    I tried both the 14mm and 16mm. I kept the 16mm. I added lead to the 14mm but found that I lost some level of control vs the 16mm. I also prefered the solid feel of the 16mm. I think the pop and power are very good on both paddles. I can generate my own power, and kept the 16mm for added control. Great paddles.

    Great review, I was leaning towards the 14mm going to pull the trigger and use your code.

    Yes and if you grip the end of the long handle while serving you can get a lot of paddle lag which helps when trying to maximize a top spin serve.

      That’s what makes this wide body paddle work for me. I prefer at least a 5.3” handle.

      I hang my pinky off the edge of the handle on serves. Great leverage from way down there.

    I bought the 16 mm after seeing another youtuber test different paddles and he produced more spin with it than the others. I've added 18 grams of lead tape and I love it. Make sure that you use the rubber cleaner often to keep the surface ready to spin that ball.

      Glad you are enjoying. The 16mm is a fun one too. Probably the top control paddle for me right now.

    Great vid. Demoing both at the moment. I do think I am leaning 14mm just because it’s so forgiving. Yes the 16 is even more so…but what’s the point of getting all the way to the line and not being able to put the ball away! Ill keep hitting them this week, but I think I’m sold on the 14 with lead.

      That’s a good point and with adding lead tape I feel like you get close enough to the 16 control. The pop just makes such a big difference at the NVZ.

    I think these are more suited for some of my friends who come from table tennis background. I have grown to like the hybrid and these probably will not be easy to get use to.

      I’ll make sure the lighting is better next time. Glad you enjoyed it! Have you already tried the Mach 2 Forza?

    Legacy pro vs Mach 2 Forza 16mm for spin? Loving my Legacy Pro with kill shots, spin, and ball control but debating about switching.

      I think every reviewer has the Mach 2 Forza 16mm over the Legacy Pro for spin. Mine is old and well used I wouldn’t be able to get a good rpm test on it. You’ll lose some power switching but at the end of the day if I can’t control my paddle I don’t feel confident in my shots. The MF2 Forza 16mm is a control beast and still has enough finishing power. It just is lacking in pop.

    Gave you a like. I see that you are just starting off. Congrats. Small suggestion - do not have back light to your face when you record. It makes your face darker. Thanks for the review.

      Thank you! I appreciate the tip because the production has been the hardest part for me.

    Can you confirm the paddle length again. I thought they were both 15.88"? But when you put them together at 14:10 mark, the 14mm was longer?

    The 16mm’s pop isn’t anything to write home about like you said, but I didn’t seem to personally have an issue with it. I thought I had pretty decent put away pop with it, I did with the Selkirk Luxx too, and I believe it’s because the sweet spot is so huge on both of those paddles, it really helps to just hit the ball solid, and with its spin, I could flick pretty hard and freely and the ball stayed in. I haven’t used the 14mm, and of course these are just my personal thoughts.

    • @AllDriveNoDropPickleball
      @AllDriveNoDropPickleball  6 місяців тому +1

      I agree, the 16mm has enough to put the ball away and it is a little easier to place the ball with it which may be more important for some.
