That happened to me once when I was a little kid. I woke up with my neck stuck to one side, it was so painful I was crying and I ran to my grandmother. She had no idea what to do so she grabbed my head and forced it straight really quickly and I screamed but it fixed it! This was in the early 70s so we didn't know any better. It worked though and she gave me a great neck massage afterwards.
Doctor mom and grandma always know best 🙏🙏
This also happened to me as a child. I was about 11 years old and I turned and my neck got stuck. It lasted a few weeks with physical therapy multiple times per week
No way, this happened to me when I was 12, just woke up and it got stuck. Was excruciating. Had to go to school with it, I still remember the pain, felt like I'd broken my neck or something. Lasted weeks too, I think I just stretched it out myself over the weeks and it eventually got better. Still have pain in my neck to this day though it never completely left
Just take a muscle relaxer and warm towel.
Now that's some grandma power.
He’s handling all that stretching so well 👍👍
YES!!! I would have been crying lol😂
It hurts like he'll until the doc does the adjustment

Omg it’s the worst. I wouldn’t even wish this on my enemy. The neck spasms are enough to make you tear up or cry. Wishing this guy a speedy recovery. 🙏
Agreed.
I hate when ppl say this bc yes you would 😭
@@smmrs5368 and how do you know that Mr I know everything?
@@smmrs5368exactly. There’s a reason why they’re your worst enemy. And of course you want the worst of the worst for them 😅
I certainly would.
I've had chiropractors give me a 2 hour of stretching and deep muscle massages without cracking me. Some of the most painful experiences of my life. Had me come back a week later after the swelling had gone down. Pure relief, these people work miracles.
i need this bad
Not once he complained about pain. How great of a Doctor!
I appreciate those kind words!
He's not a doctor
@@atech246No matter how long I live rent free in your head, it’s not going to change the fact that I am 😂
@KingofCracks lol I seem to be living rent-free in your head 😅 you wanna be a doctor but only made it to chiropractor ☹️
@@atech246you good bro? I’m guessing you’re unemployed living with your parents still. Good job acting like a c’nt on UA-cam though.
I attend chiropractic treatment once a month religiously. Best thing ever.
UGH! That’s painful but so worth the treatment. Loosing those upper traps from occipital and scalene GIVES SO MUCH RELIEF. It may give some nausea or a slight headache, drink lots of water. Repeat the session with in 3 days at least 2-3 more times .
I like how gentle he is with the client
Always 🙏

"Let me know if my pressure is too strong" wow... here I was called a wimp when I was crying getting my neck massaged once. What a good man.
It should always be to the patient's tolerance not the doctor or therapist
His voice sounds like he can do asmr
Wow, I came to the comments to see if anyone else felt the same 🤣💀
Put me right to sleep 🤤🤤
Made me wet
Isn’t it already considered asmr?
I want to see one where a drill Sargent dose it next lol
I need stretches like this in my life. I go to a chiropractor but I’ve been suffering for YEARS with chronic neck pain. When my neck and shoulders get tight it’s debilitating.
This happened to me all the time as a kid, and a couple times in adulthood. My Dr always prescribed muscle relaxers, and never said anything. It would get stuck like this for 3-4 days. It was horrible pain. I have not had an episode in about 15 years.
That’s why I go to a chiropractor
The tension 😮
Poor young man ..
Thanks to healing hands🙏🏼
This is a video that makes me feel better about chiropractors. Idk about the adjustments still but stretching is normally good.
I've had this happen to me a couple times. I can say it's painful.
Oh man this is honestly hell. I used to get this every 4-6 months. One late night, one wrong move and bam, stuck neck for at least 3 weeks. Sometimes I've had it in my back and I'd be stuck in a 90 degree hunched position for 2-3 weeks, and no pain killers did anything for the pain at all. Doesn't happen so much now cos o stopped doing RSI type tasks, and i invested in an ortho mattress, and i make sure to always get a good night sleep. But man i suffered this for most of adolescent and really adult years, upto the age of 30.
