This is actually super interesting! The one point i do have is that she was quite an abusive parent. While it may not have been physical, it was certainly emotional. Rapunzel was trapped for years, isolated and longing for freedom. Thats my main problem with mother gothel lol. I still loved this vid tho! Youre underrated
I always wondered if Mother Gothel had tried plucking a hair instead of cutting it when she broke in. You would think it lost its magic from being separated from her head, but that is proven wrong when you see that the hair *above* the cut turned brown as well; so maybe it lost it's magic from being broken. And when you pluck a hair it usually still has the follicle attached, so that might have counted as still being attached to her in a way. I think until she kidnaped Rapunzel, she was not a bad guy, but there is no excuse for kidnaping a child. Eccept maybe if the family you take the child from is abusive and you are not which was not the case here.
Fair argument. Plucking hair was maybe the option that could have prevented a drastic measure. And true, there is no excuse for what she did. This was more an effort to understand behaviour than a justification of her solution. Thank you so much for watching🌻
