I actually think this makes a lot of sense because of how hard it is for Kalista to carry late combined with the utility and laning of Kalista.
It’s really exciting to see the evolution of support as pros have learned to funnel precise amounts of gold to get champions to their power spike. It’s what has increased the crazy support picks. If it spikes on 1 item, you can play it support

i liked the strat on third game, but i didnt like the bot lane runes, i think press the attack draven and lethal tempo kalista have way more kill potential in lane
Hail of blades is mandatory on Caitlyn, Kalista, etc bot if you want to cheese lvl 1 fight to get lane prio. Lethal tempo would proc way too late for it to be impactful

@@Elijahgoods My question would be when he had time to ward, at when he got to lane they were pushed under turret and if he goes to place a ward Guma gets harassed, then they want to push wave and the enemy is trading so if he goes to place a ward Guma has to trade 2v1. He did not make a mistake by not warding
@@Elijahgoods I get what you mean, but those simple mistakes happen because at somepoint the complexity of the newer(? , other) concepts are taking a lot of his mental stack. There should be someone that reminds him of those mistakes after the game(from staff) or before they happen (ingame by teamate). An honest mistake of an honest player, there isn't a real point to talk about it as obervers unless it happens repeatedly over a decent time period.
