THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT!!!!!!!!! Hey, check out my version of the ghosts of 'Hamilton' in the Haunted Mansion, whaddya think?: - Alexander Hamilton (Act 2) as the stretching portrait of the dynamite gentleman - Eliza Hamilton (Act 2) as the stretching portrait of the tightrope walker - Maria Reynolds as the stretching portrait of the black widow - The SMFDR (Thomas J., James M., and Aaron B. (Act 2)) as the stretching portrait of the quicksand men - Changing portraits: Cute Hamilton in Act 1 to his "evil" self in Act 2 - Changing portraits: King George the lady's man to his serial killer self - Changing portraits: Phillip Hamilton raising his pistol to the sky to getting shot - Changing portraits: Eliza in 'Helpless' to herself in 'Burn' - Changing portraits: Lafayette on horseback to themselves as skeletons (kinda similar to the Black Prince) - Changing portraits: Cute Peggy Schuyler to bad Maria Reynolds - Angelica Schuyler as Madame Leota - The 1700 Winters Ball portrayed by the grand hall in the 'Haunted Mansion', including Hamilton and Burr as the duelists in this video - I'm not sure about the attic bride, which do you think would potray her? Eliza or Maria? - And finally, every ghost of 'Hamilton' singing 'Grim Grinning Ghosts' (the Hamilsquad as the singing head busts, King George III and Queen Charlotte teetering on a gravestone, and the SMFDR as the Hitchhiking Ghosts)
Interesting! Please keep them coming. The duelists appear in the ballroom scene of The Haunted Mansion. I think that it may be Alexander Nitrokoff as a young man with pants on and Master George Gracey, Jr. dueling each other, because it was believed that the owner of the scary facade got jealous at the dynamite man for admitting that he caused him to have an affair with Madame Leota.
Can someone tell me if this was ever in the ride: I have a clear memory from the first time I rode HM, of the duelists floating OUT of their paintings (towards the buggies), then turning and firing at each other, and each vanishes in a puff of smoke. I haven't yet found anything that indicates this memory is true, but I maintain that I preferred this animation to the current one, of them simply turning in their paintings and firing.
I have never seen or heard of the animation you speak and by the looks of the Osmond Brother's special where they are testing the Duelist's audioanimatronics, they simply turn and fire with no going forward motion.
I know this may be sacrilegious to the backstory of Phantom Manor, this is basically my what if I extended the Ravenswood family. Here’s my version, Melanie wasn’t the only child she was the youngest of two brothers, named George and Arthur. The two fought in the American civil war, one in the South the other in the North. Both brothers quarreled and challenged each other in a duel and died leaving Melanie the soul survivor.
I imagine the duelists were brothers who never got along. This came to a head when the duelist in black was arranged to marry little Leota. He loved her but she didn't return his affections. Instead she preferred the duelist in gray. The one in black was furious and challenged his brother the day before the wedding. Winner gets Leota. The duelist in black shot the duelist in gray and, in grief, Leota grabbed her beloved's gun and shot the duelist in black.
Y'know, while the idea of them being rivals is obviously a good point, I thought of a funnier, yet macabre idea. Like you said about the left Dualist's attire resembling that similar to "evil" men from the old vintage cinema era. Maybe they were actors in life, and that someone accidentally gave the left Dualist a real gun, and in this film scenario, the left Dualist was supposed to shoot the right Dualist before the dual should've happened. But unfortunately, he ACTUALLY shot him. This ruined his acting career, and one day, shot himself. But in death, the two are trying to recreate the filming scene, but have a hard time doing so. Because they don't have a director to help them.
I can already imagine another stories of the masion video it will have the ball in ghosts probably the grandmother ghost or the chandelier ghost or even better the birthday ghost
I like to believe they’re the ghosts of Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton.

I think so too
Based on that footage, it actually looks to me like the one on the right is shooting first and the one on the left totally misses his shot.

The Dueling Ghosts remind me of Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton and their duel.
That’s a pretty good impression of Paul Frees
I have a theory on who they are
I think they could possibly be Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr
Lil golden book of a book of this coming out
Loved seeing them shooting those guns lol

The dualist are the coolest ghost in the haunted mansion!!!!!!!!
Love the music! I know it’s in the 2003 video game, but who is the artist?

Great content! I enjoy the back stories you provide for several different characters in the mansion
Very nice. These fellows don't get much play, but you're right , the duelist on the left looks very devilish 💀
The duelists remind me of the duel between Hamilton and Burr, they'd be perfect for those 'Haunted Mansion' roles
Yes, many have thought of those two when looking at these. It wouldn't be hard to think that Marc Davis inspired himself on those.

The duelist on the left with the goatee definitely looks like Mephistopheles.
