Sacred Hate was one of the greatest local bands that I've ever heard. And if you've never got to hear a band called "Slobberbhang", that consisted of Rick Balog, James Hamilton and Chris Boughter and Dave Galazia, you really missed out on some great stuff. Days I will never forget.
@richardfields3088 - Dave was, and I believe still is, the drummer for Coin Monster - They were definitely ahead of their time with what they were doing! Killer musicians, Coin Monster! But, for Slobberbong, the drummer was Gary Callabret - also a beastly mother f**ker on drums. Gary came from Hood Face, with Rich York on vocals, I never saw Hood Face perform, but I had the pleasure of witnessing both Gary and Rich, up close, in subsequent project - Hegemony, with total shredder Mick Huff on guitar. Rich York still plays in Youngstown with a retro punk band called BulletFinger & the Expirations, they're really, really good!
@@SomeClassicGameMusic- Yes, please do part two! I've been seeing so many videos on UA-cam lately, history of hard core in this city, and history of hard core in that city, and I was hoping something like this would pop into my feed, and there it was today!
My gut tells me I'm in any Penguin Pub footage moshing away 😅 I wish they kept their shit together long enough to have released their second album, oh well.

I hope to do a part 2 sometime!
@@SomeClassicGameMusic that would be AWESOME! If you need to find some of the fellas and possibly get some audio/video clips, I might be able to help.
