Lady Maria and demon prince and Gael. I don’t think they are hard. Sir alone is maybe top 25 and the dragon is annoying so he can be at my top honorable mentions. For me Ludwig, maliketh, are really hard. But again this is my thoughts so yoı don’t have to agree with me but I see your thinking and ı respect it!

Does changing your weapons and talismans but keeping your stats count as changing your build? On my first run I suffered through with just my greatsword, but on following runs I changed to a dagger and a shield so I could try a parry / dagger strat, (on str/fai and dex/arc builds respectively) which has since become my go-to method of killing him

@@jollyco-operation Hmm, have you tried using charged attacks? You could use the axe talisman and the spiked cracked tear, as well as the flame shrouding cracked tear for your physick flask. Theres more openings in phase one for charged heavies that could hurt him a lot, and maybe even break his stance. Same goes for phase 2, but mainly when he does his grab attack or after his big 360° light pillars. Or you could use the claw talisman if you want to stick to jumping attacks. Oh, and if you have a sufficient amount of faith, flame grant me strength and golden vow are really good damage buffing incantations.

I also thought they should add one but then i realised, how would the bosses scale? What keeps me from one-shotting godrick? Would he "level up" in new game + levels? How many new game + levels for each boss? But then the hardest bosses would be far too hard and i don’t know where you would draw the line. In sekiro it was easier since every remembrance upgraded your stats and the rematch bosses stats (as far as i’m concerned).
I think this could change some people’s opinions on at least some of the bosses. Instead of beating malenia, hating it, and then never fighting her again (at least without having to travel all the way to the endgame), you can just fight her immediately after and maybe learn how to deal with her better. This would also make trying different weapons and stuff way more fun

On new game the formula can be The biggest scaling possible * NG multiplier. Edit: We might need some tweaks for some bosses that has special scaling like Fire Giant
Elden Rings DLC did something that no other Souls game or DLC has done to me. Finally beating the ER DLC, made every single other hardest boss from the other Souls games/DLCs feel like a cake walk. The jump in overall difficulty felt staggering
@@issi529 talking about specific bosses, not entire games in general: Critical mode superbosses in the Kingdom hearts series took me way more tries than everything in soulsborne games. Digital Devil saga demi fiend took me more hours than every boss in souls games as well, still regarded as One of the hardest jrpg boss fight ever created. And games like i wanna be the boshy are beyond insanity in terms of difficulty, some bosses took like dozens of thousands of attempts (im not joking) to the very few people who bested them. From games are just the hardest if we only look at the main stream franchises, which from games are part of.

I agree with most of it but I wouldn’t put Malenia and Messmer that far up the list. Malenia is easy if you can dodge waterfowl dance, Messmer is easy if you practice roll discipline. Malenia is easy to learn and Messmer is even easier.

On new game Laurence on new game was pretty easy for me , took me 2 attempts but on ng+ that all changed and on ng+6 he took me like 25 attempts , his scaling on ng+ is insane and so is Orphan's .

I actually enjoyed Radhan. Might have been Stockholm syndrome since I was on that fight for 343 attempts but man during the later quarter I loved the fight. Idk how to explain it but it feels so epic and feels like your actually taking down a god. Along with the ost and boss arena its a 9/10 boss for me. One thing I do agree with tho is the hair that gets in the way cause yea thats bs, and the light that pops out I do agree with as well but as long as you keep dodging to his right it shouldn't be that bad. Also Laurence is overrhated imo. Probably need to fight him more then once but I managed to beat him in a little under or above 10 attempts.
Isshin taught me determination in gaming seriously. Because you can’t cheese that boss, you have to do it by completely mastering Sekiro’s combat. Nowadays I can do him pretty easily even after stepping away from Sekiro for a while, but on that first playthrough Isshin was BRUTAL. I will never, ever question whether I have the ability to beat a boss or a game on my own terms having done him. Even in my ragiest moments against Radahn I knew I’d be able to do it. Love that fight though. He will always be my number 1 boss in gaming as a whole.
Btw, for the people Who says that has issues against Radanh Holy atracks... Just roll to the sides, and master phase 1 with that mentality. Eventually it will become on a non issue once you learn that.
he is still hard tho. I beat him with no difficulity now after 5 playthroughts. but in first 3 of them he make me rage so much. Btw ı mastered malenia after no hitting her but in radahn ı dont need to no hit to master him. @@burntivoryking Trust me, if you manage to roll to the sides while sticking to him, the visibility problems will me much minor, because that would put the lasers to the sides of the screen. Except the AOE attacks you should roll at the end, its an insanely good strat against him.
Ok... Is just me?? Or am I the only one that finds the DS3 bosses to be pretty easy. Especially when compared to any of the Elden Ring, Sekiro, and Bloodborne bosses. Sure Midir and Friede are definitely not pushovers, but I definitely found Orphan, Consort Radahn, and pretty much all of the Sekiro bosses to be much harder.
Oh you’re right. Most of the main game bosses were push overs especially after playing Elden ring and even the harder dlc bosses don’t compare to the ones in Elden ring
I found the same thing. The only DS3 boss that gave me problems was Twin Princes (Princes who adore you, that’s what I said now) but even then I didn’t need more than 5 or 6 tries to beat them.
In my opinion, DS3 rolls are by far more generous as in it feels that there's a lot of from the rolls in DS3. Compared to Elden Ring where Ive gotten alot of roll catches more any other souls like game
@@caesar1512 yes this is true. i feel like this is one thing some people forget. i dont think its just the speed of the bosses in elden ring that makes things feel harder, its that dodging is less forgiving, which is a subtle change with major impacts and can take awhile to adjust to
I always struggled the most with Lud & Zallen in DS2, also due to the walkback with the Frozen Reindeer. Now after my first playthrough, Radahn, Consort of Miquella is up there but maybe also just because I fought him on Scadutree level 0. Therefore my Top 5 most difficult Bosses: 1. Radahn, Consort of Miquella (Promised Consort Radahn was easily learnable.) 2. Lud & Zallen 3. Orphan of Kos 4. Isshin, the Sword Saint 5. Malenia Honorable Mentions: - Ebrietas - Laurence - Sister Friede - Midir - Bayle - Kalameet, if you want to get his weapon

