My name is Joel, I work and manage Sunny Knoll Stables located in North Eastern Pennsylvania. There's always something happening as we do our best to take care of these beautiful animals. Between the weather the family and everyday shenanigan's, who knows what is going to happen next!

Hey Joel, could I suggest you guys put an elevated cover over the donkey water trough? Kind of like you put over the horse field hay feed spot. That way you can eliminate what we mechanical engineers call 'black-body radiation'. Could save both time and money. Cheers!

Maybe the feed is compressed because it doesn't have additives to keep it from clumping. To me, that would be a good thing. xoxo

Great video with a huge cast of characters today and major donkey time today. How exciting you're going to have two mares in the stable (and have more clients). It's wonderful everyone is able to pitch in and help with repairs/construction. Every time I see you and Megan working it reminds me of your parents.

I've been trying to catch up with all The Stable Life and Veggie Boys doings - I've been in the hospital for back surgery, so I only missed a few days, but it seems like missed a ton! I'm home now, and I'll have lots and lots of time to get back up to speed (pun intended).

Here in Canada we call it either "pressed chip board" or just "chip board".
In my country, we don't get much snow or very hard freezes the last 60 years, but we wear much thicker coats, jumpers, scarfs, etc in winter. It's something I notice in all the youtube farmer video's from the USA/Canada... you don't seam to wear thick winter clothes,. I was wondering, is that a culture thing?

I was surprised to hear u get heated jackets😮what exactly is it called and where can we find them, that is just awesome for snowy weather. Although snow is sooo beautiful it surely must be cold specially when it starts melting. Thx for sharing always a pleasure to watch u guys and gals😊

F.Y.I. The Poplar Report or Adventures with Danno UA-cam channel commented there is a problem with Purina dog and cat food but no information if the same problem extends to other type categories of pet feed. The report was within the last ten days.
Dig around the shop and find two more metal electrical boxes with some conduit. Use 12-2 wire and direct wire them to where your heaters are plugged in. You should then have 3 separate outlets on the same circuit. The automatic waterers will stay on all the time. Get two timers for the other outlets. You can then set the other two water heaters to turn on and off automatically at any time you want.
From wi we just got 12" with wind drifts 4ft high in places and the ground wasn't frozen had to be careful plowing
I am glad that you enjoy the snow. I grew up in Sweden and my feelings about snow are a lot less enthusiastic.

Hi Joel. donkeys are awesome. Our donkey killed a badger the other day. We call him Don Quixote. He protects our younger cattle in the big pasture. My brother will be getting sheep again and another donkey to protect them. He stopped as he got tired of dogs attacking them and the owners got mad when he shot them to protect them. So he thinks a donkey would do the trick.

Fl girl lived once out of state NW Pa Allegheny Mountains area near New York line. I’ve never been so cold 22 below but I had a border collie so we had to go for a hike, Forest hiking loved it ❤ Sadly, after two years had to move back to FLA, which is way too overcrowded

That is a Federal Secret. Years of research into it. All to get you to grab the wrong string and have to use a knife, or nail, teeth, or a worn thin horseshoe to get it open! ❤
How the heck do the horses know which stall is theirs??
