Thats amazing! 100kmh is really fast. I've been trying to find a way to reach that speed on my road bike in southern Sweden. The best I've been able to do is 80km/h, which was down from Söderåsen.
It was very stable, steering was straight. No wobling. It all depends on the roads, especially if it is a road with turns, high speed is not recommended. Yes, a hood or/and my helmet, but they where 600 km at home, did not have them with me.(forgot the helmet at home)
It is a Strada. I have a 56 chainwheel in front and 11-34 rear. As it is downhill, from the start i do not need to pedal much (rpm) Se my video about overtakeing in a velomobile ua-cam.com/video/ue2TvwLR9d4/v-deo.html
It might be possible, but I think I will not try to do it, as the road is ending at a cross, not long after where you get topspeed. I have done 116 km/h in France, the long decent near Brest. Done it, and I think i like the more slower side of Hallandsåsen more.
It is a bicycle...And I know I was to fast, have to follow the road signs. 🤔

Is there really a general speed limit for bicycles/velomobiles other then the Limit for all vehicles in Sweden? In Germany we only have a 25km/h limit for motor assistence, but without assistance you can ride as fast as you can on a bike. BTW, my fastest speed with my velomobile (QV) was also above 100km/h straight downhill - and my biggest fear was that would have to break with my little 90mm uncooled drum brakes. 🙈
@ I think it is the same as in Denmark, You have to follow the roadsigns/speedlimit on a bicycle.

@@VelostradaDk1 I didn't doubt that. The only thing I doubt is the statement, that bicycles (velomobiles) aren't allowed to drive faster than 25 km/h in Sweden. But maybe I misunderstood the statement and there was a 25km/h limit road sign. 🤷🏼♂️
It was lucky you were so observant and you watched the video all the way to the end...wow. Impressive And you're another one of those trolls who most likely lives in your own bubble, where it can probably be difficult to breathe without negative things coming out of your mouth.

107km looks like fun
Inga rådjur eller älgar i sikte...?
How did you feel the stability on high speed? In case it start rolling you would get some protection from a racinghood.

1. what Velomobil ist it ? 2. whalt you ride in front ? 70 teeth 80 teeth ? Your pedal frequency looks very low.....in the beginnig of the video !

Impressive, wonder if you'd be able to reach 110 with racing hood.

need for speed 107 km-h to fast for me 30 to 40 will do for me alleweder 4 Idont trust my steering capability
Maybe, just maybe, I would put on a helmet over 100k :D. Can you put on a helmet without bumping it into the chassis? It is not clear from this angle.
I normally use a helmet, it was at home 600 km away (forgot it)
@@VelostradaDk1 I always wondered if one can fit under the hood with a helmet, it seems like there is not a lot of space under it.
@@Vegan_Touring_Cyclist You can use a helmet under the hood, but not all helmet fits.
WOW that's fast. If only Velomobiles were legally allowed to go over 25 :( Aren't they considered bicycles in Sweden?

@ might be it was ment for e-assist...Max help until 25 km/h, and above is legal with pedalpower, some might misunderstand the 25 km/h limit.
Bit of a nob, no crash helmet.
Over the speedlimit, doesnt care about stopping at a Stop sign. Yet another good example set for cyclists!