Good video. Only major disagreement is the bed of chaos. It’s either 3 attempts or 30 attempts to beat tho so it’s really random. Really awesome that a majority of the hardest bosses are also among my favorites
I appreciate that you acknowledge that you struggled with the mechanics on Orphan of Kos even though you didn't take a lot of attempts to beat him. I feel like too many people who go into a boss fight with an OP weapon or overlvled or just get good rng and beat a boss quickly just claim that the boss is "easy" even though they never learned how to actually deal with its abilities. There are a handful of bosses I've steamrolled, but recognize I could have gotten stuck on them for a while under different circumstances. The difficulty of a boss fight is primarily about how hard it is to directly engage with their mechanics, rather than just a measure of how many tries it takes a player to beat them, regardless of their build or stats.

Fume Knight On FIRST PLAYTHROUGH tho, I actually died the most to the Twin Princes on DS3, Was stuck on them for almost a MONTH lol, Tbf it was my first Dark Souls game & I was probably underleveled, But yeah that to this day was one of the greatest highs i ever got from killing a boss, Only one that matches it is KH1 Sephiroth, Was technically stuck on him for 20 years lol finally beat him a year ago and it felt incredible. Ngl, Some of those KH superbosses were legitimately harder than some of the toughest Souls bosses for me, KH2 Lingering Will is on par with Malenia & Radahn in terms of difficulty for me, Legit felt unbeatable at one point, But forced me into going god-mode when i finally beat him.
Agree on kh superbosses being harder than soulsborne Critical mode yozora and kh3 Data fights outclasses everything i have ever fought in a From game, they were even harder than lingering Will as a kh veteran

