I am considering buying a pair of these. After a year, what are your thoughts? Do they stretch a little? I am hesitating between EU44 which fits just perfect or EU44,5 that gives a little space for extra sock layer or foot expanding process.

I love them. If you will prefer to wear thick or extra socks, size up. Mine are still perfect. They've shaped to my foot a little and are quite comfy. We had a very mild winter last year so I didn't wear them an awful lot but did use them some. I would buy them again.

Any comment on how these boots perform on hard, slippery ice? How about wet linoleum after coming indoors?

I just got a pair of these yesterday slong with another pair of their hiking boots. Looking forward to trying them out,
Ive got long narrow feet and had to size up for length, and their barely ling enough. And bigger and the herl would be sloppy. 🤷‍♂️ But still about the best ive found.

These boots are okay, but absolutely not for deep winter.. Shoes get cold in -14 with thick wool sock, cant even think about -20...-30

I completely agree with this assessment. We've been having such mild Winters here in Southwest Michigan that I didn't even get a chance to try them out in those temps. But we did have one day of -10 and I could feel the cold seeping in.
