I wish I could pay you to attach a skin for me, your care and attention to detail is amazing!!! I’m so happy I came across this before I stuck one on. It’ll turn out way better thanks to your advice 💕
@@fromcheywithlove Thank you!!! I’ll have fun sticking it on myself no matter how it turns out and I’ll definitely come back to your tutorial when it arrives 🥰
I took my time following your tutorial and my switch looks amazing!!!! I’m so happy with how it turned out that I’m not ready to put the case on yet! Thank you so so much 🥰💕
If this was official then this should be called the "Choco Ala Cookie Nintendo Switch Lite" because the brown color reminds me of chocolate and cookies!
I have decided on finally getting one. But now I can't decide which color to get. A few months ago I probably would've gotten the coral one, bc I absolutley love it, such a pretty color. But I worry I might get tired of it. The grey also has grown on me and that one would work best if I wanted to use skins at one point. Too bad there is no coral skin anywhere, at least not in a shade that is close to the coral switch lite's tone. If there was, I'd probably go for grey. Also with my phone being purple (iphone 12) but my other tech stuff being more on the neutral side... why am I so indecisive...
If you're worried, people actually sell "shells" for the switch lite-- like, replacements for the plastic casing. It does require much more fiddling around with things than applying a skin, and it might be a bit trickier..? To find shells? But there are tutorials on UA-cam, and I'm sure if you ask around there are people who will help you. Just wanted to let you know that there are other options and you don't have to commit to one base switch colour :) (I personally have the coral one, and I don't get tired of it because I love the colour pink, but that is totally just me)
Definitely! It's what I have and it created darker shadows underneath the skins so that they camouflage into the console instead of stand out if I missed a spot. :)
I wish I watched this before putting my skin on 😩😩 I stuck down the corners and then used my hair dryer and it didn’t work. Like you said you need to heat it up BEFORE you stick the corners down. Also I didn’t know to put my screen protector before applying the skin. I put it on after and of course, since the skin raises the edges ever so slightly, I have massive air bubbles all around my screen protector.
@@fromcheywithlove I actually got one now!!! I never expected that lol, but I’m planning to get a skin for it and I’m pretty sure that your video will help me in the future :))) big thanks
@Naziratul Fadhillah I personally think that it’s really worth it if you have the right games. What I think is kinda sad about it, is that the switch itself already costs a lot and the games cost very much too :( that kinda ruins it for me. But if you plan in some games when you buy it , it is great. (Btw I was a non Gamer aswell :) )
Great question! I actually put the glass on the console first, then I change the skin on top of it whenever I need to. It looks great! And I got the thumb grips from Amazon, but StickieTech has the same ones!
I wanted to change my switch lite color for so long because at the time the store only has pink and I wanted black. The I saw the prize of the skin and the shipping sent my order to 60$ like bruhhh.
I want to add a pink skin to my switch, but it’s blue. My first try went terribly and now I need to order another ( 😅 ), but the fact you’d still be able to see the blue through some of the skin such as as the card slot and top buttons is going to drive me insane. Is there any way to stick the parts you peeled off on to completely cover EVERYTHING? (:
Yes! The card slot sticker is definitely able to be applied as well! I just don't put them on there, but it's definitely possible :) Just make sure to apply everything super slow and precise so that there is no visible slippage of the color underneath. It should look great!
Yes, I do! I will be posting more soon! I'm finally able to fit some content creation in my schedule for this channel, so I am super excited :) Thank you for your support!

That looks sick. Good job
Looks super cozyyy... love ittt
would you recommend getting a grey switch to have neutral colors for skins?
Definitely! It's what I have and it created darker shadows underneath the skins so that they camouflage into the console instead of stand out if I missed a spot. :)
@@fromcheywithlove that’s what I thought!

Did you have a screen protector on when installing the skin????
Yea she does
8:00 what game is this?
It's called "When the Past Was Around"! Super cute game 🤎
@@fromcheywithlove thank you !! 🤍🤍
should you put the skin on top of the switch’s tempered glass or under?

Awesome! Thanks for the video, my new Switch skin looks so much better than the original color. 😋👍

Do you have a case on before you do the skins ?
Nope! It's just the Switch console. I put a clear case on after the skin application though to protect it from getting messed up!
how long did the skin take to get to you??
What are u playing at the last part?
Its called "When The Past Was Around". Its a super cute game!

You can even apply the skin to the bump underneath the R2 and L2 buttons so that they are covered as well!
Thank you for this video!
