So happy you guys are back! Your videos and comics have helped me so much in my own multicultural marriage, and we also now have kids. It was difficult even as a veiwer when Sara passed and I cant imagine what you all went through. But im looking forward to whatever content you decide to post!
Great to see you guys back! Honestly you are so natural and keep it real, I just love your videos. I would love to know more about your struggles with learning Korean, as I know a lot of people think you just magically pick up a foreign language if you are immersed and have a partner who is a native speaker. I also know that it's very easy to lose yourself when you have young kids-your illustrations and videos are such a big part of you so very happy to see them coming back, even if it's slowly but surely. I'm loving following along with Hugh's "new" venture and would definitely like to know a bit more about how that evolved. Also, I feel you about getting old (even though you are not old haha) and good on you both for getting back on track with fitness-I truly wish I had started taking care of myself long before I did so I admire you doing it with very young kids. Oh gosh! I watched you and Hugh so much starting about ~10 years ago (I looked back and I had watched some of your first vlogs!) but I stopped watching youtube so much around 7 years ago, so I hadn't checked out your channel in years (sorry!). Just yesterday I came across Sara and Hyun's story on another website and I watched some of her vlogs and felt so heartbroken. I watched the vlog where Sara and Hyun revealed their relationship, and they talked about meeting through you and Hugh, and all my memories of watching your vlogs came back and I had to see how you are doing, so what a coincidence that you have just posted this video. I'm so sorry about what happened to Sara. Even just watching a few of her vlogs it seems like she was such a kind, funny, beautiful person and I can imagine she was such a precious friend. I'm going to watch more of her vlogs. It makes so much sense that you took a break, although I look forward to catching up on your lives if you do post more videos :) I don't think you look old at all to be honest, I was surprised that you look just how I remember you! And it's so lovely to see your children, and your family enjoying life between Aus and Korea. I'm a kiwi and I was living in Japan when I originally watched your vlogs, so a lot of the discussions on the difference between Aussie/Korean culture was really interesting to me, because it felt a bit like being neighbours with Aus/NZ and Korea/Japan! I'm curious about your work and business situation during the time you all have been off UA-cam. For instance, I know Hugh has a business of some sort, but I can't remember hearing any details about what that business is or what Hugh does. Are you a stay-at-home mom full time now, or have you also been working? Just curious about how you guys support the family since not doing UA-cam. I would also be interested in day-in-the-life videos, from all your different perspectives. Like a typical day for Hugh from his perspective, a typical day for you, and a typical school day for each of the kids. And I wouldn't necessarily want an "interesting" or "exciting" day where you travel or go to cool cafes, but just curious about what a normal day looks like, taking care of kids, working, doing chores and errands, hanging out, etc. Also you mentioned Yul doesn't go to afterschool hagwons. I would be interested in a video about that decision, since I know in Korea parents feel pressure to have their kids basically always studying and there's tons of pressure on kids, academically.
I miss Sara so much! It was heartbreaking to watch even the few videos she posted regarding her cancer journey. It’s been gut wrenching to watch her husband go on without her. I can’t imagine how much this has affected you. Big hugs and prayers to you and I’m so glad to see you back! 🫰🏻

I find it strange however that he doesn’t mention you guys but you keep on dragging him in public. As a cancer survivor myself who lost many friends I made on the ward to this illness I know how different grief can look and how it might be suppressed or only come up in waves for many years later or how some people need the closeness of another person to get through it. In my personal opinion there is no right way or speed to grieve, so it does leave a bad taste on my tongue when people in the public eye call out others for exactly that I have to be honest. I don’t think losing someone to cancer is easy on anybody despite what it might appear like on the outside. In the end you can do as you please and of course I don’t know behind the scenes of your life. I wish you all the strength to get through this, it’s been a span of 9 years for me losing friends I’ve made in hospital and I certainly don’t fall into as deep of a pit anymore as the first death I grieved, not because I’m heartless but because my brain is protecting me to be able to survive.

