
@@7sigmaoff-grid You bet brother. Honestly I don't know much about Spring house construction but I have seen other UA-camrs that have built them and they praise them for like root storage etc. I can see how that would work with the water coming up being so cold. Plus you won;t get better water. I would LOVE to have a natural spring on my property but unfortunately I have no natural water source here. I have a dry creek which is really just a run off when it rains but thats it 😞 I am looking to try and move to get more land so I can be as far away from people as I can get and a natural water source is a must for me. But yeah that scrap sheet metal is a good bonus! Also with you having so much rock you can use that in construction, especially if you build a house you can use some of the natural rock to make a fireplace that would look so cool, hard work but big pay off. You guys are moving right along, love the view from the location you are wanting to build on, how cool would it be to wake up to that every morning. You have a lot of nice views on your property.
Thanks man! There is a 24 acre parcel nearby, let’s be neighbors. We can build during the day and have jam sessions at night🤣 Finally had a gravel truck come up yesterday and drop 10 tons for $876… better than to $2k quotes we were getting. Doing an earth ballast ground mount for the solar panels… going to be interesting for sure 😂🤣
You sure have a lot of land. I enjoyed the tour. I love the interaction between your husband and yourself. I really get my laughs in. Thanks. Perhaps one day, you all could get a quad vehicle to get to various parts of your land to check it out more....cause that is a lot of walking. It would be easier though if you had to bring some items/equipment along with you...maybe have cart that can be towed behind. Wouldn't it be nice to have a couple million bucks just lying around. Sigh...
SHABBAT SHALOM. I ENJOYED THE #MELANATEDLOVE HUMOR. YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL LAND. IT IS YOURS. I KNOW IT'S A BIG DIFFERENCE FROM THE WARM TEMPS EXCEPT TEHACHIPI VS. WHERE YOU ARE. WHAT IS YOUR GARDEN ZONE? THANKS FOR SHARING.
Fr. The Bronx NY Hi, I think another mouse ate the peanut butter after the trap was tripped & took out his brother out. Ahhh, 39 degrees is definitely coat weather for East Coasters. It is probably sweater weather, if that for Alaskans..😏 WOW, you all really do have a HUGE WILDERNESS ACERAGE !!! Thanks for Sharing 🙏💞🙏💞
Might be a good idea to put up NO DUMPING signs up & hide some trail cameras to catch some footage of the dumpers... You all mentioned a lot of animals. But, Mountain Lions 🥺🤯.
Thanks for the tip! Fortunately, the neighbors have abandoned their property and no one else is able to access that area. The trash they left was already there when we bought the property. Yes we plan get some trail cams up eventually...and yes we do have mountain lions which is a big no-no to come across...LOL! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on our weekly foolishness!
IF you have a spring and IF it “runs” enough, your water problem might be solved. Depending on the cost to pipe it to your home. If you haven’t already checked into it it might just be a less expensive option.
Someday buy a couple 4-wheelers with pull behind wagons. You should try and clean up the old dead wood lying around. Fire hazard plus you'll scare off the coyotes. You could possibly sell fire wood or build yourself a fire pit. In your spare time, lol. Nice property, when you move there full time you can have lots of animals. Chickens, ducks, geese, goats, build a pond. I'm telling you my plans...to have a barn full of animal's when I retire in 4 to 5 months. Yoowoo.
Please be careful with what you said about “violators will be ____” - if anything ever happens (hopefully never) but if you have to protect your place, that phrase can be used to attempt to prove “intent”. I would mute that part of the video just for your protection and feel free to delete this comment so it doesn’t exist after you read it. Nice protection though! 2A!
Smart that your husband is strapped. Safety first.
Y'all crack me up. He's funny.
Your husband is hilarious! Both of you together equal pure joy. I love your chemistry.
Thanks! We try to keep it fun😂
The view from the future cottage site is beautiful ❣️
Thank for the confirmation of the “Cottage”🥰

Love you guys spirit such an inspiration to our culture. stay Blessed.
Use window screen to get a good tight seal over the hole and around the pipes. THEN, use a can of spray foam to cover the wire screen.
Good tip…Wish I would have know that before . 🤣😂 Thanks Sir!

You need to build a tall chain fence because they know who you are and will act ignorant and continue what their doing!
You’re right. More fencing in the works. Thanks for watching 😊