Very simple to fix. The stretching can also be done at home. Common cause being our crappy posture while sitting at a desk, causing super tight upper traps, levator, scalenes, and suboccipitals. Dry needling and heat help as well!
I love this method of healing❤
When i was around 19 or 20 i had this and it stuck around for a long time and it would start to feel better then i would retrigger it and it would feel painfully stuck again. I went to the chiropractor ONE TIME for that condition and he adiust my neck... It fixed the issue immediately and its been 15 years and ive never had it again.
That’s awesome to hear! Thanks for sharing
My 4 year old woke up and had this. The pain subsided after a few days, he looked funny for a week or two but eventually it went away on its own.
I love that you actually stretched first! Some of these videos are just too much to bear! Stretching is so essential!
Ive never heard of this and am blown away by how many in the comments have experienced this. Thanks for sharing!!
I feel like if I ran into this guy in the store wearing a "King of cracks" t-shirt, I might not think about him being a chiropractor. 😂
my baby sister had it when she was a baby, we did physical therapy for a long time. a few weeks ago she woke up crying because she couldn’t move. she’s 6 at this point, not still a baby, and she’s crying and terrified because she couldn’t move. we did stretches and she would stop us when it would hurt her. i wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy
I had a muscle spasm in my neck for a week when I was 7 in 1962. I stayed on the couch in the living room. Finally went to the doctor, he injected my neck with a muscle relaxant and jerked my neck and it was fixed.
I had probably been in a cold draft, that is what has caused a few muscle spasms over my 69 years. I’m careful now!
Thanks for sharing!! Glad you are feeling better now!
for some reason I trust this man....
I appreciate those kind words. Some of the best a Dr. can hear 🙏
His eyes🥺.... This poor soul. I hope he recovered quickly.
A continuation of this plz 😊😊 please
I fell down some stairs, and did the arm behind back, and stretched and my neck cracked, thank you
I've been dealing with torticollis since mid September. I'm seeing my chiropractor regularly and it's slowly getting better. At one point the pain was so unbearable that I ended up in the ER. The ER Dr was a joke. He told me chiropractor care was nothing but a placebo effect and that I just needed a foam roller. After basically telling him I was leaving he eventually gave me a shot of steroid and pain med and a prescription for a muscle relaxer that didn't help. So thankful for amazing chiropractors that actually do help!😊
I'm slow glad that you're feeling better. But if this ever happens, you need to find a deep tissue massage therapist
Thanks so much for sharing. Hoping for your speedy recovery 🙏
Please try Botox!! I have this condition and it helps so much.
Update: saw a different chiropractor for a specific modality - shockwave therapy! Between that and some INTENSE physical therapy (she basically gave me deep tissue massages in addition to lots of intense stretching) the torticollis is completely gone and has been for a few months. Praise the Lord! I was at the point, pain wise, that I was almost ready to try Botox or other toxic injections, pharmaceuticals. So thankful I was able to treat it naturally!
I worked with a woman whose head always faced over her right shoulder after she was in a car wreck. Nothing she did released the muscles enough to bring her head face forward, even after three years. I thought she was faking, but maybe not.
So sad to hear. It is def a real condition
I kinda want to go to Cancun now and stay at the Royal Sands Hotel. So weird
Honey why don't you teach everyone your special talents. That way we could have a "King of cracks" whisperer in every state .
I've had Torticollis like 3 times in the last 10 years and I just waited it out.
Dr Sayegh, I think adjusting the neck could give fast relief
This happened to me once but it was last year, I was 15. I woke up like that, and it really hurt, lasted like a week and it got less painful to move my neck to the other side slowly.
My daughter was born with severe torticollis. She went to physical therapy for a year and finally had to have release surgery done. She wore a helmet for another year to correct the plagiocephaly that it caused.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope she’s doing much better now! Prayers your way 🙏
@@KingofCracksthank you so much! She did phenomenal! She went on to be a state champion gymnast and very competitive in high school track also. She’s 20 now and in college. Even though she got off to a tough start, through treatments, hard work, and lots of prayers, she pushed through. It’s great to see this information here on You Tube. It was a lot of digging for me to get info back then.