But I understand because all Sara's friends and family have been struggling with this over a year. We gave him so much time and energy and sympathy but he gave us nothing in return.. no he did give us something in return- abuse and manipulation. We all wanted to think it was just grief but as the time went on, more and more horrifying and insidious things were revealed. Please stop projecting your own experiences onto this situation and listen to Sara's friends and family. We have all said we do not want him using her social media and especially don't want him using her UA-cam channel. We want it to be memorialized. I have also barely said anything publicly besides this one comment here and Instagram stories which I quickly delete (because I am scared of abusive messages). So I don't know where you get this idea what I am constantly dragging him in public? You know why I haven't publicly called him out in a public statement? Because he has been threatening. He has access to all Sara's accounts and all her personal chats with her best friends and has been through them, which is a huge violation of her privacy and ours. Do you know why he doesn't mention us? Because he has no use for us anymore once we saw who he really was. Hugh and I have been grieving and not once has he ever asked how we were, yet we all dedicated so many hours of time to him. Again, that must just be grief right??? People with empathy think that at first...we want to assume it's just grief. This is why it took over a year to come to the realization he is a covert narcissist and was still in the love bombing stage with Sara (so she never knew the real him). She never knew all the things he would do after her death and that he didn't fulfill any of her wishes except for trying to further his own fame and attention. I can't even begin to explain how traumatic this has been for everyone. But the bottom line is that all Sara's friends and family are upset and disgusted by him. Some family members never want to see him again ever and all Sara's friends have been slowly putting together the pieces of who this guy really is. Lots of Sara's fans have also realised something is up and are unsubscribing. I regularly get messages from her followers who are upset by his behavior. They are only seeing the surface level stuff. I can't even go into the truly messed up stuff on here. I have been traumatized by slowly realizing who he really is and sickened by the way he has been using people. It's only a matter of time before more comes out...

Strangely enough, I lost my best friend two months ago to a sudden illness. Somehow watching your video made me feel there is hope for doing things we did together again, and in her memory, in time. Don’t worry Nichola, I’m now 41 and an old sleep-deprived mum with you! 😅 My older kids are 18 and 15 and half Indonesian. We used to go to Indonesia (including Bali) for holidays when they were in Primary school. They always complained because all their friends went to Queensland 😅 Plus they hated getting needles (vaccinations) which was the main reason they didn’t want to go! 😅

Any chance of interviewing newly wed Korean husband/Foreign Wife couples about their experiences? And now since you are parents, maybe videos about Korean dads. What is it like to be a Korean dad in this day in age vs when you guys were children. And also it would be nice if you guys added the short "My Korean Husband" intro into your videos as a throwback. One last thing which is if you guys could record some more videos back in the Korean country side (where it all began) when you guys ever decide to make it back there.
i would be interested to see your point of view on how korean government is trying to improve the nataloty ratr in korea and what you think would be more effective than what they are doing now. we are a fench korean family in france (2 kids). we would love to live in korea but some aspects are restrainikg us from making the move , especially that France is such an easy and convenience placr to live with kids. we are just not really happy with the security and education level. i am happy to see your "come back" and hope to see you one day in korea :)

It was 7 years ago and he maintained a healthy weight for many years but during the pandemic and some big work stresses caused problems. But back working towards a healthy weight again.

Welcome back! I’m so glad to see you guys making videos again. I’ve been a subscriber for many years and was heartbroken at your loss. Strangely enough, I lost my best friend two months ago to a sudden illness. Somehow watching your video made me feel there is hope for doing things we did together again, and in her memory, in time. So thank you. I look forward to seeing more of you and your wonderful stories.

General life with children in Korea, school, play, things that are different. And if and when you can - food. I miss your friend and the pure joy she gave off with sharing her love of food. Don’t worry Nichola, I’m now 41 and an old sleep-deprived mum with you! 😅 My older kids are 18 and 15 and half Indonesian. We used to go to Indonesia (including Bali) for holidays when they were in Primary school. They always complained because all their friends went to Queensland 😅 Plus they hated getting needles (vaccinations) which was the main reason they didn’t want to go! 😅
Welcome back! If I recall, you started your UA-cam channel because you heard Korean husbands make bad husbands on the internet many years back. Any chance of interviewing newly wed Korean husband/Foreign Wife couples about their experiences? And now since you are parents, maybe videos about Korean dads. What is it like to be a Korean dad in this day in age vs when you guys were children. And also it would be nice if you guys added the short "My Korean Husband" intro into your videos as a throwback. One last thing which is if you guys could record some more videos back in the Korean country side (where it all began) when you guys ever decide to make it back there.

i would be interested to see your point of view on how korean government is trying to improve the nataloty ratr in korea and what you think would be more effective than what they are doing now. we are a fench korean family in france (2 kids). we would love to live in korea but some aspects are restrainikg us from making the move , especially that France is such an easy and convenience placr to live with kids. we are just not really happy with the security and education level. i am happy to see your "come back" and hope to see you one day in korea :)

It was 7 years ago and he maintained a healthy weight for many years but during the pandemic and some big work stresses caused problems. But back working towards a healthy weight again.
