3:16 Yes "Teh O" means tea without milk. Likewise "Kopi O" means coffee without milk. Any beverage said with "O" means zero or no milk. Another useful tip to know is the level of sweetness. The default - nothing said - means sweet. "Kurang manis" means less sweet. "Kosong" (literally means nothing) indicates no sugar at all. Examples : 1. Kopi - coffee with milk and sugar 2. Kopi O - coffee with sugar but without milk 3. Kopi O kosong - coffee without milk and without sugar 4. Kopi O kurang manis - coffee without milk and with reduced sugar
Malaysia, nice country, nice people 💖 the food looks delicious and energetic. I've been seen before that Michael don't like to waste food. it's a good character trait. too much rice make me sleepy too. now you need a strong tea or coffee.
this tip for newbie to malaysia or south east asia hehe,, for easy enjoy malaysia food or mostly south east asia food use spoon to eat rather than fork that how malaysian use to it, because fork are to small to grab the food and enjoy it hehe happy try ya

Micheal, you should try nasi lemak in every state. Different state has different taste bud so it will be different. Gigi cant handle the spiciness of the sambal...🤣🤣🤣...
lemak has 2 meanings fat & creamy taste. many people literally just translate "nasi lemak" as "fatty rice" but it's more toward's "creamy rice" as coconut milk has creamy taste.
the term ''lemak'' can mean several thing.. it can mean fatty or creamy.. coconut milk is very high in fat//oil Hench its classified as lemak.. a milk shake is also very lemak.. i hope all Malaysian takes this into consideration when explaining to foreigner what lemak means..
You got it right for the 'tea O' (locally known as Teh O). Literally, 'O' refers to coffee, Milo (chocolate drink) without sweetened milk. Another point to ponder: the ordinarily looking stall could be a hot spot for food hunters.
It may shock you guys of how heavy a breakfast can be in Malaysia😆 as you know, in the past Malaysia are agriculture country which most of the people are consist of farmer so they need food with high protein and carb for the energy because as you already know that Malaysia are a country with hot and humid weather so the energy consumption are no jokes so that's one of the reason why the breakfast are so heavy and now it become part of the customs😆
Wow Mic…for a person who tried nasi lemak for the first time you really eat like a pro 😂 Yeah why Gigi doesn’t eat and finish all the sambal and nasi ? Speaking like an expert 🤣🤣🤣

By d way, nasi lemak is d Malaysian national dish. It has a very humble beginning, a food for d peasants, wrapped in banana leaf. Only after d 1980s, I start seeing more food vendors selling nasi lemak by d streets all around Malaysia. Nowadays, nasi lemak is more lavish, paired with d spicy fried chicken, or chicken/beef rendang, or other types of protein cooked in sambal, like seafood.

@@kareemhasan6925 Yes, d nasi lemak is quite delicious. About your entry to Malaysia via KLIA, I'm not certain about d current requirements since 1 April when d international borders r opened for foreign tourists. My sejahtera application was widely used in d country during d previous lockdown, to control people's movement, their heath n vaccination status. If u r vaccinated, u can add this in my sejahtera. Yup this is the actual meaning, not fatty rice, fatty would've been gemuk, so nasi gemuk.
Can also call Coconut Rice
We prefer to eat nasi lemak for breakfast coz it's a simple dish. For lunch we eat lots more variety of dishes buffet style.

Wow best video sharing friend greetings know me from sarawak malaysia 👍
You guys should use a spoon to eat rice and cut food, while a fork to pick up something like that cucumber. It's easier to use both of them 😁

the power of the nasi lemak is based on its “sambal” different places different tastes of sambal. the colour is same red but the tastes is different.
Greenish rice is because of the pandan leaf.. make it more delicious.
