I have trouble deleting glich areas and restart it. I miss an easy accessable "deleat last frame button" edit by frame takes a lot of computing power and feels unstable. Calibration and the app it self is sooo good now! Using pop2 still works great
Hello, thank you for your recognition of the RS 5. Regarding the issue you mentioned, could you please provide corresponding videos or images to us so that we can better cross-check with our R&D team? You can contact us at: customer@revopoint3d.com.
Having been a backer of the Revo POP, I was immensely disappointed. The software at release was nearly unusable, and as such, the hardware went into a drawer for the next few years. I finally dug it back out, as the software looks much more capable now. I hope this lets me achieve better results than my photogrammetry workflow, or helps supplement fine detail resolution.
Hello, our software has significantly improved in both smoothness and functionality. The scanner's performance will also be much better. You can try scanning some items again to see if it works well. We look forward to seeing your scanning results. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at any time.
Just got my Mini 2. When I edit multiple scans manually, like I delete floor dots on each and then try to merge them together, those things that I deleted come back somehow and I don't know what to do!
Hello, there's no need to worry. After scanning, the RS 5 has completed multiple operations such as Fusion and Mesh. If you wish to make any modifications to the data, you will need to redo the operations. For instance, if I wanted to modify the Fusion model, but the Mesh remained unchanged, I would need to redo the Mesh process to obtain the modified model. If you still have any confusion, please contact our technical support at customer@revopoint3d.com, and they will be able to provide a better explanation.
Really not helpful, this is just a little more than a list of software features. A tutorial should guide the user on how to get good scans, explain 3d scanning terminology, give an overview of common issues and solutions, provide loads of examples such as issues and how to solve them. People who buy a 3D scanner do not need a video to find out how to export a mesh in stl or to know they have to connect the scanner to usb. Too many concepts took for granted and a lot of useless information. Please tell us when it is useful to use one or another feature, tell us why they are there!
Your video would have been GREAT if you, at the very LEAST, define terms, such as fusion, mesh, etc. You keep on talking without explaining what it means!
It still needs a deselect tool or a key to press like Alt so you can deselect with the lasso.
Now we have the deselect tool, you can find it in Revo Scan 5.
