Was there about a week ago saw an older lady pull out a 21 inch sheep head had no luck there so we moved out to the surf side and caught pompano and whiting definitely have to get there early to get the spot
So I'm using a 7ft Medium light fast action rod. And there's many ways of catching sheepshead a few ways are by free lining with or without a few splitshots, using a floater rig, or some bottom rigs. but I usually use a dropper rig or a single drop rig which are technically "bottom rigs" They're both pretty similar just rigged up Abit different. Single drop rig would be your best bet or a floater rig Incase you feel it gets you stuck to much. With a size 2 hook and some live shrimp. Live shrimp is usually what's works best.
Single drop rig with a size 2 hook and about a 1/2oz weight on the bottom. And we pretty much string sheepshead like tht just because it's easier to string up.
@@alfonsomerlan6984 haven't really fished that area honestly but if you try any jetty in that area I'm sure you can catch them. The season for sheepshead is in so I'm sure you would be able to catch them out there as well. Just got to tie the Right rig for them and try your luck. Live shrimp or fiddler crabs are best to use when trying to catch a sheepshead.

Nice vid what setup were you using? Also why do you put the stringer through their eyes?