Eh he is a boss I have died to maybe 5 times over 8 or 9 playthroughs (I have died more in reflections, but thats over hundreds of fights and I only lose one in like, 10) First tried him first time around, took my 3rd run to die, this is because if you do, what the entire game tries to teach you, he is a cakewalk
@@hyp3rwolf991 yeah it varies to if you fully click with sekiro I find. For me I found once I learned the pattern (for humanoid bosses) that its just, attack until they deflect, then deflect until you have an opening to attack again, every humanoid boss became trivial
Beat him lvl 1 no scadu, he’s so easy took me a couple of tries his combo is really easy to dodge I just I frame the charge in the start and he gets staggered in 3 hits which is not a lot at all since he has really big punish windows
Slave Knight Gael and Sister Freid are 2 of my favorites. So punishing and rewarding, and both require perfectly telegraphing their attacks. I had to listen while she turned invisible to perfectly dodge roll her stealth attack with my eyes closed. So exhilarating.
For me Rellana was was the hardest boss in the dlc. Glad to see it on the list. (I parried Radahn and somehow learned it pretty fast) In Rellana fight it was hard to find safe openings and most attaks were hard to parry.
The only thing I don't like about Radahn in the DLC is his 3 hit combo: right, left, double. I don't think you can dodge it by simply rolling, or at least I haven't been able to do it. But it gets even worse in the second phase beacuse you definetly get hit by all attacks including the light pillars.
Yeh the double slash is brutal. You have to be on the sides of him to not get hit by that. I'd love FromSoft to tighten up the hitboxes on that attack but part of me thinks it's intentional with all the experience they have with hitboxes up to this point.
all DS3 bosses, all BB bosses except for Laurence, Fumeboi, Messmer partially fair: Malenia if you remove the waterfowl, isshin perfectly fair but way too demanding, Manus and Bayle same reason as isshin but to the point where learning them can be annoying at times, rellana she has some seriously fast combo starters and very short openings but other than that she can be considered fair i think everyone else in the list is unfair or downright horrible imo
I feel so validated in my experience with Bloodborne bosses; everyone talked about how Orphan of Kos was so hard but I beat him on my second attempt. Lawrence, on the other hand, took me between 30 and 40 attempts!
Obviously these kinds of lists are pretty subjective but this list and order is pretty much spot on IMO. You didn’t include a single boss whose difficulty I find to be overblown / overrated, other than Midir who I don’t think is AS hard as many say but it still definitely a top 15 boss. Only change I’d make is I’d find a way to get Gael on this list. He fucks me up. I’d take out Bed of Chaos because I have an incredibly easy strategy for it but I get why people find it hard. Also I respectfully disagree about Radahn being totally bullshit but it’s a fair argument lol. He has that one really awful broken attack and the blinding holy AOEs can be cheap at times but overall I think he’s mostly fair. Definitely the hardest by a wide margin though.
As someone who platinum’d every Soulsborne game the 3 hardest bosses I’ve ever played against in Soulsborne are -Midir (DS3) -Sword Saint Isshin (Sekiro) -Consort Radahn (Shadow of the Erdtree) Actually Owl (Father) (whatever version of him you fight at the Hirata Estate) easily is on that same tier too. I didn’t really struggle in Bloodborne let alone against Orphan of Kos like a lot of others. Idk why.
Although I did struggle with orphan and I would put malenia and friede top 5 I agree with your sekiro takes. No mention of owl and isshin barely top 10 below rellana is honestly a terrible take.
Imo the only complaint I have on Radahn is his cross slash. I usually dodge it just out of pure reflex and not prediction. It's not even that hard to dodge it, but the fact that he can spontaneously do it with blinding speed is what it makes it hard. Other than all his moves are very rewarding after mastering.
I always say this, Laurence is the most difficult boss from Bloodborne. Insane damage and insane range. Orphan of Kos can be parried easily on his 1st phase but the fire cleric beast bullshit is straight nightmare.
I was like level 8 and he was still a breeze. Besides radahn most main bosses took less than 10 tries on ng 10 he is also far overrating rellana (above isshin like how)

The only reason Malenia's one of the hardest is cos of her completely bs waterfowl move. Radahn moves at the speed of light but ironically, Malenia's still harder cos of that 1stupid move.
Malenias actually fun when you figure out how to deal with waterfowl imo. I will agree that waterfowl is still bad design but I enjoy her boss fight significantly more now then my first time fighting her. The best way to avoid malenias waterfowl is to not get greedy on hits and run away. Right before she hits you with it you have to jump and it will miss. I think consort radahn is significantly more bs than malenia imo. He just has a ton of health, spams AOEs, and is able to stunlock you with clones

Malenia isn't harder at all, one majority of the fanbases has spent more hours, attempts and changing to multiple builds to destroy radahn. Meanwhile with malenia you only need bloodhound step, the fact she can easily get stunned is why she's far easier than radahn
Malenia waterfowl: first phase she does the attack at 3/4 health and 1/4. If you keep your eye on the health it’s easy to tell when she’s about to do it. 2nd phase is random far as i know
Some points: 1. there are different ways of gauging difficulty, how much they kicked your ass first time, and how hard they are on repeat playthroughs, prime examples, Isshin was incredibly hard first time, but once Sekiro clicks, it just clicks, I feel confident I could beat inner Isshin 9/10 times without practice now. 2. being able to be overlevelled changes Elden Ring, I would put valliant gargoyles on here if you do them at a reasonable level. 3. DS2 difficulty depends entirely on Adaptability level, if it’s too low it’s the hardest game because you can’t dodge anything, if it’s high enough it’s the easiest becuase the dodges are so forgiving
Personally for me I didn’t find Bayle to be much of a challenge. If I made a top 15 I don’t think he’d be on it. But with that being said, I can see how he’d Be on this list. This list is great

