If they ever going revived Brandy and Mr. Whiskers and have an episode with them encountered another dog and rabbit pair like them, expect the dog will be a male and the rabbit will be a female instead and go by the name, Randy and Ms. Cotton.
Sandy and Mr. Frisky are like a more likeable version of Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. Unlike Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Sandy and Mr. Frisky become real popular real fast by everybody in the rainforest, while Brandy and Mr. Whiskers are hated by most of the animals in the rainforest since they came. Like the animals of the rainforest prefer Sandy and Mr. Frisky over Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, despite that Brandy and Mr. Whiskers were here way before Sandy and Mr. Frisky.
Bill McDonnell can’t disagree with the animals. Tbh I’m trying to like this show more, but the protagonists have personalities which make me not really like them so much. I kind of wish either Sandy and Mr. Frisky were were the main characters or Brandy and Mr. Whiskers were nicer and less annoying. In this episode I kind of wish that they had the meaner version of either of them fall out of the plane... alright y’all get the picture
@@supercc4170 It's difficult to make interesting content from super nice characters in a show like this without at least other bad characters to play off of. There's a reason Donald Duck far surpassed Mickey Mouse in popularity: He has a plethora of character flaws which makes him relatable, but in the end remains likeable for his redeeming qualities. Which is a key point this episode missed, I believe. Brandy and Mr. Whiskers were much meaner than usually, especially Whiskers who usually isn't mean-spirited at all. Jealousy can't be used to explain away everything. Plus, in most episodes Brandy and Whiskers work on their own relaionship, which is why they have to be flawed characters. Normally, Whiskers is good at heart, but his general nature and lack of social skills tends to annoy others. Brandy is selfish and often admits to it but despite that still cares a lot for others when it counts, especially Whiskers and his well-being, and even considers him her friend despite how annoying he is. She realizes he's not doing it on intention and that he's rarely fully aware of the consequences of his actions. I actually really like these characters, but again, I find this episode in particular totally botched it.
Thurbo2 after reading this, I agree with you now. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier. Brandy always calls Mr. Whiskers her friends and in one episode, Mr. Whiskers actually helped Brandy Bring back her self esteem after learning that she’s a mutt. Also it makes sense why Brandy’s personality is like that due to her previous lifestyle and that she is in the rainforest Mike’s away from home. I would actually like to thank you because I’m working on character development with my original characters. This was advice I me. Btw, this might seem off topic, but in your opinion, how might the logic work between humans and animals in this show? It may be only a cartoon, but since Brandy and Mr. Whiskers had a history of actually talking to humans, and you can see in the final part of this episode Sandy and Mr. Frisky looked like they were talking to the man. Do you think Brandy might have the ability to talk to her owners? Also with the wild animals, do you think they could talk to humans but the people just let them be in the wild? Again I know it’s just a cartoon but thinking about this always gets to me for some reason 🤔
@@supercc4170 I haven't seen much of this cartoon in my childhood, just a handful of episodes as it simply didn't air around the time I was watching TV. But I can tell you that I was completely unaware that they were not supposed to be humans as "funny animals" or "talking animals", whatever you want to call it (i.e. like Donald and Mickey). When I rediscovered this cartoon a couple days ago I had a total "wait, what the f" moment when I realized they were actually supposed to be pets. I'm not sure what I thought about them talking to other animals back then, but it's still a little weird to me that Brandy and Whiskers have a tad more more human-like figures (Brandy more so than Whiskers, to be fair) and always wear clothes as opposed to the rest of the cast. I thought that's what differentiated them as "humans" vs. animals. I guess in the context of this show, it's just supposed to signal that they stem from sort-of civilization. Inevitably, I also think about these things, though in this case I don't care too much. Evidence would suggest this is a universe where animals walk and talk and can speak to humans; there's not much to work with. Unfortunately this is just a cartoon and the story and visuals a mere fabrication of someone's mind. Logic doesn't necessarily apply no matter how much you think about it. Also, as far as inconsistency goes - not that I noticed any inconsistencies with the internal logic of this cartoon, but just in case - then you also have to accept no matter how much you try to twist it right in your mind, fact remains it's all just coming