We're funnily opposite on what you're talking about in the beginning of the video. I can't be bothered to be more animated than what comes naturally, but I'll obsess over details in my videos and will strive for as close to perfect as possible.
We all have our vices and our pressures. I have been far more attentive to edits lately but I think I might be over-editing on all the videos. My energies would probably be better spent in other aspects like research or recording.
@@Majora_T If you feel like you need to redistribute your finite energy, then it could be worth experimenting with more research, but I have noticed the editing in a couple of videos at least! I may have even commented on it on an NES or Zelda video of yours. Hey, it's a nifty skill at worst, and you're well-practiced and can save time on editing in the future.
Like I said before, UA-cam is like Pro Wrestling. You have your weekly shows which are mostly filler that build up to the PPV where the big matches are on. Even the card on weekly shows have filler matches like the "mid card" where the combatants have to get their matches done quick and are actually punished for doing too many fancy moves/spots because they are taking attention away from the main event so they deliberately tone down their matches to make the main event seem more of a spectacle by comparison. My Games I Got For Free On PC series is exactly the sort of content you're talking about, it's all purely filler content that I do because it's easy to do. Some of the videos are better than others though, some are just really boring, not gonna lie. I'm not always 100% either but whenever there is something good, I can make a short out of it so it's not so bad. Also like I said before in my truth about youtube video "One man's trash is another man's treasure" so by exploring other methods that you put less effort in, you could find some unexpected success from it.