No matter what soulsborne game I've played since Bloodborne. Or any soulslike game for that matter, Laurence the first vicar will always be my hardest boss personally. Isshin is a distant 2nd but I mean distant. Laurence took me so many times over so many months on and off that I lost count. Only after having a few months break and coming back did I finally manage to do it after many, many attempts yet again. No boss comes close so far and I'm nearing the end of elden ring DLC.
People need to understand that Radahn and Miquella are literally the two known strongest demigods, who just because a God and a lord. And don’t forget about when people were complaining when the game first came out about Radahn that forced the creator himself to nerf him twice. So don’t forget what we are fighting, I love that fight and it would’ve been disappointed if the last ER boss was easy. 10/10 imo
I got Bayle in 3 tries... It's actually sad because this fight is sooooo epic and the most cinematic video game experience i've ever lived.. I kinda wish I had do struggle more to defeat him :( Radhan was a fucking nightmare though , and I loved it
I really wish all the FromSoft nerds (speaking as one myself!) would give Kingdom Hearts 3's Re:Mind DLC a go. If you want incredible bosses of brutal but fair difficulty, look no further. No shock that Yoko Shimomura, one of many fantastic composers for FromSoft, created music for that too
The hardest boss of Fromsoftware's game must be Laurence the First Vicar. I have beat Radahn DLC, Orphan of Kos, Friedel,... none of them made me die so many times as Laurence did. I also beat Sekiro at NG7+ Inner Isshin and again, they did not give me such a hard time as Laurence
The Dancer of Boreal Valley is my top hardest boss, i don’t know why but her timing always throws me off and I just can’t, if it wasn’t for being able to tank most of her hits I don’t honestly know if I can beat her solo. My head hangs in shame lol
Promised consort Radhan is the hardest but he is completely fair. I beat him the first time in ng+6 and the second time on ng+7 and didn't find anything that's bullshit, infact I think he is top 3 bosses of all time because even though he took me 70+ tries the first time I never got bored once.
Good list. Radahn is probably the hardest boss in soulsborne games, with Malenia indeed. Rellana isn't that hard in my opinion, it was the easiest of the list. And I had a pretty rough time with Soul of Cinder from DS3.
I changed my build to shield poke on my first play through, but on ng+1 I beat him with 2 frost godskin peelers and then again with a frost Nagakiba (with a boss replay mod)

What's so funny about that? On my first playthrough (90% no guides) i fought him second to last with level 18 blessing? After all 1) He is the 3rd hardest boss in the DLC, inside the second hardest area and 2) It is possible to be level 14 blessing without fighting ANY boss, level 17 with only fighting 3 minor bosses (golden hippo, inquisitor and dragon man), and level 18 with fighting these 3 minor bosses + Gaius.

@WinterFlare Everyone has a different experience with Souls games. On my first playthrough I intentionally stayed away from all major bosses until i explored EVERYTHING i could. Divine lion and Rellana can be hard if you fight them early, but they are a joke with high scadutree blessings. Now after 5 playthroughs on different NG cycles (on ng plus your blessings carryover), for me at least, the hardest bosses in the DLC, if all things equal, are Radahn and Bayle are the 2 hardest, and Messmer with Gaius are tied for 3rd.
Hot take apparently, but i personally think radahns difficulty is more fair then malenia. Malenia felt and still feels way over tuned. Radahn for me felt like a normal dark souls boss that was amped up by 10. More damage, larger combos, more AOE, more health, more everything. Everything is dodgeable though. He is by far more difficult, but the complaints i had were the same for midir. But now both are some of my favourite bosses
It's sad to think that the hardest bosses in Fromsoftware's modern history got their title for the wrong reasons. Previously, we were allowed to “speak” in battle, entering into the rhythm of the battle, like a dance. Be it the nameless king, Gael, Lady Maria or Isshin. Now bosses like Radhan just shut us up. If you understand what I mean.
Out of all the really hard bosses, Radahn is the only one I feel like is an issue. Even malenia is quite fun when you learn her fight and there’s a reason so many people like her. I don’t feel like a majority of the main fights in elden ring (outside of the shitty duos and some fights like elden beast and fire giant) made me feel like I couldn’t fight the boss the way I wanted to

Messmer before Nameless King and Friede is crazy. King is easy as hell after ER bosses, and only thing about Friede that is hard is her annoying second phase

When you said Consort Radahn was the only boss you had to change your build for, I felt that. I had the same problem.
Does changing your weapons and talismans but keeping your stats count as changing your build? On my first run I suffered through with just my greatsword, but on following runs I changed to a dagger and a shield so I could try a parry / dagger strat, (on str/fai and dex/arc builds respectively) which has since become my go-to method of killing him
i hate how i do like 1/100th of his health. im level 150 and using the anvil hammer. either my build is bad, or his hp is bloated as heck.

