Can we all consider the huge effort that @tshansen is making for us here?! only the last scene must have cost you an extra half hour!? I really appreciate your work 🙌🙌
Do you ever have a strange feeling leaving your expensive equipment on the side of the road?
Thank you so much mate 👏🏻 Going the extra mile is what makes the videos stand out, and I find great enjoyment in sharing my adventures and create a feeling of wanderlust 👏🏻 Thank you for taking the time to watch it all, that is something that means a lot to me. 🤩 I never think of my equipment that way. It is a tool I have bought to create. It is insured, and if I'm unlucky I will get a new one. If you are afraid of using your gear, it will show in the work (if that make sense) Cheers
@@tshansen you have a very good attitude! Thank you again for the creativity you put into your videos! unfortunately I haven't been to Norway yet but your way of filming and the editing gives me an idea of how beautiful it must be there! Have a great weekend mate 🙌
@@wanderlustadventures8850 Thank you, nice of you to say 👏🏻 You need to put Norway on your bucket list. It is a must visit country. Have a great weekend sir, cheers ☕
Thomas has a huge collection of cameras, he leaves one on each corner, they download as he rides past, so no need to spend hours going back and forth to collect and set up at the next beautiful location. Likewise the drone, its a special AI version with ever lasting batteries, it takes off when he leaves home, follows him everywhere, day and night and lands when he gets home. His production crew downloads the hours of footage, spends dozens of hours sorting through, editing, adding the perfect soundtrack and then uploading the content to YT. Thomas is like a film star, he gets the call to leave his luxury trailer for the shots that require his presence, then he flies home by helicopter to count the millions he’s earn’t. I do believe he does do his own stunts though. I have noticed though that the credits at the end, strangely all the dozens of experts involved in the filming and production seem to have the same name……………….. tshansen 🤔😉🤣
@@hovishill2779 Hahahahaha, that made my day. You see right trough me mate 🤣 They don't want any credits, so I get all the credit myself 🙈
Yet again another 10 out of 10 video. Always a pleasure to watch. 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks 👍 mate 🤩 Really appreciate it. It is way shorter than normal, but it is the last episode I could make of this trip, so little is better than nothing. Now I will stitch it all together and make a long video of it all. Cheers 🎥
We enjoy evry sek of this 🏍
Really glad to hear that mate, and thank you for the nice words. 👏🏻
And another fantastic episode of you, in which I recognized some sections of the route and am therefore more than enthusiastic, Thomas. 😊👍🏻
Thank you so much Claudius, yeah, I figured you could recognise some of the sections on this trip. Really glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 🤩
Spring time, come on, where are you? Winter go away, I want to go out riding now!
Could not agree more... looking out the window, got 20cm of snow this night. DAMN IT!!!

Just Stunning Thomas... You are a lucky man to live in this kind of area.
Thank you Bucky, and yes I try to remind my self of that everyday. It is quite unique to be able to live in this amazing place. Easy to forget that not all have it the same. Cheers 🔥

Thank you Vitor. This was the last episode of this series. I will stitch it all together and release it as a long video later, so now I'm working on some new projects that will challenge me before the next season. Much more to come 🤩

It's very amazing. Great !
Glad you think so, cheers 👏🏻
Vakker episode, høvelig lengde, kjappe bilde-vekslinger! Me Like! 👌😁
Super video 📹 Thomas...so good to be on the road!! Cheers Steve
Thank you Stephen, and really glad to bring you along on this adventure. Much more to come. I learn so much from these kind of videos. So I can't wait to get out and about on my bike again. 🤩

