A new Twitch shout out command while sharing a raiders/host clips! It's such a cool little tool you guys can use for your own stream! It's free and very easy to use! Hope you guys spice up your channels with this one!

thanks for this man! just to add my 2 cents in here, putting the "limiter" audio filter on the source will stop it from clipping into the red no matter how loud the clip gets... basically it sets a max volume ceiling.
Very true! But I did experiment a little bit with a limiter and sometimes it can cut out audio of the clip completely 🥲. And plus having to consider everyone’s microphone set ups can be a bit difficult to work around all of them 🤔

Great video, but im on iMac and my Twitch Guru page don't have a set command option, or a "Add" bottom, so what do I do? I'm a bit lost.

How do you do it for random streamers not just yourself or this works for all !so people without putting a clip
ty my viewers can hear it but after highlight its muted and the sound bar for the shoutout is already automatically setup in obs/streamlabs
love the video man! is there anyway to reduce the volume of the clip itself? I've tried everything but can't seem to get around it and the clips that's usually been played is a bit too loud, any way around this?
Within twitch guru you can lower the volume I think? But the filters you put can be an alternative option so the clips that play on stream won’t peak in audio 👍
If the current setup is too loud make the limited a bit stronger, make it like -6 in the filters test it and honestly go down 3db at a time. alternatively you can turn down the source itself by adding a gain filter and reducing all sounds flat out :)

I need some help, followed this guide and yet when I do a shoutout the audio will start about 3 seconds before the video..is this normal?

To be fair! It was free when I made the video! But not to worry, I have an updated video of a wayyy better shoutout command and it’s 100% free!

I don't know what happened to Guru, but the clips that play on my stream are extreme choppy, very low framerate, and sometimes freeze altogether. The audio works fine, but the clip video is unwatchable. I hope they either fix it, or another service pops up that can do it right.

His page now requires you to sub to his channel to use the clip shoutout feature. So be prepared to basically pay for this feature now.
Can’t really blame the guy for doing that! I’m pretty sure he coded it himself and I believe he definitely should get compensated for it 👍.
@@Lobapixel Which is fine, except that the free version no longer works, and I'm pretty sure this is intentional to try to push people to buy the subscription. I'm very against subscriptions, as I would personally rather just pay a one-time fee and get the service I want. I don't even make enough form my stream to break even on his subscription fee, so he's basically limiting this only to bigger streamers.

Hmm 🤔. I think maybe it’s freezing because you didn’t check the box where it says “loop”? If not try doing the whole process again and delete the browser source and add it again? If that fails then you should see their discord or email him directly? 🤔.

Yes, the free version no longer works for me. It plays the audio, but the clip visual is choppy, stutters a lot, and sometimes freezes altogether. Pretty disappointing. I think he's doing this to force people to buy the subscription service, but I'm not going to do that if there's no guarantee the paid version is better. No thanks, l'll be using another service.

It can be a bit laggy or even late! Gotta give it a few tries! If it continues I would restart the process and add it as a browser source again or you can refresh the cache within the source itself 👍
