Today’s job is one of those jobs that we see a lot in crowded spaces and traffic roads of Manila-Street vendor! AKA the mani/chichirya/tubig vendor. 🙌

i seldom comment on videos but cant help to thank and be in awe of jessica's content. It's not something na not just for views or clout but it really is educational. It allows us to have a glimpse of reality ng mga kababayan nating pilipino na nasa laylayan.

Totally agree, her vlogs are worth watching! A good example of a good vlogger! Well - researched! Pinaghihirapan!
This is true, she and her team definitely do their research. And they're usually right on the mark. But if you look at the evolution of her content from a few years ago, it went from fun stuff that she personally enjoys to trending topics and videos that attract the most views. This isn't a jab at you, but let's be real here for a sec. Views pay the bills and most certainly are influencing the type of videos that are being produced. That's not a bad thing, it's just a fact of life. As long as people are enjoying them, that's cool.

Masarap at pamatid uhaw naman talaga yung paninda nila yun lang disclaimer na yung mani pala na tinitinda nung isa ay nilalagyan ng vetsin ba yun tas paminta as secret ingredient hehe tas sana pag namodernized na yung jeep eh dat same design kahit aircon, or kung tuloy na yung phaseout ay wag pababayaan ang mga drivers na dekada na pumapasada... yun lang! Always tuned in from Caloocan City!

Perhaps it''s because we usually take street vendors for granted. Worse, we underestimate them for not having a more "honorable" and higher-paying job. And worst, we often associate them with scammers, bandits or delinquents. "Bawal ang judgmental" best describes it.
Jessica deserves more followers and subscribers. Perhaps this is the most challenging trabaho she has done. Before, there were a lot of what ifs. What if she got bumped by vehicles? What if she got taken advantage by the vendors, pedestrians, passengers et al? What a relief that after finishing watching the video, she is safe.
P.s.
Kudos to the kuyas who were articulate, respectful and persevering. You changed others' views of you, street vendors.
Hindi kasi maunawaan ng iba kung ano purpose ng isang vlogger ...yung income at viewers parte na yun sa pagiging vlogger or content creator ..kasi hindi ka naman magrisk bilang isang vlogget kung wala ka income..iba kasi judge agad for content eh creating content is part of the socmed..so wala tayo magagawa sa mga hindi marunong makaunawa sa mga ganitong vlogger..

I always take the DLTB Sta Cruz bus here everytime I go to Lucban Quezon. I think from now on, I'll start buying from these bus vendors. Even if I don't really need anything that they're selling. It's a small thing that I can do, compared to how tough their job is. Amazing content again from Jessica.

Who wouldn't love Jessica? Honestly one of the best foreign content creator here in the country who is truly immersing herself in not only the food but as well as the culture. Walang ka arte arte sa Trabaho series and she does it well talaga. No heavy "bodyguard" just her and her team on the streets.
This is what I love about this TRABAHO series. Very realistic in terms of what’s really going on with these different types of job. I really appreciate Jessica and her team’s effort in doing and filming this. I for one learn a lot too.
This certain episode feels nostalgic too since I commute a lot before in buses and I always look forward to mani vendors because mani is one of my fave travel snack, so whenever there’s a mani vendor I make sure that I buy. Mad respect to all hardworking kababayans. Here’s to more TRABAHO series 🎉

Di ako naglalike ng mga video pero nilike ko to kasi nakita ko yung effort.. wala na ko sa pilipinas ng matagal na panahon pero nakikita ko pa lang yung pawis, maiingay na jeepney at daming tao, sapat na para maramdaman ko uli ang napakatinding stress na nararamdaman ko noon... I remember I wanted to go help my friends in Mexico work and my mom said no and I really just wanted to experience what they do for a living in the fields. She said I could get hurt. I was 13/14 at a time. And I just complained. Because I wanted hard earned Mexican money for my summer vacation there. It could have been a valuable life experience. I grew up pretty sheltered from the world so I wanted as much experience as possible.
