Yeah. Sadly casting has killed me. Minerals in Inno bases: sub 1k. Minerals in Snute bases? 5-10k. "SNUTE OVERCOMMITED HE LOST HIS ARMY AND THEY BOTH HAVE 1 BASE ECONOMY!"
That Serral vs Byun game. It wasn't long like Snute's but oh my goodness, the sheer speed of both players. The player who won really amazed me towards the end. Cheers John for the series!

Snute was great, but Disco Inferno now has a special place in my heart.
I rather enjoyed Apollo's commentary. It was more technical while still being well explained. I liked him explaining the decisions the players had to make or the positions they were put in.
I have to agree with TB when he said: "It's stupid that this works, but it does." about mass Oracles. That's just not what this unit was designed to do, and there's just no early counter to it in PvZ, since Protoss already has 12+ Oracles out bevore Zerg can get Corruptors. But I don't want to whine and complain to Blizzard to fix this, I hope the pros are going to figure something out.
I think the counter to this was constant early ground aggression before oracles hit critical mass - oracles forced to defend lose energy constantly, preventing them from counterattacking and slowly weakening them, eventually letting the zerg overwhelm. i remember it being done, but forgot which game.
nauk gnahz I would have to disagree. If you throw early aggression at Protoss to try and keep oracle energy low, you're trading units for energy and energy is free. Zerglings and Hydras melt under Oracle fire and if you invest to heavily in Roach toss will just get voidrays to support the Oracles until he has enough Oracles to melt Roaches too.
Favorite players to watch in this tournament: -Has -TLO -Nerchio -Scarlet -Neeb -Innovation I don't watch Starcraft much outside of this series, is Hydra still playing well? Special mention to Catz who was extremely entertaining in most of his matches I watched a while ago.
radgeRayden Is there a particular channel that hosts them legit? Quite a few channels I see pop up and spam replays before disappearing. Too bad about Hydra, he played some amazing games.
I still feel like Serral had the right answer against Neeb, he just didn't execute properly and Neeb had all the answers in return. He had an excellent spot that had complete control of two of Neeb's bases and his production, and he threw it away by walking units down a ramp one at a time into Cannons and an army. If he had held that high ground and finished taking out the production and the pocket expansion, he probably wouldn't have even needed to come back to defend at home; he has enough Queens to zone out everything in the air as long as he focus-fires, and enough Roaches to zone out any semblance of a ground army that Neeb has, while Neeb has just one mining base and what, two Gateways? Serral had nothing left by the time Neeb came back home with all of his Oracles, and then TB gushes about how fast 10 Oracles and Photon Overcharge kill four Queens.
Leap I agree, that the initial plan to rush was good, but I don't think the rest of it was thought out too well. I don't think he had any control at all, even when he got into the Protoss base. The Zerg holds the high ground and then what? He still has to go down the ramp to finish off his opponent. The Protoss was wise in destroying the Zerg production at the same time. Because of that, the Zerg was forced to go all in. Otherwise, if they stalled, the Protoss will find their last base and the Oracles will just destory everything across the map anyways. Meanwhile, Protoss has two running bases, and the longer he sat doing nothing the Protoss defense would only get stronger. Just as Apollo said in the aftermath, 'He trapped himself...'
I'm a complete noob at SC (I don't play myself), but it really seemed like he botched that attack. His attacks weren't focused at all. He started attacking the forge, then swapped to the pylon powering it, then attacked the forges again. Like, if you're going all-in, why bother downing the forges after you've taken out the pylon? Isn't it much more important to keep marching and take out, say, the production? Speaking of which, the attacks seemed to be really split against those starports too, with some attacking the nexus, some the forge, some the pylons, and lastly some attacked one out of three starports. Am I completely off-base, or were those pretty bad blunders?
@Leap I totally agree about, what you said. Serral simply shouldn't have walked down that ramp. And exactly the final battle with remnants of Serrals army was not a good example of Oracle's firepower. There was barely anything left for the Zerg.
Very patient play from Snute secures him the win. I think the game was over for some time before Innovation called gg though. I guess its always better to make sure you lost before accepting it.
Do you want more content in the kind of the Snute match? Checkout nation wars Norway Vs Russia Bo7 FInals. especially the amtch against Titan in part2. It's from 2014, so a bit olde,r but def worth the watch.
the Answere for Noob's Oracle BS is make Hydras T1 for 75/25 like SC1. With less dmg. That way zerg has some anti air early. Queens shouldnt have any attack. Even if Zerg makes curruptors some Void Rays mixed with oracles kills it!
Snute and his stupid long games. This is the SECOND time (that i've seen) where he wins after a super-long fight where the majority of his supply is in Queens 😂
Snute should just remove the e at the end, nobody seem to pronounce it right anyways. =P Great games tho, been a while since I've seen a mined out map.
and what counter is there? because the only one the zerg have puts them at a massive disadvantage what about making it so the more an oracle shoots the more energy it eats up over its lifespan then zerglings become a viable option as each target will increase the cost and zerglings are fairly versatile
If you are confused, the first minute and a half is glitched. The ptitdrogo match will play like normal, so don't worry. :)
Andrew Snyders thank you, sir. I was indeed confused.
And so it came to pass, that Snute rose up to the Machine and said, "I will creep you out of Odyssey!" And so he Did.
Snute always makes for some interesting games. Great to watch!
Snute vs Innovation, a new game for the annals of SC2.
Vipers vs. Tanks: the game
Yeah. Sadly casting has killed me.
Minerals in Inno bases: sub 1k.
Minerals in Snute bases? 5-10k.
"SNUTE OVERCOMMITED HE LOST HIS ARMY AND THEY BOTH HAVE 1 BASE ECONOMY!"
Holy crap, the 2nt match is one of the best ive seen in like......a year
Bah, always sucks when I finish each month's installments. Can't wait for the next already
I've had to start only watching a couple of the games a week just so i can stretch them out
@@TheCebarks Come back and binge watch them after work or school like I'm doing. These games are still great to watch.
Wondered why it was a 3 hours episode, then I saw Snute and then I understood
That Serral vs Byun game. It wasn't long like Snute's but oh my goodness, the sheer speed of both players. The player who won really amazed me towards the end.