I definitely need to go working on a computer all day bad posture, neck pain, severe headaches, it’s the worst.
First Chiropractor I see that I could trust
I appreciate those kind words
I had this in my 20’s. Mostly I could just deal with it. But one night the muscle cramped/spasmed and wouldn’t let go. I was in complete agony while my parents rushed me to the ER. My head was literally almost directly over my left shoulder. I was in the waiting room for hours and finally got back. ER doc acted like he was mad at me for some reason. Gave me some type of shot and I don’t remember the next 36 hours. Absolutely horrendous condition.
Had this as a kid. Literally neck locked up in one direction
My son was born with this. It's no joke.
I was diagnosed with spasmodic torticollis in my 20s. I'm now 65 and can no longer hold my head still without holding it. It's painful and impacts everything in my life from holding a job to speaking without my voice quivering to writing to holding objects in my right hand. It's awful and the headaches are frequent. Insurance doesn't cover chiropractors.
I have this also. I do Botox injections it helps so much.
My baby developed torticollis not too long after birth. He's a twin. During the pregnancy, he was stuck in one position. My poor babies ran out of space. Being in that one position for almost 9 months caused this condition. Luckily my twins are number 4 and 5 for me and i knew it wasn't normal so i got him started with PT very early on and now hes almost 1 year old and is much better.
Thanks for sharing. So happy he is doing better now 🙏
My mother had this, had to get botulism injections for 15 plus years. She unfortunately died of cancer in 2012. Is there a connection with the injections and her diagnosis?
Love the video! Great job on this!
That's crazy the first song in the video I also listen to. I can make your hands clap for any one that's look
Wow! This is such good work for a very painful and awkward position!
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed
The treatment was really satisfying and also the "one republic " Song on the background❤ big fan❤❤
Sir is cervical dystonia treatable like if the patient has bended neck on one side could it be fixed plxx reply ❤
He gave him a good neck massage and he liked it ❤😢
Oh god I got this as a teenager! Everyone at school called me Zombie for a few days and the PE teacher was very cross because she thought I was walking around with my head to the side just to get out of exercise 🤣🤣
Bro I need this BADLY.
Bros got stick drift 🙏😭
where's part 2? i love when they're fixed
If you check my shorts section, you’ll find it!
That voice is sooo smooth 😍
I wanted to say this was fake but you can actually hear the neck as he twists. I’ve had this happen a few times when I was in school. Mom still made me go
This happened to my youngest daughter she favoured her left side so her head was always tilted I had to massage her neck everyday for 3 months twice a day she was in so much pain but now she’s amazing thanks to her chiropractor
Thanks for sharing!! So happy to hear that
That guy is sooo cooperative 😂
This is the worse pain I’ve ever experienced. I was like this for about two weeks.
My daughter was diagnosed with torticollis as a baby, she was a preemie so I'm assuming it was caused by wires and the way she was turned in the NICU constantly.
Maybe ,but the congenital kind babies are born with usually happens in gestation ,at least my did, there is also a high chance with multiples do to space in the womb, some people are luckier then some, if found earlier in infant that get regular physical therapy they can correct the issue before adult adhesion set in, causing a life time of pain and instability and issue ,hope she gets better, just keep working on it.
Oh my gosh I had this once, it was the worst pain I had ever been in. Went to my primary and they gave me muscle relaxers and pain meds- said it would be about a two week recovery. (I couldn’t be out of work that long!?!?) went to a chiropractor and I was looking straight in 20 minimum and was back to work in two days!!! I’m such a believer in chiropractic
We did the PNF treatments and the spasm went away almost immediately.
