I love clean Engines when they are new but, I especially love how the old dirty rusty faded paint jobs give the engines a lot of character. Well done....
Now that Benny Ray is dead and gone, I hope someone takes over that will expand these operations all the way to the interchange with CSX at Elberton and repaint these units to their original colors. Our little communities along the line could sure use railfans’ dollars!!
It appears the strongest of them all is the SD40-2 because for when it pushed all those black hoppers just its self it probably requires 3 of the others to do that

This is awesome! I’ve never seen so much fallen flag power in one spot before.
Lived in hartwell all my life and never knew this little gem existed until today
Looks like they take good care of their track. This is a good short line.
Great footage and I especially liked the information you gave on the different locos!
That was really great love seeing the Conrail

That might be a Sd38.
At 21:17 how do you do that ?
What road is the Black and Yellow Loco From?
3000 was on the St Lawrence & Atlantic Railroad but when Emons got bought out by G&W in 2002 the 3000 got sold.
Too bad they couldn't have purchased an ex-Wisconsin Central locomotive, especially an SD45!
NICE!!!!!
Nice Video