from the mind of some author who either makes mistakes or doesn't care whether their logic is consistent or not. To add to that, this is one of those cartoons that runs with an idea that is mangled with real world conditions, when this mix makes zero sense in real life and could never work. With how evidently intelligent all those animals are, with how they can use tools, electricity and build contraptions and machines, there's no reason why humans would even have pets. Like many cartoons, it expects suspension of disbelief from its audience. In other words, they excpect you to believe that everything in that world works exactly like in the real world - humans are humans and animals are animals, sometimes pets - despite the twist of obvious added intelligence to the animals which SHOULD put them up to human level, but somehow doesn't because that's how it is in real life. You're better off not thinking about it, I already went way too deep into it. As I already said, it's a fabrication and an author's mind doesn't adhere to real world logic. It's similar to how most cartoons apply slapstick, much like this one. Everyone always fears for their life facing dangers such as being eaten, falling off cliffs, exploding etc., despite the audience being fully aware they're going to survive anything you throw at them, often completely unscathed, because it's a cartoon. Sometimes it's lampshaded and the characters may be aware of it. Not rarely this clashes with a plot that has a character "in danger" when normally whatever threat they're facing would just be a regular slapstick gag. The ultimate goal is to make you laugh and so you throw logic out the window in favor of your net enjoyment.
Thurbo2 I was thinking the exact same things you discussed about lol! And you’re right. No one should just enjoy the show and not analyze the lifestyle and logic between the animals and humans or their heads would spin. It’s more confusing than the time paradox. Other than that its an enjoyable show. Started watching that about two weeks ago from the time I posted this and finally learned the plot and learned that they were pets (at least Brandy). Actually, now that I’m thinking about it, it’s kind of like the animals in family guy. Domestic animals like Brian can fend for himself and once lived on his own, but he is still a pet. While there are some animals that live in the wild and can speak and there are those who are fully clothed and are very anthropomorphic
The first was Tiffany in "One Of A Kind" who looks a recolored version of Brandy and acted more like Brandy, but vainer and doesn't have a Mr. Whiskers type companion with her.
Brandy and Mr. Whiskers were in the Amazon rainforest way longer than Sandy and Mr. Frisky. Also Tiffany who was only stranded in the jungle for about less than one day. Yet, they're still stranded ever since.
That is strange, especially that bananas don't come from trees, they come from a tree-like herb. But since this is a cartoon, it doesn't have to make sense and everything is possible in a cartoon.
omg i remember this show!! i was always wondering what it'll be like when brandy, sandy and tiffany (the other dog) become friends when i was a little younger
I’d Still Totally Would’ve Like To See The Equistria Girls Enjoy Guest Starring On Disney’s Brandy And Mr Whiskers To Enjoy Hanging Out With Brandy And Whiskers
This is sort of a call back to the first episode because when Whiskers found a cell phone, he wanted to use it to order pizza; and in this episode at the mall, we can see him eating some pizza which reminds me of eating it at Sbarro’s.
Don't worry guys once I'ma successful & Rich entertainer I'll have a program that shows nothing but the Old Disney,Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network as well as. Other Programs like Horror & 80's & 90's stuff
This episode would make more sense if Sandy and Mr. Frisky were meaner than Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. That would actually give the duo a real reason to get rid of them. I actually felt bad for Sandy and Frisky when their treehouse got knocked away.

This show is so much funnier now that I have aged xD Good times good times
Bring. Back. The. Old. Disney. Channel!!! At least in the a.m's so that when the kiddies are sleeping, the oldies can re-live their childhood😂
Agreed but they’re too incompetent for that and want you to pay out the behind for Disney+.
Old disney needs to come back! :((((
Yeah! Definitely!

oh, I like to see some artwork of that
Now that’s some quality comment right here!
What would really be funny, is for Brandy and Whiskers to meet Ratchet and Clank!
@@TheRojo387 but wait, what if brandy falls in love with Randy and whiskers falls in love with cotton, what will happen if they started dating?
Never imagined Kaley Cuoco voiced in Disney before! Guess Harley Quinn wasn’t the first time we hear her voicing

If sandy and frisky got back to civilization couldn't brandy and whiskers just fling themselves back too? I'm just saying.
That would probably work. If it did for Sandy and Mr. Frisky. They would have to be smart and strategize everything.
how does a tree hold bananas and coconuts?!
