Kira, as I have said previously, "challenge" is a better word that I should have used. Challenge the status quo. Challenge authority if they think they are above the law or are trying to circumvent the law for their own gains, especially at the cost of the weak and the poor. Everyone deserves to live with dignity and not to be preyed upon just because many were born into less fortunate circumstances. The problem is that everyone is selfish, it's human nature, and always seems to worry about their own well-being, whether they are rich, poor, powerful, young, old, etc. No one wants to work together for the better of humanity. Only when the earth is closed to being destroyed, then we might see some cooperation because it's a common threat to everyone.

"When the truth is replaced by silence, the silence is a lie," Yevgeny Yevtushenko
School: “We also want our students to feel free to give us honest feedback!”
Stundents: *gives horrible, honest feedback*
School: *SEIZE HIM!!*
Kimmel is an American treasure. We must protect him at all cost!
Saint G so is phil defranco.
No it must be Guilermo
Peter is pretty cool too
I'm just imagining Guillermo being this badass, John Wick-like bodyguard for Jimmy now.

Good job sir thank you Mr kimmel for giving him the opportunity to speak his free mind
I am so glad he stood up for what is right .. congratulations young man I can see you going very far in life … Facts is all I have to say!
This was so cool of you! Let the kids speak. They are our future.
His speech is actually good idk why they cut him off. This kids awesome
It paints the school in bad light I guess was their reasoning
Karen ain’t sending her kids there
awesome for speaking his mind... Thanks for being a blessing and sharing...
Thank you jimmy! You are a true American
Now imagine if John Oliver had tracked this kid down... he would have destroyed that school's leadership
"Authoritarian high school gets humiliated by petty British owl in suit" I would have actually paid to see that
That's hilarious how Jimmy let him finish the speech in from of the whole country! Aahh, I love it! Thank you for that! Pay back to all evil schools! Booya!🤣😂🤣😂
Brave young man....
Such a well spoken young lad!
Well done to him, amazing person! Stand up for what you believe in ⚡️💖
Lucky they even have graduation
- regards 2020 graduate

School: Cuts off his mic so no one hears speech
*SPEECH ENDS UP ON TELEVISION*
copied
They tried to stop a room of maybe a thousand people for hearing his words. Now millions have heard them
I love this youngster.....Great person for the future ⭐🖤 love from🇯🇲
Love when Kimmel uses his platform !
The school doing that causes more publicity. Now everyone can hear it rather than that crowd that was just there 👀
I wonder how the faculty is reacting now that JIMMMY FREAKING KIMMEL is helping this kid spread his message
He was literally in the middle of a speech about how the school doesn't teach leadership well, and the school cuts off his mic. Truly remarkable stuff right there.
Now MILLIONS have heard him speak! I love this 🙏🏻 Well done Peter 👌🏻
Love this kid!!! Hes very intelligent! God Bless him!! Those people hate the truth!!!
"we tracked the kid down through social media"
Well I guess cutting off his mic backfired
Honestly. If the school had allowed him to finish his speech, there would be a few hundred people at the ceremony, and about a thousand or so more online who heard what he had to say. Because they cut him off, the original video of his speech went viral, he got to finish his speech on national television with an audience of millions of people, and the school became a national embarrassment. I certainly hope the faculty and school board think it was worth it, that is if any of them still have jobs.
I live in Wyoming and went to this school (wyoming are secondary center) until it was too unbearable but my older brother went there so I was there for his graduation , the teachers are kind but most aren't, and they pull stunts like this (silencing students) all the time... it's great to see this go viral bc it seems that the more people that are aware the more chance of change happening... we need to be heard we need to show we want responsibility and Peter did that for us. And he was pretty cool about it and the principal just decided to pull the chord out from him, proving that he as a person who is supposed to guide us has ultimately failed at his job by silencing him rather than listen. WARRIOR PRIDE LMAO
That school is in my area. I’m so happy that Peter got to give his speech. 👨🎓
A hero indeed
Kid: *starts talking*
Kimmel: “I’m sorry we’re completely out of time”
Doesn't let him Finish his sentence during his graduation day....now he's finishing it infront of millions of people or The world😂
at the school: *cuts the mic
on the national tv: *cuts the internet
I think you should eventually be on the Wyoming-Area school board or admin or....? You are a voice of reason and compassion! KUDOS!
Thank you Jimmy to give him an honour of speech. You did a great job I never watched your program but am truly happy many STUDENTS don’t get much opportunities. Lastly thank you for internet to hear Peter speech. Peter you deserve better.
not important or anything but he hits different when he's closer to the camera i-
He’s the real MVP. I’m glad he got to finish his speech.
"They pulled up a kanye on him"lmaoooo
Good speech! Thanks Jimmy for giving this kid a chance!
