Worst game ever is definitely subjective. This definitely highlights how a lot of games back then if they weren’t simple arcade style games were extremely hard to figure out without the manual, it was definitely a part of the experience. ET is often cited as the worst game of all time and one of the reasons is because it was cryptic like this and relied on needing the manual to play it properly, but it was clearly a game marketed to kids. But something like Myst is hailed as a great game when it is a very cryptic game. I suppose that at least everything you need to complete that game is in the game itself, I suppose that’s one way of looking at it, also the fact that it is targeted to an older demographic that already has familiarity with complex concepts in games.
No they weren't, this was shit then and its shit now. By that logic duck hunt should be bad by now but guess what, its still really fun. A game being fun or not does not change with time. Games are like grumpy old men, they were grumpy before they got old.
That kinda hurts my head bubba. I do like the 3D room to room transitions
Silver lining I guess. Kind of RPGish.
Kotaku called, they want their journalist back.
Worse than clu clu land? Wow!
It's a major feat.
Id rather listen to kamela talk about the passage of time for 24 hours 3 times a day than play this.
Sword Quest, wasn't this that game that had a competition with actual cash prizes? The AVGN did a video on it.
I'm super behind on AVGN. I ought to boot up a playlist on bored days.

Cryptic works better in some games and genres. I don't hate point and click but this is a rough representation of the genre.
Hong Kong 97: I'm a joke to you?
I can see this being fun if we played it when it came out
Times were different I suppose.

@@Ojthemighty Nah, some things can be fun because of the novelty . Like the early silent films getting crazy reactions .
@mlikoipura Charlie chaplin
Still good
@@Ojthemighty I was thinking of 19th century ,not Chaplin