Snute was great, but Disco Inferno now has a special place in my heart.
Maicon Berté Lol reminds me when Husky coined the Destiny Cloud Fist for fun. Hope it sticks :3
TB, I think you should reserve a pot for 'best player' or the players in 'best match' as a little bonus.
Sure, give him 1k a month to fund it.
This is one of the best Shoutcraft uploads I've seen. So many good games.
Innovation vs Snute was a great match.
I love watching innovation play.
TB Thanks for awesome show.
My brain exploded when I saw "Time" at the beginning of the video.
That Charge of the Light Brigade Reference lit up my heart. Poetry Biscuit :D
Sick moves by Serral, i love his infestor usage. Brilliant.
I rather enjoyed Apollo's commentary. It was more technical while still being well explained. I liked him explaining the decisions the players had to make or the positions they were put in.
snute vs inno was a crazy match, great fun to watch

A L I think we'll see it countered at blizzcon, if not before

WTF happened with the Time/Innovation match? Lasted for literally two seconds and then I see the next match with Ptitdrogo.
Rickbearcat it was a mistake, it started with the beginning of the last episode
Yeah, Lmao, they travel in time kappa
That was the first match from last video, so just an error it showed up here.
@Horrors Of War....Thank you for clearing that up for me. :)
Spoilers
Snute!!! Innovation!!! Casters!!! What!
What a game!
Awesome event as usual TB!
Its so weird that Innovation never got lvl 3 vehicle armor I guess he didn't notice but it surely would have helped him a LOT.

