- Day two on exploring the campus. I still have not heard from any of my counselors for Services. I am glad to have such amazing friends that will wake up at five in the morning to go with me to help me find landmarks and have the patients for me to get lost and verbally guide me back to the right path! So glad you’re touring the routes of campus. My daughter is a junior in college and she walked the campus multiple times to memorize routes before starting her Freshman year. It was very helpful. They also have a Starbucks in the middle of campus which my daughter loves to use as a landmark! She got lost three times her first year but all worked out and she feels comfortable now! 😊 She also learned to get to know people all over campus so if she needs help she can ask. Love your videos and happy for you!!
That’s awesome! I wish I was as brave as that. I’m going to have to get used to getting lost and problem-solving on my own. I know it’s OK to ask for help but I am terrified of talking to people. But I will have to do it so we will see how the semester goes.
