When i discovered it in game i was like oh bet ik what I'm finishing these guys off with Note I'm the kind of pirate warriors player who pays more attention to their animations then number of presses
Honestly this game portrays luffys moves in a more “realistic” way, for lack of a better term, than the anime and the manga. I really enjoyed watching this, it helps conceptually understand how oppressive and threatening Luffy’s attack power and speed really are!
In the game, post timeskip Luffy goes in and out of gear 2nd exactly like the first few arcs in the New World. Which isn't the case at all in the anime where Luffy needs to fully be in gear 2nd to use gear 2nd attacks. But anyway, it's not a really big deal since he now goes fully in gear 2nd in the manga to use Gear 2nd attacks.

I was mostly referring to his attacks in general, pre time skip Gatling no gear 2nd is still really fast for it to look like a bunch of arms in stop motion in the anime and manga. Actually seeing those moves with a more real time feel really shows how much pressure he is able to constantly rain down on his opponents :)
Love this game even tho I also love bleach this game made me love the characters that were completely unused or needed more love. Such as smooth thick where I learn she doesn't just drain moisture but she can use the water that she drains as a weapon 👌 Germa 66 the scabbards kimimon kiku and Oden we get to see all there movesets and it really adds upon there strength. Especially kaido as he was sort of spoiled as his movesets would later be shown in the latest manga chapters 🤣 so I'm guessing oda told them what to put on there. Usually I dislike the beat em up games but as a one piece fan and seeing that there isn't much it really brought me closer to one piece 👍
Meh I liked the ps2 games and burning blood more, pvp and that one one piece carnival game on ps2, this game isn’t my type of game, you just fight dumb CPU’s, their way of telling the story and characters movesets is cool tho.
And people say Naruto is better than Luffy. Naruto will Neva Eva be better, Luffy went and trained with Rayleigh and came back with a whole fucking manual, Naruto trained with jiraiya and only learned rashen shuriken

His basic abilities are pretty well animated, but I feel that his attacks lack the impact that they have in the manga. His quick, light attacks are executed very well but his attacks that are more impactful in canon seem to carry the exact same weight as the rapid-fire attacks. Just something I noticed.
I think Luffy's move is entertaining compared to the others...pure speed, pure physical strength and creative although his DF not OP compared to the other characters like admirals & yonkos Edit: Ah, u got me Oda

Nah, the manga's panels feel very fast and impactful, it's just the anime is awful with these slow ass, low fps motion animation. on the other hand, if One piece fights was animated in the same budget and excellent cinematography level as DBS Broly movie, Demon Slayer Mugen train, Naruto&Sasuke vs Momoshiki, One Punch man season 1,... Then Luffy's power will look excactly like how it was supposed to be.

The one thing I love is how they show his speed like gear second he’s was moving so fast he was making an after image and his move speed increased it takes it a step further in snake man which is super duper fast which I absolutely love

Luffy's attacks feel like they have a lot of "oomph" in them.

Well because manga doesnt need to balance time with attacks which is essential for games
