We don’t undecorate until after the epiphany on January 6. Or in Italian la befana. It’s a magical visitor that brings mire gifts to the children

Going minimalistic for the holidays can take a lot of stress away (especially because it can be tricky cleaning around the decor) but I don’t think it would feel like a”Bellemare home “ without at least one statement piece and 3 accent pieces per room 😂 But I can totally understand how exhausting it can be if you are traveling a lot during the holiday season. Either way, your home will be gorgeous as always 🥰🎄

I would love to see what your idea of minimal is! Years ago, it was a Christmas YT thumbnail that attracted me to your channel. I was so intrigued by the contemporary furniture contrasted with the maximalist holiday decor! I loved it❤🎉❤

We switched up our decor style a few years back as an experiment. We went for a more serene vibe, lots of evergreen, gold ribbons, long white candlesticks. Very classic and calming. It was beautiful. I incorporated elements of it in future years. Remember, it's always okay to switch things up!
I ALWAYS do huge for Christmas. I build Christmas sets for a living. This year I went minimal and it was ✨life changing✨

I do not decorate my trees and haven't in years. I bought trees that wear flocked and I put a star on top of it. I like the minimal look and not wondering what my themes are going to be. Stress-free 100%

In Poland we also keep decorations and Christmas tree up to 6th January or we can keep up to February 2nd to Candlemas Day🎄🎄🎄😊😊

I’m leaning towards minimal too. This year I used way less and it felt so much cleaner in my home. I also felt like it was easier to clean up. I’m also leaning towards simple soft gold and silver mix on white next year.

I cleaned out a lot of old holiday items I didn't like/want anymore as I put it away last year, so this year's decorating was a lot less jumbled, if that makes sense. Like you, I also put things away according to their zones. I don't have clear bins, but I have colored bins that go with each holiday/season.

I did minimal this year, it was very hard thinking I am not putting everything out! But once I got over it, I really enjoyed what I did have and I felt having time experiencing a true meaning, even without all the things, it was a nice surprise. And you can still do a special touches here and there throughout, which is really nice!
I can’t imagine Angie having a tree with nothing on it 😂😂 but you could definitely do less and it still be your completely beautiful style. Your office tree is somewhat minimal! LOVE my decorations, but there’s nothing like a clean, bare house. ❤

Lil’ trick about how to store Christmas lights that I learned from a dear from after many Griswold moments. Use a metal hanger to figure 8 the lights around. I promise you’ll never have a “lil’ knot here” moment ever again!

We went minimal this year, sort of a rustic Ralph Lauren. Love, loved it…. but we have kept everything, and will, for a few years, to see if we want that look every year or just once in a while. I think the big future changes will be not adding tons of new stuff each year. For us, we found we enjoyed the season more, more time and energy for fun stuff, and relaxing in front of the fire. Can’t wait to see what you decide on next year. Happy New Year!

I went minimalistic this year. I absolutely loved it. In fact, it was my favorite decor theme ever. I was able to put everything that goes on my tree in just 1 tote. I repurposed a lot of items that stay out through the year by adding some ribbon, some berries and a few lights. It was a fun challenge to use my imagination to repurpose every day items and it was a breeze to put it all away. In fact, I loved it so much, it's my plan for next year. Of course I still have and love my chaotic Christmas collection but this was a very nice change of pace. I figure once I go back to my beloved collections they will be like seeing old friends for the first time in years and my time with them will be appreciated that much more.
I think one year going minimal would be a good mental break💞 you could do more travel vlogs or more themed food or DIYs idk I think Andre is on to something!

To go from one extreme to the opposite extreme ends up being epic fail..eventhough you aren't getting rid of anything.It might cause you to go out and buy more next year for your minimalistic look which is not what you are shooting for(more stuff to store) .From someone who used to live like you and now is a minimalist..possibly try a favorite tote to get out for next year.Or instead of going out and buying a small tree next year,store the tree that will make you the happiest next year towards the front of storage unit! BEST WISHES
