  • As I've run into an increasing number of people who tell me about their fear of microwave ovens. 5G cell phone towers, cell phones,, and smart meters, I set up this experiment to demonstrate how weak radio waves are at a distance, by placing numerous eggs in front of my microwave oven, to see how microwaves would effect them at various distances. The eggs closest to the microwave oven were only mildly warm after 35 minutes or exposure, but eggs beyond 13 inches remained cool. Here's a link to a video by a gentleman who believes microwaves aren't as dangerous as people think, and he makes his case by microwaving his own hand and face to prove his point. • I Tested the Limits of...
Conventional science teaches that non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation from Microwaves and many other sources are harmless at a distance, even though they have the potential to cook things up close.

@@bsdjail True, but the heating effect is no where near what some people believe. Some people believe their cell phone warms the side of their head from RF radiation, but after this experiment and similar experiments, this does not seem possible.

@@davidbrayshaw3529 If you think you can get cancer from microwave radiation then ughhh... You'll be more successful doing that by crushing up the beryllium oxide isolators inside the magnetron and breathing them in than standing a meter away from an exposed magnetron for days straight. The only thing that microwave radiation can do is heat your insides up, though by square-cube law it manages to dissipate so much in the air you'll be more successful cooking yourself with a magnifying glass than with a magnetron.

1/d² is your ally, the inverse square law. Energy from a point source expands spherically. Say the truck's walls and floor was made of paper, and distance to the nearest WiFi access point was 50 feet, that AP would receive a tiny fraction of a watt: 4πr², or in this case 4 x 3.14159 x 50' = 4*π*50^2 = 31415 ft², the size of the microwave sphere. 1200 watts / 31415 ft² = 38 milliwatts/ft². Approximately the energy output by a computer's WiFi.

My previous physiotherapist (now retired) used a microwave device for better healing of injuries. The device was the size of a washing machine, with a plastic telescopic arm carrying a round plastic box. This box was then secured to the injured body part with elastic bands. A timer was then set for 20 minutes, and after about 5 minutes you felt a pleasant internal warmth. Also, microwaves don't provide 360° energy if I'm not mistaken, but rather a beam, which is why the food rotates in a microwave to avoid creating a hotspot. This also explains why you cannot kill an ant in a microwave, as soon as it feels the heat, it moves to another place on the dish.

    • @GrantsPassTVRepair
      @GrantsPassTVRepair  5 місяців тому +10

Interesting. I didn't realize microwaves could be beneficial for healing. Other than the dangers of getting cooked to death from being to close to the magnetron, I've often wondered if it's safe to get just close enough to warm yourself, without harming yourself.

    • @BjornV78

@@GrantsPassTVRepair yes, it's called Diathermy when used in Psysiotherapy. The deep internal warmth promote blood circulation, the better the blood circulation, the better/quicker healing. In Psysiotherapy is also Ultrosonic sound used for this purpose, but this don't give any warmth,in fact if this device is set too high, it hurts enormously from inside the bone. Don't ask how i know :-)

I remember hearing about Diathermy devices that commonly operated close to the CB radio frequencies, and up to 300,000 MHZ, so I'd guess that microwaves frequencies could be used the same way, so long as you keep a reasonable distance from the magnetron. Microwave ovens transmit at around 2.5 G. @@BjornV78

@@GrantsPassTVRepair my Lectenna responds to these microwaves when i hold it against the door window, but that same Lectenna does not respond near any WiFi device that i have. Also, something many people don't know, is that with a microwave oven, you can get a fluid to a point of called "Super boiling". At this point the fluid is heated beyond the cooking point, but there is no vapor comming from the fluid, are no bubbles to be seen, it acts like it is cold water. But a sudden move, of placing a spoon in this fluid, it start a very violent reaction where the entire fluid jumps high up out of the jar/cup like a volcano. The danger is that this can cause severe burn wounds. I have experienced this phenomenon twice when heating a coffee cup filled with Mushroom sauce covered with microwave foil. The first time, after a few seconds of heating, i heared a big smack, and saw the cup laying on his side, with all the contents spilled over the entire inside of the microwave. A hugh cleanup needed after that. So i though that i set the microwave at a too high setting, so a few weeks later, i set it to a very low setting, and after a few seconds while i was watching, the cup started to shake on the glass plate like a earthquake and suddenly the entire cup jumps up about 5 centimeter (arround 2 inches) and smashed back down to the glass plate and start shaking again. i immediatelly shut down the microwave, and the shaking also stopped right away. The strange thing is, if heat up other sauces, or soup etc... it doesn't do this at all. The same mushroom sauce in another microwave acts normal. So where the difference is between both ovens is a big mistery to me.

I would like to have seen what you described. Regarding your lectenna not responding to your WiFi modem. It might take time to figure out exactly where to hold your lectenna next to your WiFi Router, I 'm wondering if you got one of the fake 1SS86 diodes, or used some other diode that isn't very sensitive. Try holding the lectenna all over the WiFi router in vertical and horizontal positions to see if you can get it to light up.@@BjornV78

If you look inside the microwave there will be a bit of what I can only describe as laminated cardboard on the side where the controls are located.
Sometimes it is secured by tabs bent into the hole others have a screw.
    That is a “wave guide”.
Not sure how it works, but mine without it sometimes sparks/arcs in the corners if there is a drop of liquid from previous steam escaping from cooked food.
It is possible you might need to remove that?
Also just because it didn’t “cook” the eggs, doesn’t mean it didn’t sterilise them.
If you can prove it sterilises, it could still be useful for body builders who wanna eat raw eggs but microwave for 30-60 seconds to kill and likelihood of pathogens/bacteria.
