I have a bootleg DVD of the series and one version of the ending had the fan art bits show up when the giant kappa comes from the water and Digiko's pose in the last part if different. Dunno why it's like that but there's two versions of the same ending.
@@SuperCosmicMutantSquid I don't know about your overseas edition DVD, But in Japanese DVD, episodes of Season 1 ware devided into two volumes and each volume has different ED video. The ED you mentioned is included in Vol.1, and the other ED(this video) is included in Vol.2 .

This ED was included as a bonus video in DVD and VHS, so it wasn't be shown at the end of each episode and on air.
