Pakistan: Mountains and Glaciers, and a few other things

- early start this day with the jeep driver picking me and a couch surfing friend up for a day in the mountains and glaciers.
I'm using a different camera here so it had no flip screen so I'm sorry if some bits are a bit off, but trying to get used to this camera! left Kalam early and headed off and drove through some of the most amazing scenery and the most beautiful snow capped mountains and lakes.We literally drove through the glaciers never even knew there were such beautiful glaciers in Pakistan. we made a stop at someones home who kindly let me see hoe he lived, as long as I didn't video any of the women in the house he didn't mind.
made an amusing stop at the glacier where a bunch of local kids were doing whatever they could to make some money lol, the guns were fake but they were charging 20 rupees to stand and take a photo with an air rifle lol..or you could shoot balloons ,have some glacier ice with flavourings, tea and of course a joint if you so wished (not from the kids)
lots of hotels and camping areas popping up everywhere as you can see here, more so in the next video! highly recommend this day trip.My favourite part as always is interacting with locals :)

These guys sell freshly boiled eggs, particularly when it's very cold. A warm egg on an icy day can really cheer up the spirit! Wish there were soup stands too.

Not just in south Asia, but middle east as well. The practice actually came from the middle east.
