This session is so random. Charu is simply listing a litany of complaints that frankly come across as weak and self-serving. Vasudhendra is doing his best but saying very general ideas, the usual grandstanding on translation, nothing new. Jeyamohan makes good points but he is given too little time to speak over the whole session. The problem is with the moderator. She is hogging the mike so much and not letting the speakers speak. There is no focus to the discussion. These litfests shouldn’t waste readers’ time.
A session on translation and literature going on and on about the market as if we are selling coconuts is nauseating.
There is nothing like south Indian as common..this culture is Hinduism and it is the central go to doing everything here..north or south,it is same
When did South and North start to mingle via marital relationships so say all are the same ! South exists from the days even before the aryan and the brahminic- hinduism traced in this world.
@@Sengathirchoodan Haa here comes fake Aryan incasion theory..u are talking based on false theory which is proven wrong..there is nothing like brahminical Hinduism..first go read study Hinduism and talk kid..Rakhi garhi excavation ,latest DNA study everything proves this theory wrong..tamil nadu has temples which is dated more than 3500 years old..indic valley civilization which is dated more than 5009 years old have Vedic symbols like swasthika, hindu God idol and shiva lings etc found from site..oldest tamil sangam literature, thirukural has all Vedic concept and hindu gods mentioned in it..krishna,vishnu shiva Lakshmi varuna,Indra murugan Parvati etc..father of tamil language itself sage agasthya Vedic scholar and hindu saint..same with thiru valluvar..here are the verses..Indra (kural 25):
ஐந்தவித்தான் ஆற்றல் அகல்விசும்பு ளார்கோமான்