Hydra retired last year. You should watch at least GSL, a ridiculous amount of good games this year.
radgeRayden
Is there a particular channel that hosts them legit? Quite a few channels I see pop up and spam replays before disappearing.
Too bad about Hydra, he played some amazing games.
Yeah you'll find the gsl vods on the afrecatv youtube channel
Nerchio is amazing. But Serral is really made an impression on me in this tournament.
ByuN is fun as well in my opinion
I still feel like Serral had the right answer against Neeb, he just didn't execute properly and Neeb had all the answers in return. First I was sad that it's the last part of the VOD and then I was like "hell yeah, almost 3 more hours
Very patient play from Snute secures him the win. I think the game was over for some time before Innovation called gg though. I guess its always better to make sure you lost before accepting it.
Obs completely missed the game-winning play with so many worker kills, a perfect response
VOD confused me a bit when I saw that Time was back and they were acting as if he didn't just play.
I don't know why, but slow Zerg fights are my favorite sort.
Why in the snute vs innovation, innovation did not upgraded armor to +3? Any reason?
Only thing I wanted to see during Snute vs Innovation: Nydus worms.
There I was wondering how Byun would lose after the drops. Then I remembered burrowed infestors casting fungal where a thing...
Do you want more content in the kind of the Snute match? Checkout nation wars Norway Vs Russia Bo7 FInals. especially the amtch against Titan in part2. It's from 2014, so a bit olde,r but def worth the watch.
disco inferno, nice.
Such. Good. Games.
just wondering how did they get the price pool for th elast 2 games? did tb pay from his own poket or did blizzard throw in an additional 1k.
I believe the extra funds comes from the surplus funds from the warchest
Mass Oracle..... I don't think that's how that unit was originally designed to be used.
the Answere for Noob's Oracle BS is make Hydras T1 for 75/25 like SC1. With less dmg. That way zerg has some anti air early. Queens shouldnt have any attack. Even if Zerg makes curruptors some Void Rays mixed with oracles kills it!
so how do you beat the mass oracle style? :O
Serral did the right thing with nydus worm just didnt pull it off correct
Hey Mr Biscuit Great Show :)
Talk about finding your niche`, Inno is a beast on Shoutcraft.
Standard micro and macro builds, proxy barracks build, speed banshee builds. Hes unbelievable. Wow
So no Blizzcon Shoutcraft Kings?
why didn't serral just destroy all of Neebs buildings in the main? it sure looked like he could.
Moving down ramp was just stupid decision
why does time start the videos on 11-15 and this one?
AT LAST somebody wins as Protoss. Instantly declared OP. Of course ;D
Hey TB: Can the upcoming challengers see the previous matches to get intel?
Yup they can just watch the stream on twitch lol
I find Byun so much fun to watch.
Can't believe Serral pulled his workers all the way down the map to fight cheese. That's like something I would do. LOL
Does total biscuit not watch Korean starcraft? Infestors with fungal are the best counter to oracle play in current meta...
Snute Vs Inno aka a dragged out match between King Arthur vs the Black Knight from Monty Python
Serral vs Neeb... walking queens into cannons cause i dont like winning
Snute and his stupid long games. This is the SECOND time (that i've seen) where he wins after a super-long fight where the majority of his supply is in Queens 😂
What went on with the first few minutes?
Naenlor a glitch in time
There is no Skandinavian Rivalry, cause Finland is not part of it. Yes a quick fyi.
Did...did Time not get to play?
DiehardMechWarrior that was just a glitch. That match was the start of the last video
Oh. My bad!
BURN BABY BURN
Snute should just remove the e at the end, nobody seem to pronounce it right anyways. =P Great games tho, been a while since I've seen a mined out map.
Serral vs ByoN - Wow! What a fast paced slug-fest!
Snute is the man! :D
so op zerg
Wuuuuuuh! Ptitdrogo! I got that guy on Skype and he is awesome to talk to
Disco Inferno
Finally I see protoss winning something ... Neeeeeeeb. :)
Waaaaaaay too much terran, need to have some more PvZ please.
Problem is most of the streaks were Terran, so there's not much you can do about that because of the format
terran must have been too hard for thid pleb. go porotoss then.
AAaaa ptitdrogo, aka nosepicker :P
I bet it ended as it did cos he had one hand up his nose :>
Snute, ResidentSleeper
mass oracle needs to be nerfed, zvp is getting boring to watch
Crystal_ignition I don't think it needs a nerf. It just needs time for counters to be found and optimised
and what counter is there? because the only one the zerg have puts them at a massive disadvantage
what about making it so the more an oracle shoots the more energy it eats up over its lifespan
then zerglings become a viable option as each target will increase the cost and zerglings are fairly versatile