@@jollyco-operation Hmm, have you tried using charged attacks? You could use the axe talisman and the spiked cracked tear, as well as the flame shrouding cracked tear for your physick flask. Theres more openings in phase one for charged heavies that could hurt him a lot, and maybe even break his stance. Same goes for phase 2, but mainly when he does his grab attack or after his big 360° light pillars.
Or you could use the claw talisman if you want to stick to jumping attacks. Oh, and if you have a sufficient amount of faith, flame grant me strength and golden vow are really good damage buffing incantations.

I also thought they should add one but then i realised, how would the bosses scale? What keeps me from one-shotting godrick? Would he "level up" in new game + levels? How many new game + levels for each boss? But then the hardest bosses would be far too hard and i don’t know where you would draw the line. In sekiro it was easier since every remembrance upgraded your stats and the rematch bosses stats (as far as i’m concerned).
I think this could change some people’s opinions on at least some of the bosses. Instead of beating malenia, hating it, and then never fighting her again (at least without having to travel all the way to the endgame), you can just fight her immediately after and maybe learn how to deal with her better. This would also make trying different weapons and stuff way more fun
@@AlphaOmega-jh6ll How about the following: Bosses scaling behaves sames as base game zone scaling, and once you beat a boss within the biggest zone scaling, the bosses on the boss rush will "level up" , equivalent to that zone.
On new game the formula can be The biggest scaling possible * NG multiplier.
Edit: We might need some tweaks for some bosses that has special scaling like Fire Giant
Play on PC and mod your game.
Elden Rings DLC did something that no other Souls game or DLC has done to me. Finally beating the ER DLC, made every single other hardest boss from the other Souls games/DLCs feel like a cake walk. The jump in overall difficulty felt staggering
Agree. Fromsoft nailed the difficulty in the dlc. It felt sometimes so hard that it looked like they had reached the peak of gaming difficulty.
the main issue is their health bar bosses have like 50k hp even malenia is easy compared to bosses like radhan, messmer, bayle and rellana

Critical mode superbosses in the Kingdom hearts series took me way more tries than everything in soulsborne games.
Digital Devil saga demi fiend took me more hours than every boss in souls games as well, still regarded as One of the hardest jrpg boss fight ever created.
And games like i wanna be the boshy are beyond insanity in terms of difficulty, some bosses took like dozens of thousands of attempts (im not joking) to the very few people who bested them.

Malenia is easy if you can dodge waterfowl dance, Messmer is easy if you practice roll discipline. Malenia is easy to learn and Messmer is even easier.

Laurence is the first and only boss that in order to beat I had to use an invocation. Absurdly difficult
On new game Laurence on new game was pretty easy for me , took me 2 attempts but on ng+ that all changed and on ng+6 he took me like 25 attempts , his scaling on ng+ is insane and so is Orphan's .

I actually enjoyed Radhan. Might have been Stockholm syndrome since I was on that fight for 343 attempts but man during the later quarter I loved the fight. Idk how to explain it but it feels so epic and feels like your actually taking down a god. Along with the ost and boss arena its a 9/10 boss for me. One thing I do agree with tho is the hair that gets in the way cause yea thats bs, and the light that pops out I do agree with as well but as long as you keep dodging to his right it shouldn't be that bad. Also Laurence is overrhated imo. Probably need to fight him more then once but I managed to beat him in a little under or above 10 attempts.
For me the only bs was the cross slash undodgeable attack. Beside that, it became my fav boss

Isshin taught me determination in gaming seriously. Because you can’t cheese that boss, you have to do it by completely mastering Sekiro’s combat. Nowadays I can do him pretty easily even after stepping away from Sekiro for a while, but on that first playthrough Isshin was BRUTAL. I will never, ever question whether I have the ability to beat a boss or a game on my own terms having done him. Even in my ragiest moments against Radahn I knew I’d be able to do it. Love that fight though. He will always be my number 1 boss in gaming as a whole.
Btw, for the people Who says that has issues against Radanh Holy atracks... Just roll to the sides, and master phase 1 with that mentality. Eventually it will become on a non issue once you learn that.
he is still hard tho. I beat him with no difficulity now after 5 playthroughts. but in first 3 of them he make me rage so much. Btw ı mastered malenia after no hitting her but in radahn ı dont need to no hit to master him. Maybe it will take to long to no hit him like malenia first time. like malenia took like 4 5 hours to no hit. (ı was good at malenia before no hitting her)
Its more about the visibility and that if you get hit now he will deal even more damage because you get hit into the lasers

Except the AOE attacks you should roll at the end, its an insanely good strat against him.