Herlig tur. Den skal jeg ta til sommeren. 👍😍
Den kan jeg absolutt anbefale. Kjører du den litt tidligere på sesongen kan du oppleve mange meter høye brøytekanter.
As always so nice to be "on the bike" with you! Looking forward to more scenic and well made episodes from Norway. Excellent work Thomas!
And agree, completely outrageous with 40 USD for a tent... I also found it annoying driving around with the small camper van that I had to pay the same amount as large "trailer" RVs in many camp grounds.
Thank you Pål, great to hear you enjoy these adventures of mine. Yeah, 400,- nok for a tent is just out of the question, I do understand that prices was high and because of covid etc. But this will scare the tourist away. We need to be much smarter in the way we differ between the size of caravans, tents and people. I see greed in some of the larger sites down south as well. they have turned up the prices like you would not believe. well, I guess that will only lead to one thing. More wild camp and all the problems that comes with that as well. Cheers
@@tshansen Yea, I hope these places will use some common sense and differentiate the prices. Often (not always of course), people who come with tents and smaller vans have less economical resources than those with larger vehicles, and it would be a nice gesture for those who have a smaller footprint to pay less. But as you say, there is a lot of greed around.
And another great video. Your videos are breathtaking and of absolutely professional quality.
As I said, we start in Kristiansand on May 28th. Unfortunately, it is too early in the year to ride Tindevegen and Sognefjellet by motorbike. Too much snow and too cold... But Norway has so much to offer. We will explore the mountain routes next time.
Thank you for the wonderful pictures from your beautiful homeland.
Thank you Captain, and yes... 28 of may is normally a little bit to early to ride some of the many mountain roads in Norway. But like you say, there is so much other great places to see and ride, so you will have a great time no matter what. Cheers 👏🏻
Another 6 min and 39 sec of incredible video with stunning imagines. WOW and thank you Thomas!!!
My pleasure Cosmo, glad you enjoyed it. This was the last epsiode of this series, so it was a little short. And I have to say, with this series I learned a lot. Can't wait for my next adventure 🤩
Absolutely stunning and such an inspiration! Really gets me thinking about selling my Gs and buying a Tenere..
Thank you sir 🤩 Well, that is a hard choice, the GS is absolutely amazing as a road tourer, but I prefer the Tenere for mixed use like I do. But with that said, I really like the BMW range as well.
What a FAN-TAS-TIC and scenic road that is!! I also admire your editing skills! Thx again for sharing Thomas.
Thank you very much, and really glad to hear you enjoyed it. Cheers ☕️
So dam good 👏👏🏍
Thank you Paul 🤩 Really glad you liked it
Austabotntindane in the view? Enjoyable as always Tjommi. Nice timing at the scenes and variations. I want some more ahhh, at evenings though, Coffee stops etc. 💪🍺 & ☕🤌🏻
That is absolutely correct Tjommi 🤩 Amazing view. Haha, this was the shortest episode without much added because it is the last episode and there will be some extra footage included in the long video that will be the final result of this series. I did not include the end in the series (did not make sense) 😆🎥 Much more ååååhhh's to come, you know it 🥃 Skåål!
@@tshansen whaaaat, that always makes sense Tjommi 💪🤠🔥🍺
Fantastic filming Thomas such a thrill to watch this while being snow bound. Spring what a wonderful word. Cheers
Many thanks Bob... we are getting a cold front in from the north as well, so we will have a lot of snow the next couple of days. Spring is a nice word yes hahaha 🤣 Cheers ☕️
Love your content mate! Really makes me want to buy a motorcycle again and depart towards Norway 🏍 .
Thank you Berrie… really cool to hear you enjoy this series. And not to mention that i make you want to get a bike again, that i take as a huge compliment 👏🏻
Really like this shorter video, but I cannot imagine how much work goes into it to produce your wonder creative style 🙌🏼 simply stunning again , thank you 😊
Thank you so much! Simon. This is always a hard choice, or hard to decide how much you should include, how long the videos or episodes should be etc. This episode was a lot shorter because it is the end of the long video I'm making. This whole series is made as a long video but I choose to upload the days as a stand alone video based on feedback from my audience. Really glad to hear you enjoyed this. Cheers 🤩
Snyggt! Jag körde där i somras men hade inte alls samma väder som du. Bra film!
Takk for det Erik. Ja, været er ganske avgjørende når man skal få mest mulig ut av Norge, om det regner å blåser, er det ikke like kjekt å kjøre over her 🙈
Stunning!
Riding the shore line = beauty
The snakey switch back hill climb = exhilaration
Another great video.
Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it my friend 🤩 It was a little bit short this time, but this is the last episode of the series. I will now stitch it all together and make a long video. And will have a "end" there. Cheers
Hello Thomas. Short but great. You bring your homeland to your viewers in wonderful pictures. And is this supposed to be the end? I look forward to your next videos. Greetings from Frank
Hello Frank. Yes, this had to be a short episode because my trip is coming to an end, and the initial plan was to make a long video of everything. So no I will stitch everything together and make a long video of it, and add a proper ending or something like that where this episode ends. Cheers 🔥
I would love to ride across Norway one day. I still havent gotten to ride across the US yet. I work too much!
You should, work is a necessary evil, but with small adjustment everything is possible 🤩
Your videos inspired my journey to Norway by motorcycle last year and I'll be going again this year. There's so much to see, but you make it easy to pick highlights with these videos. Thank you for this great content.
Gear related question: what drone do you use, how do you keep your drone batteries charged while on the road and how many batteries do you have?
Safe travels!
Wow, that is nice to hear Niels 👏🏻 It is quite unique to hear that you have been an inspirations for others adventures. That is something else, and one of my goals. To motivate others to do their own adventures. Glad you enjoy my videos. I use the DJI Mavic air 2 drone. I have 3 batteries, and a 12v socket I have attached to my batteri on the bike, and with a car charger I charge the battery of the drones all the time. one in the drone, one on charging and one full in the luggage.
Have to say, I've watched this series twice and love it all. My main take away is just how awesome it was for you to turn the bike around to get your camera after getting a drive shot around 2929272 times during the whole series. 😛
Hahaha, thank you so much mate. Appreciate that. Well, for me, that is all part of the fun, and I think this is what makes my videos stand out from the crowd. I enjoy making high quality videos just as much the riding part. 🤩 And it gives me a lot of motivation to read comments like this. Thank you for that 👏🏻
@@tshansen well as a novice UA-camr I know how much time it takes to just get that 2 second shot, even the ones waking up etc, its all part of the process and most don't know just how much bloody time it takes to get all these cut shots, epic stuff. @@tshansen yes, for sure it is a nice destination. Today we find out that on Corsica is forbiden to Camp wild with the tent 😐 that's a shame. We must see what Campings are open in April. And we have to find out the best Ferry option. We don't want to book in advanced. We do not know exactly in what day we leave from Romania and when we arrive there. Nice Video. Can you make a review on your Helsport Tent? How to set it up and down and all the other stuff.
Sure thing mate. I will take a look trough my footage and see if I have enough footage or I need to capture some more before I can make a complete review of this tent. But I will make it heppen. Cheers
I see it was very busy with traffic whilst filming, near the end you had 3 vehicles moving in the same direction in the same drone shot….. outrageous 🤣. Can you find some quieter roads for the next instalment please Thomas 😉 😄.
Hahahaha... yeah, can you imagine. really busy roads this day 🤣 This is something that is really easy to take for granted elsewhere. I can remember how it was in some of the alpine pass down in Europe. The insane amount of traffic. Damn. Did you get any snow last night? or was it only us up here? Cheers
@@tshansen last time I was in the Alps (2008) the traffic was pretty bad, especially in Austria, compared to the previous times in the 80’s and 90’s. I was out at 3am with paul, working, we were on a job driving up north and back, plenty of snow, but most had melted on the return trip.

