Wonderful time with Bangladeshi family in Singapore. Really Bangladeshi are all over the world is hospitable. Thanks to Dodo family. Love from Bangladesh.
Yes I also have nice Blangladeshi friends in Singapore . All nice. I heard you talking about briyani . My favourite mutton briyani at Zam Zam just across the road from the famous Sultan mosque.
Hey Dodos, it's nice to see you again with a Bangladeshi family. 💖🇧🇩 Mr. Shomel done a great job. Though he lives in Singapore for 25 years but He has entertained you like a genuine Bangladeshi. But wine is not the culture of Bangladesh, he learned it from Singapore.
The bomb shelter is called household shelter in Sg. What I saw is over the natural ventilation hole is the bomb fragmentation protection plate to prevent fragmentation from entering the shelter. It’s not a mechanical ventilator. During peace time, people use it as a store room. Some use it as wine cellar, or cards game room or mahjong room.
Hahaha Michael and Gigi giving up more drip content now that we miss their videos so much... love it! Wish they returned to BD and did some more adventures.
The Indians/malay and chinese struggled prior to Singapore Independence. My great grandfather fought and build this country with his Indians and Chinese friends. You should visit these household to understand more about Singapore and our culture!
Love from Bangladesh. Hey dodo explorers. Love to see you all over the world. And great to see you with Bangladeshi family. That’s awesome. Have fun. Imtiaz from New York, USA.
Your UA-cam channel is wayyy underrated. Your videos are fantastic, with a lot of detailed and accurate information for average travelers and you truly portray what life is like in the countries which you visit, which is better than any idealized or romanticized narrative. Also the banter between you two is funny and very enjoyable. Your channel is like a podcast+ tlc two in one. ahahaha I wish you much success in tours and vlogging.
From another fellow Bangladeshi expat in Singapore, this was such a wholesome video. Maybe I too will come across you guys in Singapore someday! Till then keep up the good work guys!!!
সোমেল হাসান @ Shomel Hasan,, one of my Junior,, studied same Institute in Bangladesh and worked same Department in jurong shipyard during 1996-99. He was NOT much public oriented, very much polite manner,, feel happy to see him after more Than two decade. STAY Bless,, STAY happy guys. If time permits tell him my name Liaquat Ali.
As you know, Bangladesh is a Muslim country and we don’t drink alcohol. Even Bangladeshi families living abroad don’t serve wine to their guests. U got an uncommon Bangladeshi dinner dawat (invitation). Food looked good. MashaaAllah. Glad you guys enjoyed. Bangladeshis are known for their hospitality worldwide. ❤️🇧🇩🇺🇸
Actually for faulty lights I help to do a lot of reporting during my night walks. Because there are so many other lights around, so there is no real urgency to attend to the faults. Reporting it helps to get things done.
Well I always tell my foreigner friends that in Singapore we have freedom of food. At Hawker centres, we just order what we like to eat, and we can don’t need to consider what my friends like to eat, unless we want to share food.
Miss u guys here in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 Love and respect to my fellow Bangladeshi brother and his lovely family. To Michael actually we love ottoman turks becos they played a huge part in preaching Islam in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.
@@arijitbagchi1192 not 'so very different '.....mughals were turk. Babar was from Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, kyrgystan, Turkmenistan, turkiye all turks. This is why ottoman didn't come to India and mughals had very good relationships with both ottoman and Persia. Also delhi saltanat before mughal were direct decendent of later ottoman turks

Not every house has bomb shelters but that is the direction. The older flats would not have it. Some would have bomb shelters at the void deck.