Awesome, so glad to hear you are doing well
This happened to me once. Out of nowhere I felt weird so I called my aunt and told her something was wrong. By the time she got to my house, I was screaming from the pain of my neck being stuck. There were no warning signs other than my body feeling weird. Then that’s when the spasm hit
His shirt says Dr. Lol
What would you like it to say?
@@KingofCracks not a Dr. Period
@williammcpherson9953 what would make you think such a thing?
This doctor is so kind ❤
I appreciate those kind words!
Alternate medicine, had shoulder pain for years and beginning to weakened. Had massage and pain went away and shoulder is strengthened.
I had Torricelli in the 1990’s. It was excruciatingly painful. Muscle spasms at the neck. Had to hold my head between my hands.
Torticollis needs to be treated when the person is an infant and monitored until the child can move their head of their own accord. My son had this and we took him to PT. Did some stretches(which he hated). He's good now🤙
Thanks for sharing. So glad your son is doing better.
Yep , its called Wry neck , MBBS First year topic from Head and neck clinical , Congenital Torticollis , ur come comes down wards and then go sidewards making movements very difficult and painful
Woke up like that facing the left. Making right turns in my car was hell. Went back to normal after a week and a half.
It’s looks painful I felt s9 bad for him ❤😢
My son was born with the congenital type. He did therapy for a few years for it. He is now almost 18 and it still never completely went away but he can move his head from side to side it's just limited how far in one direction
I’m so sorry to hear about his condition. Have you tried a chiropractor and see if that would help?
New fear unlocked. Hello anxiety.
I experienced this and let me tell u it aint no joke. The pain is on another level and i had to do those some type of stretches for a few days. When i firat got it i had juat woken up and realized something wqs wrong and the slightest movement in the area was very painful. I had to asky wife to help me get out of bed.
OMG just watching this feels good❤
I don’t care what they say about chiropractors I’ve gone to one after a car accident and I felt like I was a baby. It helps man

I had this at 9 and couldn’t move it at all I had surgery which helped however I have chronic pain and wouldn’t what my enemy to go through what I go through daily. Moral is look into every option before surgery I didn’t have the say due to my age
You can tell tell he enjoyed the stretching part.
Former D1 football player. I have to do neck stretch routines and my own decompressions. This stuff works. Makes the pain manageable.
Thanks for sharing brother 🙏
So, so painful...been there, and only a chiropractor was able to fix it, thankfully.
I was born with torticollis. My mom never stretched me as a baby because when she would do the stretches I would scream so she stopped doing them all together because it made her sad to see me scream. Fast forward to 25 years old now & have had torticollis every single day of my life. Causes my head to tilt to left & my left shoulder higher up than my right shoulder. It lead to getting scoliosis in my back as well. Let me tell you it’s not fun at all. I still get asked to this day why you stand like that etc.. I heard it all, used to get made fun of for it in middle school & high school & it used to really bother me because I felt embarrassed about it because I just wanted to be normal. I pretty much finally excepted it at this point & know there is nothing I can do about it this late in life. I went to different chiropractor for years & still no results of anything changing. Every time I would go to different chiropractors I would always hear my neck & back were the tightest they ever had to worked on ( more than firefighters , military, cops , weight lifters , athletes etc.. I have heard it all ). Only thing I can do to fix it is surgery but definitely will not be doing that. The headaches & neck & back pain I have every day of my life is not fun at all hurts like hell. As I’m getting older the headaches are getting worse & I’m only 25. Never has stopped me from anything in life though from working in a warehouse for the last 7 year lifting heavy stuff all day , playing football , basketball & baseball. Only thing I can say I recently got into golf & that has been the biggest challenge up to date because I can’t get barely any rotation with a golf swing (never had that problem in baseball) but it just sucks because I’m to competitive in everything I do & I hate losing lol.
Please try Botox!! I have this condition and it helps so much
Perfect!! Soft and effective... that's the way
Yes indeed!
Damn man...The adjustment looked and sounded so satisfying that I decided to do it to myself....I just NOW had to make an appointment with my Chiropractor...FKKK!! $90 mistake.
