For the first couple of years I kept reading how Sansa was a waste of space and how uninteresting she was. I kept saying she was playing the Game of Thrones better than anyone, save maybe Tyrion and Varys. At the end I predict Sansa sits on the Iron Throne with Arya and the Hound as Queens guards.

Most of the hate for her comes from the first few season when she was just a “dumb little girl”. The hate ever went away despite having the most character development in the whole series.
Every time I see the charge of the Vale I notice they ride straight to defend Wun Wun. I like to imagine Sansa gave orders to protect him as possibly the last of his kind, and not just because he's a handy rallying point.

I dont understand why some people hate her. Yes she was dumb, bu she was a teenager and she never knew any cruelty before. She was raised by loving parents in loving family ( except cat and jon relationship) and of course she acted as any teen girl. But she learned quick, she was smart enough to stay calm when needed and act as needed, she was through a lot of thing whicj didn't break her but made smarter and tougher, and she deserved being Queen of North in the end
That's right!! You could see her character development slowly and she was the only one who truly learned anything. She's also the only one you could trust not to go back to being who she used to be.

But I saw her as the truest character for the feudal medieval times, when sisters and daughters were married off to enemies and then had to somehow be the glue to hold treaties together. Arya, Dany....they’re easy to worship....because they’re not realistic for the time period - I mean there weren’t too many Joan of Arcs. But everyone was a Sansa...they all learned how to play the game from a young idealistic girl through the revelation that idealism isn’t life. By about the 7th season...some of my friends started coming around and saying: “Maybe you’re not so far off on her.” LoL. She didn’t get the iron throne, but she did become queen!
Sansa is not my favourite carachter but she's brave and like everyone i wasn't really like her in the first season . But her life is one of the most interesting parts.