Ok... Is just me?? Or am I the only one that finds the DS3 bosses to be pretty easy. Especially when compared to any of the Elden Ring, Sekiro, and Bloodborne bosses. Sure Midir and Friede are definitely not pushovers, but I definitely found Orphan, Consort Radahn, and pretty much all of the Sekiro bosses to be much harder.
Oh you’re right. Most of the main game bosses were push overs especially after playing Elden ring and even the harder dlc bosses don’t compare to the ones in Elden ring
I found the same thing. The only DS3 boss that gave me problems was Twin Princes (Princes who adore you, that’s what I said now) but even then I didn’t need more than 5 or 6 tries to beat them.
In my opinion, DS3 rolls are by far more generous as in it feels that there's a lot of from the rolls in DS3. Compared to Elden Ring where Ive gotten alot of roll catches more any other souls like game
Pontiff Sullivan without parrying is one of the hardest fights I've ever had to do. Aldrick made me stop playing all together for like 6 months
@@caesar1512 yes this is true. i feel like this is one thing some people forget. i dont think its just the speed of the bosses in elden ring that makes things feel harder, its that dodging is less forgiving, which is a subtle change with major impacts and can take awhile to adjust to

I always struggled the most with Lud & Zallen in DS2, also due to the walkback with the Frozen Reindeer. Now after my first playthrough, Radahn, Consort of Miquella is up there but maybe also just because I fought him on Scadutree level 0.

Good video. Only major disagreement is the bed of chaos. It’s either 3 attempts or 30 attempts to beat tho so it’s really random. Really awesome that a majority of the hardest bosses are also among my favorites

I appreciate that you acknowledge that you struggled with the mechanics on Orphan of Kos even though you didn't take a lot of attempts to beat him. I feel like too many people who go into a boss fight with an OP weapon or overlvled or just get good rng and beat a boss quickly just claim that the boss is "easy" even though they never learned how to actually deal with its abilities. There are a handful of bosses I've steamrolled, but recognize I could have gotten stuck on them for a while under different circumstances. The difficulty of a boss fight is primarily about how hard it is to directly engage with their mechanics, rather than just a measure of how many tries it takes a player to beat them, regardless of their build or stats.

On FIRST PLAYTHROUGH tho, I actually died the most to the Twin Princes on DS3, Was stuck on them for almost a MONTH lol, Tbf it was my first Dark Souls game & I was probably underleveled, But yeah that to this day was one of the greatest highs i ever got from killing a boss, Only one that matches it is KH1 Sephiroth, Was technically stuck on him for 20 years lol finally beat him a year ago and it felt incredible. Ngl, Some of those KH superbosses were legitimately harder than some of the toughest Souls bosses for me, KH2 Lingering Will is on par with Malenia & Radahn in terms of difficulty for me, Legit felt unbeatable at one point, But forced me into going god-mode when i finally beat him.

Ive played both elden ring and sekiro and i found isshin to be 10 times harder than malenia so ig it varies from person to person
@@hyp3rwolf991 yeah it varies to if you fully click with sekiro I find. For me I found once I learned the pattern (for humanoid bosses) that its just, attack until they deflect, then deflect until you have an opening to attack again, every humanoid boss became trivial

Beat him lvl 1 no scadu, he’s so easy took me a couple of tries his combo is really easy to dodge I just I frame the charge in the start and he gets staggered in 3 hits which is not a lot at all since he has really big punish windows
The need for the "Let Me Tank Him" Build as a replacement for summons just shows, how hillariously hard Consort Radahn is.
Oddly enough, Consort Radahn is my favorite boss in all of Elden Ring, and might be my 2nd favorite souls boss

Slave Knight Gael and Sister Freid are 2 of my favorites. So punishing and rewarding, and both require perfectly telegraphing their attacks. I had to listen while she turned invisible to perfectly dodge roll her stealth attack with my eyes closed. So exhilarating.
Laurence is definitely the hardest boss and best boss in Bloodborne
For me Rellana was was the hardest boss in the dlc. Glad to see it on the list. (I parried Radahn and somehow learned it pretty fast) In Rellana fight it was hard to find safe openings and most attaks were hard to parry.
The only thing I don't like about Radahn in the DLC is his 3 hit combo: right, left, double. I don't think you can dodge it by simply rolling, or at least I haven't been able to do it. But it gets even worse in the second phase beacuse you definetly get hit by all attacks including the light pillars.