Great video! What are the laws for aftermarket exhausts in Norway? Do motorcyclists get pulled over a lot in Norway?
Yes, there is laws against it here in Norway, but you don't see a lot of controls abut this, and police don't have the tools to take a reading. So they will tell you to have it checked out. So it pretty much safe to ride with a aftermarket exhaust. If you have a stamp in the registration papers they don't say anything about it.
Hi Thomas 👋🏼 thanks again for another great video to keep us entertained waiting for the winter to pass 👏🏻
I just wanted to ask am I correct in seeing you have changed the OEM Pirelli’ s to Mitas E 07’s ?
I asked you before about tires for my upcoming Norway trip, you were quite complimentary of the Pirelli’ s , anyhow I know you had the Mitas on your 790, so how do you like them on the Teneré ?
I’ve got a set waiting for me at the tire shop, going to fit them about a couple of months before heading your direction.
Thank you, and glad you enjoyed this episode as well 🤩
That is correct. The OEM Pirellis was fantastic road tires, but a little bit scary or failed to deliver like I wanted compared to the other tires I'm used to. So on a trip like this, with so much gravel roads, I wanted to go for my favourite setup, the tkc80 front and mitas e-07+ rear. I really love this combo on my Tenere as well.
@@tshansen that’s interesting, I didn’t think about this combination, think I’ll look into it now you told me 👊🏻 cheers Thomas

@@terjerennemo9877 Perfekt... notert på to do listen.
Which drone do you use and do you use lens filters? Great videos!
Hello mate, I use the DJI Air 2 and yes I use the ND filters that comes in the fly more package. Really happy with that.
Noticed this series no AMOK hammock. Just easier to tent?
Hello mate. Yes and No… this late in season, in the mountains there is not many trees, so it easier to find camps with a tent. So i try to bring with me a tent whenever that is most convenient and the Amok when that is most convenient. It is really situational for me and where my trip is planed.
Curious of what you prefer when camping in Norway? Your Draumr or an ordinary tent? I've been using several tents during my moto-camping, but have my eyes on the Draumr for this years travel. Pros and cons?
Both.... it is really situational. I love my Draumr, it is the best bed I own, but late in season it can be better to have a tent in some of the areas I'm traveling because it can be hard to hang it or find a good place in the mountains. So I bring with me the tent or the amok from what trip I'm planing. The obvious advantage of a tent is that you have more shelter from the weather, easier to heat up when you dress or undress and you have more room to hide away from the wind that can be in the mountains. Cheers

There’s a tendency that you are getting to „smooth“ and „perfect“. Hard to explain…. If I expect a perfect video from you (as always…) it is hard to deliver more.
There is a saying I know „if the mouse is fed up the cheese tastes bad“.
Ok. This is somehow unfair since I am explicitly looking for points to criticize. And really can‘t find much or at all. From all the creators I am following you are top notch. And you are not even doing this as a full time job ….
You know what, this is really a good comment, and one I appreciate a lot. Because I feel it in some way myself after editing this series. That there is little rough footage or me messing up the shot or completely do something that is not polished. And I have taken a step back, looked at it over and over again, and got some really good thoughts for my next adventure or upcoming productions. It is a perfect saying, because I understand that stuff is becoming so good now that the cheese are starting to taste bad. haha, perfect 🔥 This is not unfair, this is exactly the comments I need to get going or develop further. So thank you wop. really appreciated 👏🏻🎥