Yeh the double slash is brutal. You have to be on the sides of him to not get hit by that. I'd love FromSoft to tighten up the hitboxes on that attack but part of me thinks it's intentional with all the experience they have with hitboxes up to this point.

partially fair: Malenia if you remove the waterfowl, isshin perfectly fair but way too demanding, Manus and Bayle same reason as isshin but to the point where learning them can be annoying at times, rellana she has some seriously fast combo starters and very short openings but other than that she can be considered fair i think
everyone else in the list is unfair or downright horrible imo
I feel so validated in my experience with Bloodborne bosses; everyone talked about how Orphan of Kos was so hard but I beat him on my second attempt. Lawrence, on the other hand, took me between 30 and 40 attempts!
After beating the dlc and going into ng+ , i beat pretty much all base game ER bosses first try, even malenia felt very forgiving and doable

Obviously these kinds of lists are pretty subjective but this list and order is pretty much spot on IMO. You didn’t include a single boss whose difficulty I find to be overblown / overrated, other than Midir who I don’t think is AS hard as many say but it still definitely a top 15 boss.
Only change I’d make is I’d find a way to get Gael on this list. He fucks me up. I’d take out Bed of Chaos because I have an incredibly easy strategy for it but I get why people find it hard.
Also I respectfully disagree about Radahn being totally bullshit but it’s a fair argument lol. He has that one really awful broken attack and the blinding holy AOEs can be cheap at times but overall I think he’s mostly fair. Definitely the hardest by a wide margin though.

Imo the only complaint I have on Radahn is his cross slash. I usually dodge it just out of pure reflex and not prediction. It's not even that hard to dodge it, but the fact that he can spontaneously do it with blinding speed is what it makes it hard. Other than all his moves are very rewarding after mastering.
I always say this, Laurence is the most difficult boss from Bloodborne. Insane damage and insane range. Orphan of Kos can be parried easily on his 1st phase but the fire cleric beast bullshit is straight nightmare.
Level 14-16 shadow tree level for Mesmer is way too high. Most people are 6-9 when they get to him.
Best level to fight him is around level 10.
I was like level 8 and he was still a breeze. Besides radahn most main bosses took less than 10 tries on ng 10 he is also far overrating rellana (above isshin like how)

The only reason Malenia's one of the hardest is cos of her completely bs waterfowl move. Radahn moves at the speed of light but ironically, Malenia's still harder cos of that 1stupid move.
Malenias actually fun when you figure out how to deal with waterfowl imo. I will agree that waterfowl is still bad design but I enjoy her boss fight significantly more now then my first time fighting her. The best way to avoid malenias waterfowl is to not get greedy on hits and run away. Right before she hits you with it you have to jump and it will miss. I think consort radahn is significantly more bs than malenia imo. He just has a ton of health, spams AOEs, and is able to stunlock you with clones
Run back -> jump -> roll -> walk straight, you just need patience

Malenia isn't harder at all, one majority of the fanbases has spent more hours, attempts and changing to multiple builds to destroy radahn. Meanwhile with malenia you only need bloodhound step, the fact she can easily get stunned is why she's far easier than radahn

Malenia waterfowl: first phase she does the attack at 3/4 health and 1/4. If you keep your eye on the health it’s easy to tell when she’s about to do it. 2nd phase is random far as i know

Some points:
1. there are different ways of gauging difficulty, how much they kicked your ass first time, and how hard they are on repeat playthroughs, prime examples, Isshin was incredibly hard first time, but once Sekiro clicks, it just clicks, I feel confident I could beat inner Isshin 9/10 times without practice now.
2. being able to be overlevelled changes Elden Ring, I would put valliant gargoyles on here if you do them at a reasonable level.
3. DS2 difficulty depends entirely on Adaptability level, if it’s too low it’s the hardest game because you can’t dodge anything, if it’s high enough it’s the easiest becuase the dodges are so forgiving
Personally for me I didn’t find Bayle to be much of a challenge. If I made a top 15 I don’t think he’d be on it. But with that being said, I can see how he’d Be on this list. This list is great
They make Radahn the hardest boss they've ever made already but then they put the "can't be within 50 feet of a school" demigod on his shoulder who miquellests you twice and auto ends the fight no matter your health

No matter what soulsborne game I've played since Bloodborne. Or any soulslike game for that matter, Laurence the first vicar will always be my hardest boss personally. Isshin is a distant 2nd but I mean distant. Laurence took me so many times over so many months on and off that I lost count. Only after having a few months break and coming back did I finally manage to do it after many, many attempts yet again. No boss comes close so far and I'm nearing the end of elden ring DLC.
Messmer at 11 is criminal

People need to understand that Radahn and Miquella are literally the two known strongest demigods, who just because a God and a lord. And don’t forget about when people were complaining when the game first came out about Radahn that forced the creator himself to nerf him twice. So don’t forget what we are fighting, I love that fight and it would’ve been disappointed if the last ER boss was easy. 10/10 imo

I got Bayle in 3 tries... It's actually sad because this fight is sooooo epic and the most cinematic video game experience i've ever lived.. I kinda wish I had do struggle more to defeat him :( Radhan was a fucking nightmare though , and I loved it

If you want incredible bosses of brutal but fair difficulty, look no further. No shock that Yoko Shimomura, one of many fantastic composers for FromSoft, created music for that too
The hardest boss of Fromsoftware's game must be Laurence the First Vicar. I have beat Radahn DLC, Orphan of Kos, Friedel,... none of them made me die so many times as Laurence did. I also beat Sekiro at NG7+ Inner Isshin and again, they did not give me such a hard time as Laurence

The Dancer of Boreal Valley is my top hardest boss, i don’t know why but her timing always throws me off and I just can’t, if it wasn’t for being able to tank most of her hits I don’t honestly know if I can beat her solo. My head hangs in shame lol

Promised consort Radhan is the hardest but he is completely fair. I beat him the first time in ng+6 and the second time on ng+7 and didn't find anything that's bullshit, infact I think he is top 3 bosses of all time because even though he took me 70+ tries the first time I never got bored once.
Bro 70 tries is nothing it took me 300 for malenia and 50 for abyss watchers which i only jsut started a week ago😂

Rellana isn't that hard in my opinion, it was the easiest of the list.
And I had a pretty rough time with Soul of Cinder from DS3.

I changed my build to shield poke on my first play through, but on ng+1 I beat him with 2 frost godskin peelers and then again with a frost Nagakiba (with a boss replay mod)

Messmer level 16? Are you kidding? He’s the second or third boss you encounter!
What's so funny about that? On my first playthrough (90% no guides) i fought him second to last with level 18 blessing? After all 1) He is the 3rd hardest boss in the DLC, inside the second hardest area and 2) It is possible to be level 14 blessing without fighting ANY boss, level 17 with only fighting 3 minor bosses (golden hippo, inquisitor and dragon man), and level 18 with fighting these 3 minor bosses + Gaius.
11-12 is actually the sweet spot for Messmer. I think the video got it wrong here.
@@ethanpispas4098idk man, just doing regular exploration I was around blessing 9 when I fought him and he definitely wasn’t the 3rd hardest boss when u had bosses like Bayle, Radahn, Divine Beast (I swear he is so annoying in lightning and frost phase), and Rellana.
@WinterFlare Everyone has a different experience with Souls games. On my first playthrough I intentionally stayed away from all major bosses until i explored EVERYTHING i could. Divine lion and Rellana can be hard if you fight them early, but they are a joke with high scadutree blessings. Now after 5 playthroughs on different NG cycles (on ng plus your blessings carryover), for me at least, the hardest bosses in the DLC, if all things equal, are Radahn and Bayle are the 2 hardest, and Messmer with Gaius are tied for 3rd.

Hot take apparently, but i personally think radahns difficulty is more fair then malenia. Malenia felt and still feels way over tuned.
Radahn for me felt like a normal dark souls boss that was amped up by 10. More damage, larger combos, more AOE, more health, more everything. Everything is dodgeable though. He is by far more difficult, but the complaints i had were the same for midir. But now both are some of my favourite bosses
It's sad to think that the hardest bosses in Fromsoftware's modern history got their title for the wrong reasons. Previously, we were allowed to “speak” in battle, entering into the rhythm of the battle, like a dance. Be it the nameless king, Gael, Lady Maria or Isshin. Now bosses like Radhan just shut us up. If you understand what I mean.

Out of all the really hard bosses, Radahn is the only one I feel like is an issue. Even malenia is quite fun when you learn her fight and there’s a reason so many people like her. I don’t feel like a majority of the main fights in elden ring (outside of the shitty duos and some fights like elden beast and fire giant) made me feel like I couldn’t fight the boss the way I wanted to

Suddenly, something “new”, it could be considered a feature of this boss, then some bosses from the DLC do not leave anything behind except irritation. I would say its pretty clear that while the community generally agrees she has some issues like waterfowl dance and such and there is definitely a decent amount of people who do not like her at all, she is generally loved by the majority

I don't understand why Isshin is so low. I didn't finish Elden Ring's DLC yet but at this moment, Isshin was the hardest Soulsborne boss for me.
My list would just be all Elden Ring if I went by who gave me the most trouble on my first playthrough of these games 😭
Its so weird how i defeated isshin on my 3rd try on a first time playthrough, hes not that hard to me but demon of hatred is what made me quit the game for a bit. Isshin doesnt ever come into my top hardest bosses but thats so cool how its all based on perspective and variations in experience
Messmer before Nameless King and Friede is crazy. King is easy as hell after ER bosses, and only thing about Friede that is hard is her annoying second phase
people are overhating radahn, you just have to learn him, and he is like any other boss. Only actual complaint is miquellas hair, but even then, its not that bad
